The diner is well kept and I love the oldies style theme. The prices itself were reasonable. I ordered a patty melt and a cookie dough milkshake. Both were decent though the patty melt was too greasy for my tastes (I guess I should've expected that). My family member ordered a clam chowder and it tasted good, but had a peculiar added kick to it. Unexpected but not bad though.

Burger delicious and make to order perfectly! Sweet potato fries and vanilla coke topped it off. Service was great!

Ruby's is a 50's style diner serving a variety of great All-Amercan cuisine, including burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. They also serve milkshakes and classic soda-shop beverages. Our waitress, Thelma, was awesome and made our visit that much better. I had the bacon cheesebuger and my bride had a turkey w/cranberry and bacon sandwich. We sampled a cherry coke that was amazing! Highly recommend Ruby's for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

This restaurant is on Lincoln Ave just a couple blocks east of the 5 freeway. Free parking, a Tesla Supercharging station, and extra parking on the street right (west Center street) behind the restaurant. Food is always hot, fresh, and tastes great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to take kids. Nice spot for a birthday lunch or dinner.

I had excellent food in a retro atmosphere. There is a huge parking area and there are many tables in the restaurant. I loved the hamburger with avocado. 😋

This is a cute little diner. Has that 50s feel to it. Portions were generous. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. Wasn't crowded, which I loved. Our waiter had a great sense of humor & was so nice. Definitely recommend 👍

Great food at a great price. The service level was impressive (this staff could teach people in Texas a thing or two about providing top notch service).

Wonderful 40s vibe. Taste is ok. I’ve tried cheesburger with onion rings and tots. I’ve eaten much better burgers and rings but this restaurant is good for its vibe.

Great diner experience with an old school vibe and feel. I had the club sandwhich on toated parmesan sour dough bread it was delicious with a heaping amount of roasted turkey served with endless fries. The atmosphere was fun and energetic and worth a shot dont forget to try one of there delicious milk shakes.

A restaurant with a nostalgic scent of the 80s. Waitress clothes, restaurant equipment all make me feel nostalgic The food is delicious and the old people are kind to the server. You seem to be over 70, but I respect and thank you for your passion

Came in at about 4.30 pm on a Thursday evening. It was not overly busy but they seemed to be running with two (maybe 3) service people. The food came out within a good amount of time and the poor waitress was moving very quickly to support everyone. I don't fault her for the slightly long delays between checking in on me, which she did. The food was decent. My burger was fresh but the fries were merely warm - not forgiving since they were not busy. I'd still go back:)

Art was great! I enjoyed his suggestion for the Apple Pie and the family definitely enjoyed the shakes. My wife had the chocolate with caramel and couldn’t believe how good it is was. 😀 Definitely a great experience.

I stumbled on this place by accident. I was pleasantly surprised. They took me in as soon as I arrived. As soon as I was seated, the waitress took my order. It was moments and everything was ready. The atmosphere was replicated of a 50s style restaurant. Everyone treated my like I was special and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. The food was amazing as well. Stop by, you'll be glad you did.

Ruby’s was a staple of my wife’s teenage years as it was the go-to when visiting her grandmother in Newport Beach. As a result , Ruby’s is a must whenever we are in Southern California and tonight was no different. In a world full of restaurants, Ruby’s may be a little past her prime but she’s still worth a visit. I got the Super Burger and it was tasty. The Parmesan sourdough bread enhanced the avocado nicely. Fries were just ok. Service was friendly and the diner atmosphere was fun. Like I said, Ruby’s is still with a visit.

Great service and fantastic food. The perfect place to stop for dinner and dessert after a day at Disneyland. I really like the garlic fries and the banana split.

Food was ok but not as good as I remember. Beignets were a little undercooked and doughey in the middle. Chili cheese dog was average, not bad but I've definitely had better. The burger had flavor but it was a little dry and the parmesan crusted sourdough was kind of oily. The waitress was really nice but she was very busy so service was slow. Our food sat for a while since she was grabbing stuff for other tables. We also had to wait to get boxes and the check and I didn't get my refill until we were done eating. Overall not bad, but not that good either. Everything was just ok which is a shame because I remember the food being better. They've also changed the menu so it's only some salads and sandwiches and breakfast items.

Found out about this place online. It did not disappoint. From the old fashioned counter to the waitresses in the old fashioned uniforms, made me feel like I was back in time. The food was great. The cherry coke was incredible. If I lived in Anaheim, I'm sure I'd be there at least once a week. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be stopping by.
