We were hesitant to go because of the expense and our kids (5 and 3) were nervous around the Disney characters the day before, however, I am so glad we went! Our kids loved it, even though they didn't get too close to the characters (out of fear)...other kids were hugging and giving high fives! The characters were dancing all around! It was fun! The food is amazing, wow, so many incredible options! I was blown away by the food! We had heard a number of negative comments, but it was fantastic! The wait staff was so friendly as well! You get a picture with Goofy before going into the restaurant (it is included in the cost). All regular drinks and food are included in the price. You can order specialty drinks if you want. Gratuity was included for large groups. The experience (Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Chip and Dale), breakfast food, tax, and tip was about $37 per child and roughly $64 per adult. It is expensive, but it is worth it for the experience and incredible food! I would highly recommend it! It exceeded my expectations!

Great way to kick-off your trip to Disneyland (especially with little first timers)! Great buffet selection and the characters come out and dance around the tables every 20 minutes. Some of the characters stopped for a quick hug. It is pricey (around $50+ pp for adults) but a first trip to Disneyland/CA Adventure is a big bill anyway. This dinner set the tone for a great experience! I'm not sure I would do this every time we return to the parks, but it depends on how long it is before we come back.

Great buffet. A variety of food and dessert choices. Although a buffet, you have a server for drinks and to remove plates. Gratuity was added for a party of 8. Price per adult was $60. They had character walk throughs and had a photo pass with Goofy at the beginning. The photo pass was free in our situations.

Great character experience. Food is buffet style with great dinner selection. Loved the interaction with Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale! We got lucky on Christmas eve and enjoy a delicious dinner here without a reservation. Thanks to the hostess and whoever didn't show up to their reservation.

Goofy's Kitchen reminds me of John's Incredible pizza just with Disney characters. It's expensive, at $50 a pop for adults (anyone over 9 years old is an adult). Additionally for my party of 3 they added a $30 gratuity charge. That is quite absurd in my opinion. The food isn't any better than golden Corral or John's Incredible Pizza. You're essentially paying for seeing the characters. It was for my daughter's birthday and she enjoyed it. But the cost, absorbent gratuity charge, and the ok food I won't go back again. The servers were nice, attentive, and informative so the service was great.

We had a party of 7 and many places were not able to accommodate us. It was the first trip for three of our children and one had their birthday while there. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere was great. Every 20 minutes or so the characters came through and danced. They brought a cut cupcake and sang to our birthday girl. The food was really good and fresh. We loved the entire experience and we will absolutely go again.

Amazing experience! We booked this for our first night in town, and it's the perfect first thing to do the day before you go to Disneyland. The food is wonderful and the interactions you get with the characters are truly magical. You do need your entire party present to be seated. And after you check in, you get to take a photo with Goofy before you are seated. My niece loved this for her birthday dinner. You truly feel special here, and it's worth the splurge.

Excellent service and dinner buffet was delicious. Above and beyond expectations. Good selection of different food and all tasted great. The ribs were my favorite! Just melt in my mouth. Characters came to our table to interact and take pictures with us. No line needed ! Would love to go back in a heartbeat.

What could be more goofy than Goofys Kitchen? Well nothing actually because Chef Goofy is by far the goofiest! You'll be able to see all the his Disney pals dancing around the dining area and yes hugs are back! This is a buffet style dining experience where the menu always changes so You'll be able to experience something new. The chefs will work with you if you have dietary needs. If this is your first time back since 2020 there are some new additions to your experience. Alcoholic beverages can now be purchased at your table. Because of this, the bill is paid at the end and not at check in. Additionally photos with Chef Goofy at the beginning are now included in the price and all photos will be added to you Disney app so have that ready.

Took our son for the first time. He had a blast! A lot of food selections during the dinner buffet. Carving station, salad station, kids area and tons of desserts. Photos are included with the meal. You can take them before while you wait to be seated or after. Best to make a reservation ahead of time. We only waited 30 minutes without reservations and took our pictures before we ate. Tons of Birthdays while we were there. Awesome to have everyone sing Happy Birthday and the characters come to do a meet and greet. Also they do a dance around the restaurant as everyone cheers them on. Adults were $55 each and $32.50 for a 3 year old. If you have a Disney Credit card, Debit card and season passes. Will help with a discount. Gratuity is automatically included with tax.

I've been there several times with my family, and it's pretty awesome. The characters join you at your table and do things to make you laugh and fall more in love with them. The food is good but their coffee is better! Oh, and their alcoholic drinks are also really good. Memorable experience with my family every time. ❤️❤️

So much fun! Worth the price, u get a picture with goofys before eating! They have tons of vegan options, the chef came out to show us the vegan options and the food that he could made for us in the kitchen!! The characters are so much fun they come to your table to take pics every 15/20 min!! So worth it!

Loved how each character interacted with all the littles ... They loved the attention they got from them and I know it made the best memories for them. The brunch is definitely the time to go so you can try the breakfast and the lunch. Food was delicious, flavorful and a great variety. Make sure you are ready for the entire price but it is worth it for the memories.

