The worst ever airport in the world, needs a lot of improvement and development. Cleaning is something that you will not find nor get inside this institute.

Najaf airport is charging 20$ per passenger but it is not providing any necessary facilities to the passengers overall it is neat and clean but they provide mobile charging facility only none other than that and the prices of the things and foods available at airport is double than the market price and that written on the products so lots of improvements are required

Very disappointed to see uncooperative and rude immigration staff. They try to find ways to extort travellers. Probably one of the worst airports in terms of very basic services and cleanliness. A large number of pilgrims travel through this airport every year and the reception one expect is far from professional team of operators. The country's authorities must pay immediate attention to restore positive image of the country.

Totally not happy with this airport: - Their arrival imagination staff are in a bad mood and not very cooperative, they reflect a bad image on the country, they took more than 3 hours to provide us with the visa. - on the departure section there was one restaurant, the cashier was totally not in the mood to talk, we ordered a pizza and meat warp, the pizza had a hair inside of it and the meat was very smelly.

It's a below average airport. A burger joint and a shop. Confusing gates etc. But most people would not be flying through here and would only be here for an absolutely needed trip.

The airport is nice and clean. Be ready to show your documents half a dozen times before you make it to the gate. We were here when the airport was not busy at all and yet it took us over 2 hours to make it to the gate. Immigration staff is rude and moves extremely slow. Make sure you are at the airport 4-5 hours before your flight departure time.

Najaf is one of the cleanest airports and well kept. The staff here is extremely courteous and always welcoming. The air traffic is minimal and visitors here are pilgrims hoping to visit the haram of Imam Ali A.S

Very small and very crowded at most of the times, long waits at the passports counter, dirty and dusty... It takes more than half an hour to get inside the airport then it's a check after check. There is no order at quees and special Iranian visitors... It needs alot of work and maintenance and changes to make it easier for passengers to get in and out of the airport

Alert 📢 Shopkeepers inside Najaf airport are scammers. If you are an Expat please read below points; 1. Do carry IQD with you. 2. Always count cash when Shopkeeper returns you money back. 3. Do calculate $ to IQD or vice versa after finalizing with Shopkeepers. 4. Never trust Shopkeepers inside Najaf airport. 5. After listening the price, do confirm it with the shopkeeper twice. 6. Do carry pennies with you.

This a small airport as compare to Mumbai airport. Yet the facilities are available. Arrival section is smaller to the departure section. Trollies, wash rooms, refresh room, etc are there. Facilities for handicapped persons are also available. Arrival was smooth and memorable

Najaf International Airport (IATA: NJF, ICAO: ORNI) is an international airport located east of the city of Najaf, one of the most important cities in Iraq. The airport was established on a former military air base. In 2008, the airport was officially opened to receive flights coming to the city of Najaf. The passenger building includes offices for airlines and services, parking for cars, a control tower, an air cargo hall, and a VIP hall. The airport is managed by Aqiq Holding Company for Aviation Services.

It is not organized at all. Corruption within the management. If you know someone at Najaf Airport, you don't have to stand in line at all.

The airport was good but had a very bad experience from the staff of fly baghdad....very rude staff in matter of weight they were not allowing even 1 kg above the weight mentioned...and was misbehaving i have never seen such things in any other flight....even every member of flight was complaining the same thing....the person collecting the tickets before on board was much worse then others i want a serious complaint to write against these persons so that pilgrims of holy lands should not suffer like this in future...every one said we will not travel via fly baghdad again

The worst airport I've ever seen- staff can not speak english- there is a long line of cars at the entrance and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the vehicles to be searched by dogs and for passengers to pass the first security- then there is another line outside the building at the entrance of the airport, again for the passengers to pass the second ticket checking and security. After you get your boarding pass, another line to check the passports- at last another line to be searched before boarding the plane. After all it takes an hour and a half to pass all the lines- at the last search, they took my hair conditioner and said it's forbidden!!!- the announcer of the airport just speak Arabic and no english.- it's not an international airport just domestic.
