Definitely recommend this attraction in California Adventure, especially for younger kids. But it's great for kids at heart as well! Good thing to do that's in the shade, and you can spend time here while waiting for another ride. This is a good spot to burn off some energy, or have the little ones burn off some energy! You'll want to check this out.

Forest themed play area aimed at younger kids offers a variety of activities such as bridges, rock climbing, zip line, caves and Ranger Stations. Offers a quiet getaway from the noise and crowds. Good for a quick half hour break to let kids work of some energy.

Do you need to tire out the youngins? Are you looking for a refreshing place to relax for a few minutes? Do you want to capture a photo with a beloved Up Character? This is your place. An amazing play area for children, which lovely places to sit, and plenty of character interactions. The unsung jem of California Adventure.

This area is a fantastic place for kids young and old to run around and explore. There are many activities for kids and adults, like slides, suspension bridges, rock wall and rope net paths. During the Festival of Holidays (mid-November to early January), there are fun holiday activities to do, like looking for hidden presents to solve a riddle, decorating cookies and meeting Santa Claus! We have a tradition to visit here each year!

Great "obstacle" courses for the young ones, from zip lines, to ropes, to easy rock climbing. Even get a guide to cross off each activity and your youngster is rewarded with a sticker at the end. Not as crowded as the rides, and a good place to rest while your kid(s) might tire themselves out.

Much like Tom Sawyer Island this is a wonderful play area for the younger kids. With so many candid photo opportunities with some stunning backdrops. Our kids had a ball! Oh and don't forget about the Redwood Ceremony if you complete the challenge. 😊

Just a fun place for the young and young at heart to relax and explore the Redwood forest without having to make an extra car trip. The caverns, rope bridges, and trails were fun to explore. A great place to take your kids for tiring them out. The location also has some breathtaking photo spots.

Great place for kids of the right height. The only bad part is that you really need to watch your kids closely as they can quickly get away from you as there are so many things to do. The good news is that there is only one way in and one way out. Kids love the tire swing and the ropes course.

A magical place!! Such happy memories!! It really looks a bit like the real deal and is reminiscent of beloved trips to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. I only wish that there was a parallel experience for bigger kids and adults on the "challenge" portion of the trail (i.e., the Zip Line). So hard on the children when they're "too tall" to still be allowed to enjoy this wonderful and healthy/athletic experience! So sad to see them turned away when they are still so young yet taller than other kids their age. C'mon Disney!! Have a heart and design it for kids of ALL AGES! Adults and older kids really need MORE opportunities to get off the sofa, unplug from computers/video games, and get some sunshine, fresh air, and exercise!! After all, isn't this attraction supposed to be encouraging folks to get outdoors and commune with nature? Telling kids that as they grow up they shouldn't play, but only stand and watch—it's kind of sending them a mixed message, don't you think?
