I stayed for the first time at Ayers Anaheim hotel. I actually hadn't even heard of this hotel, I selected it due to its close proximity to Angel stadium. It was easy walking distance. I would say about 1/2 mile and took between 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace. Once there, the room was ready for an early check in. About 2pm. Every employee I had contact with seemed happy and enjoyed being at work. The room was clean and comfortable. They provided a small refrigerator and microwave. The A/C kept the room cool with minimal noise from the unit. The hot breakfast was basic with sausage, eggs and potatoes but it did the job and was included with the stay. The chef who prepared the food every morning was pleasant and cheerful even though it was quite busy at times. The only negative for me was the weak water pressure in the shower. Ayers hotel will be one of the hotels I look at first while visiting Anaheim, especially if going to Angel stadium or Honda arena which is even closer.

We had never stayed at an Ayres Hotel before, so we were a little anxious about our accommodations for our Disneyland vacation. Well, we need not have worried because it was a great experience. The room was large and clean, the beds were comfortable, the free hot breakfast was delicious and filling, and the service, all the way from the front desk to housekeeping, was fantastic. One especially bright spot was Jose who served us breakfast most mornings. He has worked for the company for over 20 years and he was terrific. One small thing to watch out for: This hotel charges $1.00 for each phone call made from its hotel phone. Just for fun - our youngest made several phone calls to our cell phones from the hotel phone and we ended up being charged for this. Not a big deal, but a very small detractor from an otherwise perfect experience.

Lovely great value hotel which I have stayed at on a number of occasions. One of my go to hotels in the area, very friendly staff, large comfortable rooms and breakfast is included in the room rate, buffet style with plenty of choice. There is a parking lot but there is a charge, some rates may include parking. At the time of staying (June 2022), there was a package which included a discount and free parking on presentation of a Disney admission ticket. Located opposite the railroad station.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, it was a pleasant stay in a convenient location. The hotel is a bit dated, but kept well, and the staff are kind and accommodating. Pros: - (mostly) clean room - spacious - convenient area - friendly, masked staff - decent amenities - included continental breakfast Cons: - parking is $10/day on top of the price of the room - room cleanliness: the headboard had weird sticky spots like someone had splashed tea or soda, the curtains had a substantial what looked to be a blood stain they attempted to wash, judging by the color, the carpet had a few odd stains - odd flickering horror movie lights every time we turn them on - “hotel room smell” you know the one

Stayed at the Ayers Hotel in Anaheim during our family vacation to Disneyland. The hotel was clean and we were impressed with the professionalism of their staff from the check-in clerk to the cleaning crew and breakfast servers. The hotel is a close driving distance to Disneyland and the nightly parking is $ 10. It was in an area that was not crowded since there were no events at the convention centers. Even though it is close to the freeway, it was quiet. The rooms were very cleand and the bed was confortable. The daily complementary breakfast was great. I was impressed! Will stay there again.

What a refreshing experience! This hotel is ran very well and a step above any other hotel out there right now. Most hotels won’t even come in to check your room during your seat. Our room was clean upon arrival and was cleaned and had fresh linens by the time we got back from Disneyland the next day. We got two connecting rooms to fit our big family, which worked out great! Ayers takes great care of their building and their guests. The European style is different than most hotels that have gone to a basic modern look. It’s a very comfortable hotel with great service. We haven’t found another hotel this well ran in Anaheim. It will now be our first choice. It’s a little far from the park to walk, but we did the ART shuttle pass that works okay. It’s no fault if the hotel but it needs improvement since California shut down due to the pandemic and hasn’t been able to flip the switch back on for public transportation. The hotel was very good about calling the shuttle and asking them to come get us when needed.

Great hotel, we stayed for one night so we could walk to our room after a concert at the Honda Center. Cannot recommend this plan enough, it's a great location with clean rooms nice beds qnd ice cold ac. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was convenient. If I had to nitpick, the freeway noise didn't make the pool area very relaxing so we stayed in our room. The priority was walking distance from the arena so we didn't have unrealistic expectations in this area. Anytime we see a show here in Anaheim, we will book a room at the Ayres.

