Loved this place! Newly renovated, modern design and big comfy bed made me feel fancier than the price I paid. Their creative after hours (9 pm) check in worked well. The parking lot per GPS directions can be a bit tight but drive around the corner and there’s another convenient said of the parking lot that isn’t immediately obvious. Highly recommend!

If I could give this inn zero stars I would. I stayed here in July 2022 on a last minute one night getaway. The way I was treated bothered me so much, to this day, I decided that I should finally warn others. It is also helpful to note that I grew up with family in the hotel business and I have stayed in many hotels. I have never been treated this way EVER. I showed up and the room looked lovely. No complaints there. The TV wasn't working and a wonderful woman from the front desk did her best to try to fix it. We then realized the internet was also not working, and I was coming from Canada with no phone service, so the wifi was a necessity for my husband and I to make plans for his birthday weekend, since it was last minute. Front desk came to my room and saw the cable was not working. It was clear that there was an issue. The front desk told us we were not the only ones having issues. I was told the owner was coming to reset the this system. Since it was taking time, we decided to pop out and find a place to eat, expecting to come back later to internet and cable. When we arrived home after dinner, the reception was closed. Since we still had no cable or internet, I decided to call the after hours contact on the card we were given. When I called that number, a woman answered. I later learned she was the owner. I was basically told that I'm the only one complaining and there is no issue. It seemed that my complaint was a nuisance to her. I stated that we were here from Canada with no phone service and that we were trying to have a nice birthday weekend away, so I would love to have the services I paid for. The woman abruptly told me that she did not care why I was there and proceeded to tell me she could come and give us our money back so we can go find a hotel elsewhere. I tried to explain that this was impossible, due to the late hour and the lack of resources (internet) to find an appropriate hotel booking. We declined the offer to leave. The call quickly escalated to her yelling and telling me that she was coming in 5 minutes and that she was making us leave. We went back and forth as she told me that I was being kicked out and to get my stuff together. I told her that I paid for the room and I was not leaving. After a bit, another woman suddenly appeared on the phone and seemed apologetic. She asked that we take care of this in the morning. I told that woman (I presume the daughter) that the way I was treated was unacceptable. In the morning I went to reception. No owner. No knowledge/note of any of this at the front desk. Nothing. No apology from them. I even checked for my bill in the coming week to see if they took anything off for the inconveniences. Nothing. This woman had basically treated her paying customer like garbage and with such disrespect, I can't even believe she is still in business. When I mentioned my interaction to the employees at the front desk, I learned this was the owner. There was absolutely no surprise in the employee responses to my interaction. I have since read other reviews of people talking about how poorly they were treated here. I believe them! It's really too bad because it is a nice little place. I will NEVER stay here again and tell everyone I know to avoid it.

This place must be owned by foreign investors who have no personal concern for the people inhabiting this place or project at large. It's as close to warehousing as a hotel can be. There was significant noise as well due to poor construction. The location is good but it should be completely redone. I recommend anywhere else in Anacortes above this establishment.

If I could give 0 stars I would. What bothers me the most was the way we were treated. Rude and unprofessional behavior. Front desk. We arrived at 3pm and were not treated, but told we would have fi come back at 4pm for check in. We asked for early check in as we had a dinner to attend and were told no. She did not even look. She did not offer to even store our bags. We called the manager and the same girl answers and says he isn't in. Will not tell us when he will be in, nor give us her first name. We decided to get another hotel, even though we had fi eat the price, because this woman was awful. STAY AWAY!!

Enjoyed my stay @ Salish Inn in Anacortes recently. The staff is very helpful and friendly but the rooms are fairly small and acoustics not so great. If you end up in a room next to the stairwell you will hear slamming of the door in the mornings as people are coming and going to breakfast, cleaning rooms etc. The hotel is only 2 yrs old and decor modern. The location is just coming into town and not the prettiest of views by far, both main roads one in front and one behind but close to all conveniences. I would stay again due to pricing but make sure I was in a quieter room next time.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Check in was easy and the hotel is very close to restaurants near by. We had a good stay. No complaints and would stay again!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was the only place left when I went to book an overnight trip to Anacortes for the Oyster Run motorcycle rally and I figured anywhere with a bed would suffice. But I'm glad I booked here. Parking was plentiful with a few spots under cover which I appreciated for the motorcycle. Checking in was easy. The lobby was stocked with some snacks, incidentals, an espresso machine, and a couple beers on tap. The room was really nice and clean. I appreciated the black out shades and closet space to hang up my soaked riding gear. The small kitchenette was well stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. There were plenty of USB outlets. And the shower was nice and hot. In the morning, I had the continental breakfast and checked out. I have stayed in a few different hotels in Anacortes but this one has become my favorite and I will be returning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Anacortes

My room was a bit small but updated, comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. The only problem I had was with the keycard system not working very well on the exterior door.

