I've had some great nights at the Hearthstone Lounge. It's a smaller place, and that's part of the charm. There are a couple quiet nooks for conversation, and plenty of comfortable seating for groups. My preference is to sit at the bar. The service is excellent, the selection is good, and the decor cannot be beat. It's a great place for a drink.

This is a nice spot to stop and take a break from the parks. Be aware it is quite expensive. The food was delicious and the drinks were well-made but the service was atrocious. I could almost understand if the bar was full but it was empty when I was there. I had to ask more than once for my drink order. The food took more than 45 minutes even though I ordered A fruit plate and a cheese and meat plate. I don’t feel like it was up to Disney standards.

You are tired. You’ve been at Disneyland/California Adventure since opening at 8AM. It’s 5PM and you need a drink and want to sit down. When Carthay Circle & Lamplight won’t seat you right away and the wait is too long…THIS IS THE PLACE. I love it here! The cocktails are 🧑‍🍳💋. Cheese & charcuterie hit the spot. Do it.

Thought this place would be great for breakfast. Boy, was I wrong. $75 for breakfast that was delivered in a greasy cardboard box. The box was designed to be ripped open into a plate. People will forget what they say but they don't forget how they made them feel

Another great bar located just outside DCA and Disneyland. Things are picking back up so it was quite busy but we were lucky enough to get a seat Saturday night. Vodka Martini was tasty and even though it was a single my mom said the vodka club soda was mighty strong (she said the bartender did not have a light handed pour). The avocado burrata toast was light and tasty, the pomegranate drizzle sounded strange at first but gave the toast a nice tart twist. Fries were seasoned and double fried and my hubby said they were tasty. The pepperoni pizza was nice, crispy light crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The pepperoni had a good kick but not too spicy. I really great service, especially for as crowded as it was, and great late night food and drink!

I had breakfast here today and it was really good. I got the brioche French toast with berries. They were a little slow preparing the food and the atmosphere is not the best in the world, but the food was really good.

Sat down at a table and was not greeted at all. I waited patiently just incase the servers were busy but After 30 mins I left.

Great spot to relax away from the craziness of the parks. We didn't dine, only had drinks but enjoyed the break and our wonderful server, Valentina.

Went here a few times during my 4 day stay at Grand Californian. Service was terrible every single time that I went, my group would sit for 10+ minutes before we were even acknowledged... The wings are amazing, definitely get those. Impossible burger was really meh. Would not recommend. This place is definitely understaffed. Our waitress was sweet but she was one of two servers in a packed restaurant.

Great location, tasty food and drinks. If you want to chill out from the parks for a bit, this place is the best

Found two seats at the bar and enjoyed the bourbon flight and the chicken quesadilla! Both were delicious! I liked the crispy cheese on the outside of the quesadilla and the Knob Creek Disney exclusive bourbon is soo good! Service was prompt and attentive as you’d expect.

Such a disappointing and un Disney like experience. It took 35 minutes just to get water. From seating to eating we waited a full hour, and then the food was terrible! My medium rare burger was well done and had some strange mayo that tasted like it had taco seasoning in it that was not in the description. Our waiter said no one ever likes the burger. He offered to have it redone for me but I was too hungry and just ate it. My friend ordered the grilled cheese which she said she could barely cut through with a knife. Our cocktails were kind of weird...trying too hard. The room was freezing. Everyone was wearing their jackets and coats and looking uncomfortable. It took another 20 minutes to get our check. We spent an hour and forty miserable minutes on a meal that wasn't cheap or satisfying. I said something to a friend who loves Disney and is there all the time and she said she could have told me the restaurant would be bad. Sigh. So warning to the next person: skip it! Walk over to Tangaroa Terrace or Balast Point. Both have better food and far better service.

Love dining here. The dining area is big enough to seat a pretty good amount of people, however is small enough to still be low key. We went there for dinner. I had the Blackberry Bramble (alcohol) to drink. It was a good drink. I wish it came in a larger glass as it is a small drink, but it was strong, so that’s a good trade off. For dinner I had the Flaky Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich. It was a good sandwich. The chicken was very soft and moist. I’d order it again.

The Old Fashion is very whisky forward with maraschino instead of orange/ citrus. Good lighting too so you can see

We had a wonderful time here! The food was delicious! I ordered the chicken tenders which came with very yummy honey mustard dip AND a really fun and yummy truffle mayo. The fries seemed malted and were sooooo good! My bf loved his sandwich too. Our drinks were lovely, tasty, and did not skimp on the booze! The decor is so beautiful in the craftsman style. I also loved that my blackberry bramble drink was called the Gamble Bramble, a nod to the famous craftsman house (doc brown’s house) in Pasadena. We came for lunch on a Saturday and had no trouble finding a table (you can seat yourself). Our server Alex was very sweet and attentive without hovering. We would love to come back. It’s a very slept on and great place to eat at the resort.

Nice comfy bar/lounge to have a drink or a bite to eat. My wife, brother-in-law, and I stopped in for some drinks and dessert around 9 at night. There were a good handful of other patrons but the place was quiet and cozy. The drinks, both alcoholic and not, were very good. We each had one of the desserts, and neither of us were disappointed. I had the cheesecake, and it was delicious. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and we had a pleasant time. Recommend for anyone looking for a easy going dining experience.

I came in for a bite and a beer with my family. It was pretty slow and there were lots of employees wandering around. Getting seated was really hard for the hostess. We felt invisible for the first 15 mins once we were seated. Finally someone acknowledged us. For being so slow, the beer took forever to get to our table. Not a pleasant experience. I will say the pizza was really good though. Definitely won't be back. Too bad I'm staying at the hotel for three nights. At least there are other restaurants.

Let me start by saying I'm a Disney adult. Love the feel of Disney (in California). I've wanted to try this place for a while. Overall it was pretty good. What I'd say is this...pass in the margarita pizza and just order the garlic knots. Cheaper, a lot more food...same great taste. Hopefully this review doesn't change the price. Pizza $21 small garlic knots $16 very fulfilling. Enjoy (I took the picks half way into eating everything LOL)

The Hearthstone is a cozy and elegant bar and lounge located on the 1st floor of the majestic and luxurious Arts and Crafts style Grand Californian Hotel. It features dark wood paneling contrasting against cream colored walls and black Mickey Mouse themed light fixtures, comfortable booth and table seating, friendly service, and seating by a warm fireplace in the evenings. It's a relaxing and comfortable place to hang out in, eat, drink, and soak up the inviting atmosphere.

I had a really really enjoyable experience here this evening. I dined across the street, but wanted dessert on resort property. I had the peach cheesecake. The presentation was phenomenal. What is great about Hearthstone Lounge, it feels like a private living room. You have fireplaces, big comfy chairs and coffee tables. If I was recommending a top ten list of restaurants in the Disneyland Resort, this is top three. The only negative, service is a tad slow for few tables sat. Server was friendly, she knew the menu, but wasn't checking on me enough. Service aside, this is an A + performance.

This is a nice casual sit down in the Grand California hotel. When we arrived, we could be seated immediately outside or wait 45 minutes for an indoor table. We chose outside, which must have been outside our servers normal area as we would go long periods of time without seeing our server while a couple servers from other tables were walking back and forth very frequently. Overall, the food was great and everyone was friendly and helpful.