Im sure some of the staff is kind, but the man I dealt with at the front desk was extremely pleased with himself by not helping me. Also fyi, they charge for your whole stay upon arrival. Never dealt with a hotel that charges that way. I’m used to the standard hold and then charge at checkout. The same man tried to tell me every hotel is this way a was very condescending and rude about it. Also, it was a little musty. Kind of a strange smell. Good breakfast though.

Very good customer service and breakfast. Things are clean and feel cozy. To help other guests with the TV channels.... the channel guides are 10-1, 17-1, 30-1, and 50-1. Each guide shows different channel stations and 17-1 is only 1 page so it doesn't scroll. 17-1 is movie channel guide 30-1 is regular cable channel guide A smart TV would make this room complete. Hope this saves someone some time with figuring out the TV. 😆

We stayed all week a the Ayres for a little Disney vaca. First impressions very friendly staff very clean hotel. Let us pick the floor which was great. Loved the parking lot was watched and safe. Loved the art bus stop was right outside and on demand which made the whole trip that much less stressful. Breakfast was just like any hotel breakfast nothing amazing. I took 1 start away for a couple small details. I don’t ever use the coffee makers in the room because they are never cleaned and who knows what people brew in them. I wish they would have offered coffee earlier then 6 ad later in the day. Coffee togo cups have really weak bottoms and after 20mins the bottom will give out. The last night my 10yr old found chucks of glass in the hot tub and they didn’t seemed to concerned. Did notice the staff in the am would be having conversations that were personal conversations and didn’t seem to mind me sitting in the lobby waiting for coffee listening to their personal lives. Lastly the hotel felt safe but our room door was the only door in the floor that looked like it had been pried open with something at some point made us have that uncomfortable feeling the whole stay.

stay at this hotel because I have to go to NCT Dream concert at Honda Center, nice place and really spacious. it was really easy to go to Honda Center because it's only across the street, you could go from the side door not front door for closest way to the traffic light! you could get in from the same door again but you have to use your card key. american breakfast in the morning, the staff is really nice. they got pancake, scrambled egg and bacon ; you can even take it to go if you want! they have a tip jar here so you could leave a tip if you'd like. just be mindful it's kinda noisy because it's near the street.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Ayres Hotel with our three kids, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. I have to start with the breakfast – it was hands down our favorite part of our stay. The chef, Jose Llamas, went above and beyond in making our dining experience exceptional. Not only was the food outstanding, but it was also restaurant-quality, which was unexpected for a buffet-style breakfast. I would gladly pay for that kind of culinary delight. Now, let's talk about the bacon – it was, without a doubt, the best bacon I've ever had, and the pancakes were simply perfection, light, fluffy, with that delightful crisp on the edges. I'm not exaggerating when I say this; it's the truth. Chef Jose's skills in the kitchen are remarkable, and they truly made our mornings special. But it's not just about the food; it's about the whole experience Chef Jose provided. His hospitality and personality were outstanding. He was incredibly friendly and genuinely warm, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. It's rare to find someone who can make breakfast such a memorable experience. When we plan our next trip to Orange County, there's no question where we'll be staying – it's going to be the Ayres Hotel, specifically for Chef Jose's breakfast. In fact, I believe he deserves a raise for making our stay so unforgettable. Thank you, Chef Jose, for setting the bar so high!

We decided to stay here because we love Ayres Hotels. After reading numerous reviews and trusting the brand, we thought it would be a perfect hotel for our Disney trip. Unfortunately, we had a different experience. My wife and I requested a room with a king bed. However, we found it odd that the front desk staff suggested to add an extra bed. My wife must be better looking than I am. It’s never been suggested, so it was a bit strange and we were bit taken back by the comment. This property is being remodeled and guests are advised to keep curtains shut for privacy. The room was very spacious and comfortable with 2 tiny trash cans in the room. I don’t know if this location use to be another brand but this is not what we are used to with the Ayres brand. Parking is $15 with in and out privileges. Plenty of handicap spots and big parking spaces for big trucks or trailers. Both entrances to the 57 are on the right side of the road before the hotel If you get distracted, you find yourself driving in circles. It is loud. This property is off the highway. You can hear cars all night and I have severe hearing loss! Even without my hearing aids, the rumbling and vibration kept us up past midnight. They do have a security guard onsite. Breakfast - they don’t offer to-go plates like other Ayres locations. The gentleman attending breakfast expects you to know what is being served. When my wife asked, he said only what was in front of him was available. When certain guests approached, he offered them omelettes. Most of the breakfast was burnt and awful. Probably won’t come back to this location.