Our second stay here. New and clean "budget" hotel. We have family in town and come here often. Most other places in town are decades old, and it shows. We tried airbnb last time, and we were disappointed. Rooms here at the Salish Inn are smallish but comfortable. Millenial minimalist styling. Minimal onsite staff, so they wear many hats and are always busy but super helpful when you find them. Anacortes is small by any measure, so everywhere is close to everything. You are 5 minutes from anything you need. You will need a car.

Salish Inn is centrally located in Anacortes, making it easy to get around. The property is relatively new, one of the nicest in Anacortes. We have stayed in several different hotels/motels and RV parks over the years, including Airbnb's and VRBO's. Our room has a kitchenette, which was very nice. This included pots, pans, dishes, and silverware, just no paper towels. You have to provide some items. Breakfast is included each day, although it is not a full-spread. It will get you going for the day. The staff is very accommodating when you can locate them. 4-STARS

This is a nice, basic, no frills hotel. If staying here, please note that they have limited staffing. If you check in after 9:00, you must make alternate arrangements as the front desk is not staffed at all hours. Nice location with a nice room. Just be prepared for limited staffing and resources during your stay.

Room was smallish but very clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was actually really nice and had a deep tub. Continental breakfast was pretty sparse but fine. Everyone was very nice -- seems like a family run place? Would stay again.

We took a weekend vacation and chose this Salish inn in Anacortes. The location of course is great, there are a lot of things to do and it's very peaceful. But we were somewhat disappointed with this hotel. Its only a year old and even on check in the reservation guy had absolutely no personality whatsoever. I'm not sure how this happened we were on the third floor in a room called (Fidalgo) which somehow cost us $119 a night. My daughter was in the second floor at a deluxe suite which was the same as ours basically but much larger same king-size bed but she only paid $89 a night- go figure. I don't know where their prices come from. The first night in the morning we put the sign out for the girl to clean the room, and this is the first time in thirty years our maid never came in and cleaned the room! it's never happened before, someone actually did not clean the room. But when we went downstairs around 10 in the morning the two girls were at the front desk sitting around talking and they were there for hours because when we got back later they were still there talking. The advertised about having a cafeteria breakfast area which was closed the entire time we were there so no food either but they have a little coffee machine. They have DirecTV so needless to say we had several problems with the TV the guy actually had to come up into a room the first night and reset the device. The hotel for the most part is very clean. Its new so you would expect new sinks, mirrors, showers it's definitely an updated hotel with heavy doors each door to your room is pretty heavy to open. After that first night they really didn't have any staff around the building just the two cleaning girls that we saw and they milled around the front desk area and one was on the floors with the cleaning cart but no other actual employees that I saw. Probably the next time we're up in this area we won't stay here but it was not all bad. Oh and the last thing I'm going to add. I was actually very disappointed with the hot tub! It's a small hot tub I did not mind that what I did mind is that it's outdoors. there's a little 5 ft wall on both sides but when you walk outside of the gym to get to the hot tub it's cold and then you're going to go into the hot tub which is hot and then get out of the hot tub and you're going to be freezing again. that should have been an enclosed space. Update: After reading the response from Salish inn employees let me clarify a few items. The picture of the bed with my suitcase is NOT to show any uncleanliness since that was my last morning before I left, (packing and all) it was solely to show the size of the room. Secondly, I do not lie on reviews, your front desk girl & the cleaning girl were talking for hours at the front desk area Saturday morning and more. Say what you like...lastly, she did not clean the room or put out new towels etc. Reading your response to a customers review just solidifies our reasons for not going back to your hotel. Also I never said our stay was so terrible we were not happy with several aspects of your hotel you should use this criticism to make some positive changes.

More like Sadish Inn.On a side street. Our room had a bad view-looked at old apartment building. Tight parking. Poor breakfast...had out 1 hard boiled egg, a few slices of white bread, 3 unappetizing selections of dry cereal and a few other things. The room was okay...basic. I thought this was going to be like a Hampton Inn; however, after staying there, that's not fair to Hampton Inn.

I have no complaints. Looks like this place is new or maybe going through a complete renovation. I did see a few reviews that had problems, I had none. Comfortable bed, room is nice, view isn't much but walking distance to restaurants. I rested well here
