Sashimi & sushi was really fresh, cuts were decent, taste was excellent but bit pricy! The restaurant is literally inside the main entrance of the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. I wish I checked, circling around the parking lot several times looking for the entrance of the restaurant. There's plenty of parking. This is definitely a kid friendly place, so close to Disney.

Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. We enjoyed a late dinner after a full day at Disneyland. We ordered edamame and tempura to start, several pieces of nigiri, the Hanagi roll, tempura roll and California roll.. All were delicious. The nigiri was fresh and well-plated. Perfect end to our time here in Anaheim.

The restaurant is located inside the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. As soon as you enter and get your parking ticket, drive straight and park near the roundabout of the hotel lobby. That’s the only way to make it in. The ambiance inside the restaurant was excellent. The food was also good. The size of the sushi in this place is bigger than usual but great and delicious. We started off with Garlic Edamame which was great and not drenched in to much sauce. The middle roll is spicy salmon roll and the colorful one is the rainbow roll.

Great experience celebrating with the family. The sushi was really fresh and high quality. All the dishes looked amazing and tasted even better. We loved the sashimi and all the rolls. The Tempura was really good too. I highly recommend this place for the food and vibes

German and everyone on the team was great! Highly recommend the sashimi sampler and sashimi bowl. They had uni as well so I definitely got some!

Loved the atmosphere and setup of this Japanese restaurant inside the Majestic Garden Hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well. All of the sushi was really delicious, especially the spicy tuna rolls. The seared salmon hand roll was good but not my favorite. We also really loved the tempura, yellowtail, and blue fin sushi.

The location of Hanagi is in the Magic Castle Hotel, and the decorations are spot on for the Disney Castle feel. It is a bit interesting walking from the hotel side into the restaurant but not a bad experience. The food was delicious. At first, the Yelp page said they had shabu shabu, but when my party asked, they said they didn't serve it at the time. I ordered the Chef Chirashi Sushi Bowl and the Hanagi Special Roll, which was incredibly delicious. The price is a bit on the more expensive side, but they validate parking. Overall, I had a good experience with the food, even with it missing the shabu. I would like to come back here again and try their other menu items.

Wonderful low-key place right in Anaheim. This place is in a hotel and it was very odd at first. However, the restaurant itself is amazingly decorated. The booths are well decorated and pleasant. The lighting was very good as well . The sushi was simply amazing. We had the omakase it was well worth the price. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Definitely ask for the specials and listen to the waiters recommendations. You will not be disappointed.

I have never, EVER been a sushi person. My friend made a reservation for this place for our first day on our LA trip and I went with the intention of not eating any raw fish. HA was I wrong. Our server Ratib, and the staff were very accommodating and kind. If it was not for Ratib consistently asking me to try the sushi my friend ordered I would not have had the most delicious seafood meal of my life. I would love to bring my family here someday. Thank you Hanagi Restaurant for awakening my taste buds to sushi. I am forever grateful and I hope more people come and try the delicious Japanese food you all have to offer.

Located inside of the majestic garden hotel, it’s a hidden gem. The sushi was fresh and beautifully setup. The older women there seated us and was very attentive and nice. The atmosphere was super impressive as each table had a private surrounding. They had real sushi like Uni. I recommend this place for some intimate time with the spouse after a long day at Disney and the kids are in bed.

I've passed by this place whenever I stay at Anaheim Majestic Garden. I've always wanted to try it, but for a while, they didn't do take out orders. The inside is nice and very clean and simple. Like in a minimalistic way, if that makes sense. When I had gone, they were packed. People who worked there would still turn and greet you as you walk in. As busy as they were, they apologized for making you wait. The staff was super nice and thorough. They double-checked my order when I placed it, and they triple checked it when packing it up and made sure I had all the sauces and silverware that I would need. I had ordered: 1. California roll - fresh and tasty 2. Double shrimp tempura roll - The shrimp tempura was tasty and the crunchy cucumber was a good balance with the eel sauce. It wasn't overly drenched in sauce but just the right amount that all the components complimented each other and you didn't get sick of the taste. 3. Shrimp tempura with vegetables- Pretty much what you works expect at any Japanese restaurant. It wasn't soggy or drenched in oil. It was crispy, and they had different vegetables than I'm used to, such as bell pepper, asparagus, or a leaf. 4.. Chicken karaage - Crunchy and flavorful. You really didn't need the dipping sauce they provided, but I like to dip it and dip the excess sauce on my rice. 5. Hibachi beef- Cooked perfectly medium and was tender and oh so juicy. Overall, everything we had was amazing amd exceeded our expectations. I definitely, can't wait to come back here soon.

Hanagi Restaurant a hidden gem! the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been! FOOD: five star! fresh, delicious, flavorful, made to perfection with absolute satisfaction, savoring all flavors in each every bite. No exaggeration! LOCATION: it’s absolute package of experience! located inside at the heart of Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel, where in the amazing experience does not stop at Hanagi Restaurant, you can explore the hotel amenities; game room (love the pool table), bar, bistro, koi pond, deli and gift shop, picturistic views of gardens. Just amazing! Plus the fireworks from Disney you get to watch it by the parking lot! Best view even better than downtown Disney. Whew! Definitely coming back and will share this amazing experience with family and friends! SERVICE: treated like the Queen and King! Thank you to all the staff, Jose our server and the amazing Chefs! Wow!!! Being a prairie girl from Canada, and being that I've had my fair share of sushi. Nothing beats this fresh, delicious, straight from the ocean, sushi!!! Holy moly, so, very good! Tender, tasty, melt in your mouth, deliciousness!!!

Not only was the food amazing but the service was the best service! From being seated to having a wonderful waitor who made our experience wonderful!

I want to shout out Ratib! He served my family and did a great job with A+ service! I would come here again for the fresh tasting sushi, exquisite plating, and on top of the line service!

The sushi here is hands down the best sushi I've ever had. This is up there with my experience having sushi in Tokyo. What a gem of a find. Don't be surprised if this place blows up in popularity. We went here for dinner on back to back days because it was so good just had to go back for more!

Love the setting and the food. Our server German was excellent. I tried his recommendations and they were on point. He also came and filled my sake cup every time it was low. Very attentative. Food was excellent especially the Hirame Sashimi. Love the place, the food, the service, and the experience.