Love this place. Stay here for the first time in 2003. Service is great. The free breakfast is delicious. Jose cooks up some fantastic pancakes and scrambled eggs. I wish all hotels would take care of their guest as good as The Ayers.

This hotel was a very nice surprise. We booked it because we were seeing a show at Honda Center and it is literally across the road. Our expectations were low and everything was so much nicer than we expected, from the comfortable beds to the convenient parking and delicious breakfast. My new favorite hotel in Anaheim! 😁

Nice hotel across the HONDA CENTER. COMFY beds and deep tub to relax and bathe.. has a mini station equipped with a mini fridge and a microwave. INTELLIGENT move on the hotel to make the room key what activates the power to the room super impressed..

Beds are worn out now. Breakfast buffet is not such a good variety like before. Best Western have a better Breakfast and cheaper rooms with comfortable beds. They have lost there style of keeping everything organized.

GREAT HOTEL!!! The location was amazing. Booked here for my graduation which was right across the street from the Honda Center! Food places in the area. Service was great! Will definitely come back!

Great staff, friendly and very helpful. We picked this hotel primarily for the location. Concerts at the Honda Center are so much easier when you're staying across the street. You don't have to worry about parking or traffic since the hotel is a 2 minute walk. Rooms were clean with comfy beds. Staff was fantastic with all requests and made the stay even better.

We chose this hotel based on location. We wanted to be able to walk to Angel's stadium, and we wanted to be further from Disney. The hotel was very clean. Our room had a bit of a musty smell to it and felt humid. We kept turning the air on to get rid of the humidity, but the air coming out of the AC unit smelled musty. The bathroom had a weird odor too. You have to put your key card in a slot on the wall in order to have power. So if you leave and take your key, the air won't run. The bed was very comfortable. I liked that housekeeping would come every day. I was worried about noise because the hotel is so close to the highway, but it was actually very quiet. They seem to have a large breakfast but we didn't go during our stay.

Chose this hotel because of the proximity to Honda Center - it's directly across the street, a few minutes walk. We checked in right at 3 pm. The front desk clerk was very polite and asked if a 1st floor room was okay and then gave us a higher floor as requested. Parking costs $10 which was a little disappointing. We had a two queen room which included fridge, microwave, small bar area, and a partial wall divider between beds. The front desk forgot to tell us the electricity to the room required a room key to be placed in a wall slot so we had to call down for assistance. Also, the thermostat in the room was a slide slider (not digital which is surprising given their concern for electricity consumption) so the room was always too hot or too cold. But the room was clean and had a nice large soaking tub which was put to good use. Breakfast is prepared by a chef and you aren't allowed to take food out of the dining area. We (myself and other guests) apparently interrupted the chef flirting with a new employee and he wasn't very friendly until after she'd finished eating and left. Once she did, he offered pancakes cooked to order, which looked very good, and gave more than the 2 slices of bacon I practically had to beg for. He had a bag of breakfast potatoes sitting out next to the griddle so not everything was fresh cooked but it did taste good and there were all the standard breakfast options. I would stay here again for the cleanliness and proximity. I would've given 5 stars if not for the parking fees, outdated thermostat, and chef's attitude.

Jason is amazing! I cancel a reservation at another hotel because they didn’t fulfill the request I had for a king size bed and a low door. My stay was from Wednesday to Monday. Jason, at Ayers, gave me a great deal and understood how frustrated I was with the other hotel. Great service, nice people, and very comfortable rooms!

Chose this hotel because it was close to Disneyland and Knotts. It was my first time staying here and am happy with my choice. It was reasonably priced, clean, provided a FREE buffet style breakfast which included: eggs, pancakes, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, muffins, fresh fruit, milk, juice, coffee and more! The lady making the breakfast was very friendly which I appreciated. This hotel had great overall customer service! The room smelled clean as I walked in. It had a mini kitchenette that had a sink, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and a table for two. The room I reserved had a king bed with a sofa bed plus coffee table. There were linens and an extra pillow for the sofa bed. It was a very comfortable stay and will make future reservations. Note that parking is $10 which I felt was fair and still cheap in my opinion.

