Its a great hiking trail. It offers few hiking paths, so you can pick based on your interest. The path next to the river is the easiest one, pretty much flat. Lots of birds to see along the hiking paths. There is also an small set of old mining facilities which is interesting to see. There is restroom and seating area at the entrance next to the parking lot. The parking is free.

What a wonderful hidden gem. Amazing trails with beautiful foliage. Trees provide wonderful shade, lots of benches on trails to sit and enjoy the scenery. Great place for kids as they have little attractions here and there for them to play with. Lots of families go here. Free parking in this area, although it's not that big a lot. The longest highest trail we hiked is the Roadrunner Ridge.

Gorgeous location for an outdoor wedding! I photographed one here in July, and the trees provided lots of much-needed shade for the hot weather. Trails are wide and relatively flat, so very easy to walk on in wedding attire. The amphitheater is a great blank canvas to decorate however you'd like, and the trees provide such a beautiful, natural backdrop! If your wedding is in the spring or summer, just bring some bug spray as there were quite a few gnats around that love sweat ;)

This trail is basically in my backyard. It offers trails and walks near the stream. Today, there was a day camp for kids. It was fun to watch them, before walking the stream trail back home.

Just discovered one of my favorite spots to wander. You can even have your wedding here. Great day camps for kids.

We come here often. Peaceful, fairly easy hikes. Shady places to get out of the heat. There are lots of birds to spot like falcons, hawks and vultures. When the nature center office is open, you can see several animals inside. I've learned so much about our local plants and wildlife here. Great place to take kids. Depending on the staff you encounter, they may or may not know nature-type questions. They also offer programs for kids in the summer and throughout the year they have night hikes for all ages.

I came here for a wedding. It was beautiful and peaceful. There is a stage with benches to sit and watch the ceremony. The nature center can provide microphones and speakers. Very clean. Looks like a nice place to hike, too, as I saw many people with their families walking through. From what I observed, it looks like they also offer personal guides if you like. The staff that I met was very friendly.

Such a beautiful, easy, relaxing, and tranquil walk. The grounds are well kept, and paths are easy to follow. We had a stroller and were able to access every part.

This was a place I was taken to as a kid by my mom, now I finally had the chance to take my daughter. I always loved it, and it seemed she did as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on this visit, was because the visitor center was closed and that was one of the highlights in the day. They also had construction on one of the trails with a fence blocking the trail, and nothing on the map to identify it. It was still a great trip and an amazing experience to share with my own child.

This place is a nature gem! Easy trails for the whole family and love that they have bathrooms and picnic tables. Such a cool place to get outside and see all sorts of animals. They have a map to help you know where the trails are and where they lead too.

The ONLY reason it doesn't get a 5 star is because Dogs aren't allowed. Otherwise awesome place for some great trail hiking easy to moderate.

We were in the area for an evening meeting and found this nature center to spend a quick 45 minutes prior to dinner. It's a beautiful preserve with clean hiking trails. We didn't get to see the whole thing, but would like to return one day when we're back. One suggestion is to help new visitors navigate the trails a bit better. Using the map, we weren't always sure where we were. A few more trail signs would help. Good job keeping this space clean and green!

Great hiking location for beginners and kids friendly. There are activities and events that you can participate. Decent amount of shade around the trail and bench that you can sit as well. Also there is water fountain and restroom right next to the parking lot. It is free and there is a donation box at the front office.

Loved it! Great place to be in nature and get a good work out in. You can’t go wrong with nature. It’s a great place to go with your family or even a date!

This is a really nice nature area that I didn’t even know was here. I think there is only one sign along the road, but once you drive past the golf course and stuff you’ll be able to park fairly easily and immediately get on the trail. I wasn’t able to explore the whole area, but what I did see was very nice and felt reasonably secluded unlike some of the other parks which are closer to major streets etc. Large oak trees are everywhere, and there was a creek with water and ducks (which I assume is usually dry). There were some outdoor exhibits about old mining equipment and nature too. I’ll be back soon to see the rest.

Absolutely gorgeous location for an outside ceremony. Using nature's beauty made it easy for simple decorations to go a long way. It was also great that they have bench seating, so there is no hassle renting and placing chairs. We did the Reception at the Clubhouse a block away. This was great for timing a nice indoor Reception that wasn't far from the ceremony. Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. We highly recommend!

I love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a child for special occasions. I even had my 8th birthday party here. I absolutely fell in love with this place. I love that now as an adult I can come here when ever I want. I brought my boyfriend here who is a veteran; he has a hard time relaxing and I could tell he felt so peaceful here.
