I love the history of Anacortes. Love the historic building.. that actually used to be the Anacortes library. back in the 1900's AND THE 1800'S PRITTY COOL HUH? :)

This local museum is a gem. Located in a historic library it relays local history and lore.

Interesting little museum with a lot of history of Anacortes that I didn't know before. The historical building is beautiful too.

The attendant at the museum was the absolute best tour guide. I learned more about Anacortes than I could have learned in any history book. Such a sweet lady!

Free (donations appreciated) - cool place to visit and learn about Anacortes. We went during Christmas time and they had Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer theme, it was fun for the (kids), but we went twice once with out the babies :) ... Lots to read and see if you enjoy history of small towns. I want to go back and I will soon.

Bret and team are doing a great job of keeping the history and community vibrant and understood.