The people were nice and everything at this hotel was good. The room, TV stations, breakfast, and amenities were all perfect. If I look for a complaint it's that they don't have all the food and drinks at the concierge that a convenience store does, but of course they don't. I was impressed enough to write this review, which is a wow from me.

What an amazing set of staff at this hotel. The hotel is a little older, sure, but it was incredibly clean. You can smell the cleanliness of the sheets the moment you walk into a room, and not a spot or hair in the bathrooms. The pool is great, location is great, I can't say nice enough things about this place. I was a little skeptical of some of the reviews speaking of the musty odors, as I have sensitive senses, but it really didn't bother me. There was a slight older hotel room smell, but I mostly smelt the cleaning products (in a good way). The air conditioner didn't have an odor, which I find most hotels do, the hallways didn't have an outstanding smell one way or another, and the lobby just smelt like pool and the buffet area. The rooms had some minor issues: yes, some stains on the floor, some of the lampshades and curtains were not in great shape, but the rest of the room was so well kept, it really didn't bother me. Most hotels have carpet stains of some type...it's a hotel. Whether you see them or not, you don't want to know what's really there. The curtains, same. I've stayed in Fairmont's with stained/holey curtains. What does it really matter? It was only the blackout curtains that had this issue in our room anyway, and it was a few marks which could have come from a dryer to be honest. Overall, the bed and pillows were not of my personal preference in terms of softness (they were too soft for me), but still super clean and comfortable, and high quality. The buffet was a relief. The meal is served to you with a few self-service stations, but I was really impressed with the quality for a free buffet. Usually, you don't get the greatest options and the food is less than edible, but this was not the case here. The staff were outstanding. Staff at the front desk were great. They were super helpful with reassurance of area go-to's for restaurants and the ART bus option for Disney. I heard from others that the area was not great and a little rough, but I didn't find this at all. I felt safe enough to walk to and from the hotel at night, coming from a restaurant area to the east, but I was with my husband. Don't think I would walk around alone at night, but that could be said about any city. The area was so close to Disney, walking back to the hotel one night, we stopped at the Honda center parking lot to view the fireworks. If you're on the west side of the hotel and a higher floor, you can probably get a great view of the show. In addition, if you have a car, there's everything from an In N Out to Trader Joes about 10 mins away from the hotel to the NE. The pool had a great little area and hot tub that was welcoming after a long day of walking. It has trees around it to catch some needed shade as well. It's small, but if you go during non-peak hours/days, you can grab it all to yourself and have a great time. I highly recommend this hotel, will be returning and I didn't want to leave. Anaheim is awesome and this hotel really improved my experience.

Ayres hotels in general is one of my favorite place to stay. We often choose this one, particularly, because it's close to Anaheim ice skating rink and Disneyland. Spacious, clean, and classical decor interior, which is nice.

Fabulous experience. Only missing a bar in the lobby. Incredibly delicious breakfast buffet. Beautiful large rooms. The most helpful and friendly front desk staff. Loved it

It was a really nice hotel. The beds were great. I slept well. The showers were spacious with enough room for two. The pool and spa were very nice to cool off in on a hot day. The spa felt great at night. Breakfast actually has a cook. Cooking up eggs, hash browns, pancakes, sausage, bacon.... They had several juices, cereal, coffee..... cream. Perfect.

Had a pretty good stay here when I went here for Disneyland on the 4th of July. The rooms looked nice and the staff were pretty good. It's right next to a freeway (or highway) but, you can't really hear it from the rooms (at least the room we were in). My family comes here often when we go to Disneyland. One thing that wasn't the hotel's fault but, I thought I should share anyway is that there was this huge crash outside and it happened as soon as the automatic doors opened. They also have breakfast until about 10 a.m. Good place to stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! It is my go to location when we go to Disneyland!! Impeccable staff, immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, very affordable, a generous breakfast, beautiful decor, & the list goes on! Not to mention they have gone above and beyond for both times we stayed for both of my daughters 5th birthdays!!! Both times we stayed there, they had Balloons in the room, gorgeous flowers, favorite candies & they made my girls feel like royalty!!! I highly recommend you stay here, you will not regret it!