Disneyland CA is not know for its food for those in the Disney circles of being in the know (of which I am not but I know someone who is). That being said, for a character meal buffet the food was pretty good and the experience was nice. Great experience for those with small kids who can still enjoy a decent meal. You can go healthy, vegan, keto, or just a normal person and find yummy options. Kids enjoyed their food told. Service was great, characters were great, and the food was good….all in all, for a Disney character meal experience I give this 5 stars. It was one of the more memorable experiences on our trip. Plus Disneyland hotel has some cool ambiance experience with all of its history.

Our family has made it tradition when staying at Disney to dine with the characters at hoody’s kitchen. It’s buffet style and doesn’t disappoint! Having been to both breakfast and dinner it’s hard to recommend either, just do both! Characters do visit table side and made sure everyone was able to say hi and get photos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Food was typical buffet faire. The roasted turkey was great and so were the deserts. Our server, Tyrone was amazing!!! However, the price is deceiving. We dropped $450 on 2 kids under 3, 2 kids under 9 and 4 adults. Expect sticker shock when the bill shows up.

First time experience while celebrating my Nieces 4th Birthday with the family!! The 8 of us had a wonderful experience, the food was fresh and the staff were so accommodating and friendly! The characters coming out were a real treat and the staff came out to sing happy birthday and also were able to take pictures with the characters. They stopped by frequently which was a plus. The food was exceptional. The vegan strawberry chia seed pudding, the sweet and spicy chicken, the pizza and Mickey waffles were by far my favorite. Will definitely return even as an adult you really do feel the nostalgia and like a big kid!

Amazing! Absolutely amazing! First trip to Disneyland and USA. Did not disappoint now on a mission to see all the DISNEY’s and see the character dinings. Food was great and loved the character interaction and staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a great place for all ages. The selector food is amazing there is plenty of choices for adults and kids. The meet and greets with characters are unique and everyone will have a chance to take photos and meet characters.

Went to Goofy's Kitchen for the dinner buffet and enjoyed our time there. Your able to take photos with Goofy's before you are seated. Multiple characters walking around (Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale, even Goofy made a quick walk through) They visited all the tables and it was nice to see then interact with the guests especially the little ones who showed pure joy in seeing them, very heartwarming. Food was good ( basic buffet style) where even the pickiest eaters can find something to eat. Just a note there are no restrooms available at the restaurant you have to go outside to the hotel lobby or other facility.

The food was excellent. I was not expecting to find pozole at breakfast, it was a pleasant surprise! They also had an omelette bar, salad station, pastries, and other breakfast offerings. I would highly recommend dining here to get your character meet & greets in with no line. My only issue was that we had to ask servers to clear our plates from the table. We were a group of 9 and our table got cramped fast and our server must have been busy.

Absolute must have reservation. Had one for 9:25 am. Said we could checkin at 9:05. We did and were seated fairly quick. You get free pictures with goofy that you receive virtually. You’re gratuity and tax is all included in the cost of the reservation. The buffet is excellent, lots of nice choices. Saw pancakes, waffles, breakfast pizza, dessert pizza, made to order food stations. They had chicken strips for chicken and waffles. Plus tons of pastries, desserts, fruit, ice cream. I think I even saw Mac and cheese. This is a great option for anyone. Even if you are a picky eater. The characters do a parade around the dining room, and come to you’re table. We saw all the characters on the floor in around an hour or so. Wait staff was attentive and kind. My husband and I had a great conversation with Zach who I believe was a character attendant. I’d definitely be back for this buffet again

I’ve been a regular here for years, ever since my little one in the photo started walking, and our latest visit was just as awesome as the first. The characters here bring so much fun to the experience, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Thanks to everyone at Disney for consistently doing such an amazing job!

The food was absolutely amazing, as they had something for everyone. The service for the price paid, on the other hand, was less than stellar. Our waiter checked on us once. We spent most of the meal with empty beverage glasses and used plates on our table (it’s buffet style, so a new plate for each trip to the buffet). My guess is since gratuity is calculated into the final amount, there is no need to provide excellent customer service? Something to be aware of. Overall, great experience.

Definitely mostly go for the ambiance. I have seen a decline in the quality of food. And for the price you’re paying is not completely justified. The pictures at the beginning are cute. And you have characters go around to meet you. I went on a Saturday. But the only characters were Minnie, Chip, and Dale. Again ON A SATURDAY. My orange juice was a little too tart. But they had a reasonable amount of vegan/vegetarian options.

We went for a birthday and it was lovely. The characters came around to every table. It was worth the price. Food was great too. I highly recommended going here for a special day.❤️

Definitely the highlight of my trip! Great variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner foods all for one buffet price while also being an interactive experience with Disney character favorites! I’ve been to Chef Mickey’s in Florida and this is definitely my new favorite character dining experience because of the quality and variety of food and the overall atmosphere =) I’ll be back for sure!

I strictly recommend Goofy’s kitchen for the experience! It’s not a guarantee that you’ll get to take pictures or me close to Goofy, Minnie, Pluto or the Chip and Dales. We went for our bday and it is a lot of fun! While you wait for your reserved table you can take pictures with Goofy! The characters come out every 15 to 20 mins. The food was mediocre and over priced. There are a lot of sweets if you have a mega sweet tooth! We went for brunch and alcoholic drinks are not included in the buffet. For 3 ppl, (kids under 3 are free) we spent over $200 dollars since we did order alcoholic drinks. The kids had a great time so that justified the price. This is definitely a one time experience for us!
