The castle looks like a fairytale and if you go inside and walk around you will find the story of Sleeping Beauty. It's a beautiful and magical place so take it in and enjoy it. Just sitting on the outside and admiring it during the day or night is a treat. We were here for the special event: Sweetheart's Night, a Valentine's Day celebration.

The icon of Disneyland. The walkthrough though leaves a bit to be desired but is still a must do. Great for getting out of the hot summer sun.

So epic. The castle is really the heart of Disneyland and makes it what it is today. The light displays at night really make the castle special too. The light shows change seasonally too. You gotta get a picture here if you come to Disney, it’s basically a rite of passage.

After all these years, the castle is so iconic and brings that magical feel of Disney at The Disney Magic Kingdom at Orlando, Florida. Nice walk through with floor to ceiling portraits using mosaic tiles.

One of the best things in the Disney parks is the castle. Out of all the 4 Disney Parks we have been to this is the smallest but it is truly magical.

The Sleeping Beauty Castle is the icon castle of Disneyland. Still set up in a walkthrough format, you can see the some of the various scenes displayed as murals on the castle wall as you walk though it. As you exit into Fantasyland you'll see a small statue of Princess Aurora and her beloved prince. Sleeping Beauty castle is the most photographed icon in Disneyland and people wait a good while to get photo pass photographers to take pictures as well as their "magic shots." Sometimes it's easier to get someone to snap your picture and you can repay them the favor. The castle is not real big however, it conveys the lovelyness of the fairy tale as shown. Celebrating the 100th anniversary, the castle is decked out to commerate that. At nighttime projections are placed on the castle in as part of the fireworks show. It can get very crowded to see those however, if you are just looking to see the fireworks then there are other places you can go. Disneyland keeps the simplistic charm of still being able to walk through the castle and gives you the feeling of royalty. After all it is a place where in your mind "dreams really do come true!"

Good looking castle with moat and all. They best part of the castle is the walkthrough. You go through old stairs through the castle to dioramas of the sleeping beauty story. It got a makeover and it was sad because the previous dioramas were very cool and old school style. For folks with disabilities there is a little room with a video of what it looks like going through.

Awesome little storytelling set to walk through, contains windowed scenes describing the story of Sleeping Beauty, accompanied by sounds and music. Very dark but it adds to the atmosphere

The Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, is a must-see attraction for fans of the classic Disney film. Visitors to the attraction can explore the castle's interior, and see scenes from the story of Sleeping Beauty brought to life in stunning detail. The attraction begins with a journey through the castle's lower level, where visitors can see a variety of dioramas depicting scenes from the film. These dioramas are highly detailed and feature a variety of special effects, including lighting, sound, and animation. Visitors can see the fairies Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather preparing for Princess Aurora's birthday party, as well as Maleficent's curse and the princess's eventual awakening. As visitors ascend the castle's spiral staircase, they can see a variety of medieval-inspired tapestries and paintings, as well as a stunning stained glass window depicting the story of Sleeping Beauty. The castle's upper level features a variety of interactive elements, including a spinning wheel that visitors can turn to awaken the princess, as well as a variety of hidden surprises and Easter eggs. Throughout the attraction, visitors can also enjoy the castle's stunning architecture and design. The castle is based on a variety of European castles from the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods, and features a variety of ornate details and intricate carvings. Visitors can also enjoy stunning views of Disneyland Park and the surrounding area from the castle's upper level, making it a great spot for photos and selfies. Overall, the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough is a highly immersive and entertaining attraction that is suitable for visitors of all ages. It is a great way to experience the classic Disney film in a new and exciting way, and is a must-see for any fan of Sleeping Beauty or Disneyland Park.

Many don't even know this exists, well it's just a small walkthrough of the tale of Sleeping Beauty. It's actually quite nice, the combination or still photo and small animation makes each scene pop. When passing by the lovely gates you turn left as you are entering the other side. Another hidden gem is the Snow White and the Seven dwarfs waterfall. It is located to the right of castle on a side path. If you time it right you can hear her sing. I love Mulan, if i could marry i would, but no princess will ever de-throne the first princess. The waterfall is truly a small reminder that she is the fairest of them all.

Though smaller than all of the castles in other Disney amusment parks, this one has its charm. Knowing that it is the original Disney castle justifies it size. Walking through the sleeping beauty castle and seeing all of fantasyland is one of the best feelings ever. If it is open you must at least stop by to admire it.

Such a visually iconic piece of Disneyland. Hands down my favorite thing to see here is the fireworks show over the castle. As of May 2023 the fireworks show is the best I’ve ever seen! It’s super busy obviously, so arrive early to get a decent space

Sleeping Beauty Castle is a fairy tale castle at the center of Disneyland and formerly at Hong Kong Disneyland. It is based on the late-19th century Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany. It appeared in the Walt Disney Pictures title card from 1985 to 2006 before being merged with Cinderella Castle, both iconic symbols of The Walt Disney Company. The version at Disneyland is the only Disney castle whose construction was overseen by Walt Disney. ❤❤

Very cute and very short, there was so much awesome scenes to see. The stair well was a tad steep at times, although they were not too terrible with all the railing and stopping points to see the scenes from the story. Best to walk slow through it anyways as there is so many unique details you may miss out on and lots of pages of the story to read. Even if your not a fan, worth the walk through.

Love Sleeping Beauty's Castle. The new colors are so nice. We like walking through and reading the story. It's hard to get a great picture because there are so many people but the employees are really helpful. I most like the golden spike driven in the ground, it is one of 2 that they used to layout main street and keep it straight

So tiny… Very disappointed, as I thought it would be more majestic! The one in Paris is way bigger and stunning.

I guess you could say this is the trademark location of Disneyland. Looks great with the fireworks going off at night but I believe during the daytime hours it could be more interactive for the little ones instead of just walking thru. You can walk in the inside of the castle but that is short and sweet with not too much to look at.

It's so beautiful, clean, and magical both during the day and night but at night is just incredible with all the lights.

Very cute and dreamy. The diorama gallery inside is so pretty and a fair tribute to the esthetically-perfect Sleeping Beauty.

I could see this castle a little ahead of the entrance, it is very beautiful. But at night, it looks great and better. The colors of the castle change 🏰 a few hours. I recommend you go to this castle at night. This castle is the most popular here.
