What a pity, I'm terrible sorry to see the lack of maintenance of the place, and the town in general, including gardens. I know the place for over 50 years, and it is really painful to realize that things are going on the wrong track. It seems that nobody cares, and the money is just spent somewhere else. The internet wifi, provides a service at 5Mbps, being lucky. I wish I could recommend the place...

Really disappointing place, the hotel has NOTHING To Do with the Termas. Is overpriced for what the rooms are, they are old and smelly. It doesn’t includes any entrance to the Thermal waters which are equally overpriced. You have to pay extra for everything gym, sauna, water… you will think that because of the name it will at least give you a discount for the entrance to the waters, it doesn’t. Wifi reception is terrible in the rooms.

The gardens were once so very beautiful! Still has a romantic energy about it. The couple massage was what brought me there. Friendly staff, facilities are very much untouched by time. Peaceful and serene.

We had a beautiful stay at this Pet-friendly hotel, they are allowing dogs over 23kg, which in Portugal is very good, most Hotels only accept over 15kg! The hotel is nice with friendly staff, located inside a beautiful garden, where you can relax do some reading or walk with your dog. We enjoyed the breakfast pretty good with different options even for vegetarians, mind that the dog is not allowed on the breakfast room! Thank you very much to Carina and Guilherme for being super friendly, regards from Blimunda, she already missing you!

Review with an update: I had previously rated my stay as very poor. Especially because they had no hot water in the room and despite our interactions with the staff, after the problem was detected, we were not informed until we found out by ourselves, when prepared to shower the next morning. After a formal complaint, I still felt that their customer service was deplorable, almost as they didn't care. And the piece of resistance was calling them 10 minutes after we checked out, under a different name, and booking a room for that same day, without any warning or concern from their side. This is my second stay there. The first stay we didn't stay more than 15 minutes, after entering a lousy and dirty room. Decided to give a second chance. How I regret it...

Very good price/quality ratio, awesome garden and forest area for walking/jogging/enjoying. Pool is ok, breakfast normal for a 3 star hotel, rooms are quiet with big bathrooms. The glory days of the Termas can be imagined since the buildings are quite nice and in fairly good shape, gardens well kept, left the place feeling that a refurbishment could easily turn it into a 5 star hotel. Hope it's glory days can come again. As it is now, price/quality is very good nevertheless.
