Almost like walking on a boardwalk Pixar Pier is modeled after the beaches' boardwalk carnival extensions that head over the water. There is a midway area complete with games and prizes. Rides in this area include Pixar pal around and Incredicoaster, Jessie's critter carousel, and Inside out emotional whirlwind. There are also fast food places for snacks, churros, and the Lamplight lounge for sit down dining. There is a sitting area near Incredicoaster that is in a rooftop open air shelter where you can get out of the sun and relax a bit. There really isn't any shade in this area so any place to get out of the heat is a welcome relief. Have a look at some of the Boardwalk style signs as you walk around the pier. They are fascinating and have catchy phrases. Course you can always catch the iconic Mickey Mouse circle right in the middle of the Pixar Pal around. It's a great place to get some nice photos. CA Adventure's World of color one takes place here which is their nightime entertainment. This is also home to the seasonal Ogie Boogie bash during Halloween. Since a lot of the attractions are meant for children expect to see large crowds here. Yet your day at CA Adventure would not be complete without walking through it and seeing it. Great family filled area in the park!

A great place to stroll through the California boardwalk style theme. From a great rollercoaster ride, Incredicoaster - Previously California Screamin' - Toy Story Midway Mania - Silly Symphony Swings - Emotional Whirlwind - Goofy's Sky School - Jumpin' Jellyfish and plenty of carnival style games to enjoy. Food, plenty of options, from boardwalk treats to pizza and pasta. Mediterranian grill - Lamplight Lounge - Adorable Snowman Frosty Treats. Plenty of shops and Don't forget about the World Of Color. Great must see spot.

Truly a great addition to the park. They did a great job modifying everything while keeping it true to what it was before. They also added some cute themed kiddie rides, so with the loss of a Bug’s Land for the little ones you gain this adorable area. :) the snack stands are so cute, too!

The new Pixar pier is really awesome and all of the new re-done sites are pretty amazing I love how they add them know and incredicoaster!! If you want to get on make sure you get a fast pass early in the morning as well as for Cars at radiator springs, those two are the most popular rides at California adventure. Well done Disney!

Incredicoaster is alot of fun, and lines were faster than posted. Pixar Pal A'Round (giant Mickey wheel) was fun, but waits were MUCH LONGER than posted (posted 20 minutes, but took 45minutes to get on).

Disneyland's Pixar Pier is really great for the kids, They added new rides and updated the area. The Incredicoaster and the Cars are the most popular and fun.

A great part of California adventure. Pixar Pier is usually pretty busy like the rest of the park. I really enjoy the giant Ferris wheel. It’s just super iconic and really is the face of California adventure. The snacks are pretty good as well. The incredicoaster is pretty iconic and fun as well.

Pixar pier does bring a fresh start to Disney California park. There is a water feature right at the Center that brings freshness to the experience. The you could hear screams from the incredible-coaster that makes the park all the more thrilling and exciting!!

Lamplight lounge is amazing!!! Deff hit mission breakout! Wonderful place and great vacations. I would recommend when the small temporary stands are out to have a good plan before attending the park because the lines for temporary food stands are terrible. Like REALLY terrible. World of Color is fantastic and worth catching every time!! (or use that time if you have seen it enough to get to rides with shorter lines) I miss soaring california tho… it was better than soaring over the world… by far.

Disney California Adventure is an awesome theme park to attend to just get away with friends and family on a worthwhile all expenses paid. It's expensive but a fun trip. I been here for the first time back in October of 2022. I came here on a Tuesday. They are lucky to be neighbors of other Disney park called Disneyland.

There are a lot of picture-worthy locations, rides, performers, and other stalls for visitors of all ages. At nighttime, it's even more vibrant and colorful with the neon lights and the scheduled light shows.

Goofy sky schools tight turns at the beginning makes you feel like your gonna fall off the track, scenery makes everything obvious. Incredicoaster’s launch is insane. Stay around for the loop de loop. And the Ferris wheel swinging side gives me a amazing view and a scary ride.🤗

    1. Easy access to BOTH parks which includes a private entrance for Pixar Pier guests for California Adventure. This access is located directly across the hotel. The Disneyland access is from The Grand Hotel which is also directly across the hotel. Both accesses require your hotel key card. 2. Amazing hotel and lobby staff 3. Amazing fireworks and California Adventure views. They have a special roof top deck viewing area for fireworks. This comes in handy if you don't want to stay at the parks to watch them. 4. Very chill and quiet environment (which is great when you have been at the busy parks all day) 5. Older esthetics (they will be updating this hotel soon) 6. No restaurants but it has a self serve snack and drinks area for purchase. This was great for grabbing breakfast on the go! 7. The elevator is a bit tricky and has a different system. You select your level number on the screen and then it tells you which elevator to use. So during check in time it was busy but other than that it was ok. Overall we enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay there again!

Pixar pier is always a good time! Unfortunately they were doing maintenance on the world of color mechanism while I was there so the water was drained but the pier itself is great. Awesome food and a fantastic ambiance.
