Food: BBQ Pork, Beef Broccoli, and Chow Mein are amazing! The 2 item plate with a choice of fried rice or chow mein is a whole lot of food. I could barely close the lid. Service: The owners are all smiles and appreciative of your choice to dine with them. I was in line for a few minutes and out the door with my food. Perfect of you're in a rush! Final thought: Perfect lunch with delicious food and plenty to have for dinner later. Worth every penny! A+

The employees are VERY NICE. Lots of food. But the food had no flavor. Plain. Would I have again? Probably not. But it's one on the list to say we tried it.

Considering this place has heat lamps, the food is incredibly fresh. Nothing was too oily or too salty. The owners are super friendly. They really deserve more business. Highly recommend. Try their egg rolls. They are very similar to New York-style Chinese takeout. Great combination of carrots, celery, onions, cabbage, pork. I wish the wrapping was slightly thicker but they still were pretty great flavorwise! Another thing I would change is to not have that fake soy sauce. They did have good chili sauce, though. Love Ho-Toys!

I ordered fried rice and chow mein noodles, no flavor at all. The 2 items I got was broccoli beef and Kung pao chicken both no flavor. I thought I would try this place again since the first time I didn't like it. Didn't like it again. I'm sure they have something good I just haven't found it. Enjoy.

First time trying, last time eating. This place was not good at all. The rice was spoiled. The noodles were basically still uncooked but still no flavor. It was just gross. Lost my appetite. I don’t know how people say this place tastes good. The only thing I liked was the spicy chicken. But even so, they only gave very very little chicken and a BUNCH of veggies. Never coming here again.

If your craving Chinese food just go somewhere else. A cup of noodles would've been better then this or just plan cereal , everything was bland no flavor at all this was the worst Chinese food I have tasted trust me just stay away from this place

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. I moved out of state for 5 years and was hoping this place would be here when I moved back. AND IT IS! The recipes have not changed and I am just so happy. The service is FANTASTIC. Get the BBQ pork you won’t regret it.

The portions were great and the staff friendly. Unfortunately the teriyaki chicken was abhorrent, the orange chicken a step above edible, and the broccoli beef had a weird texture but was otherwise flavorful and good. The chow mein was tasty.

They give you so much food there it’s crazy. Their teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and barbecue pork are the best. And the chow mein

I have been going here since I was 5 years old. I'm 34 now and this place always has a spot in my heart. I love in riverside now but me and my family always makes a stop for the great food and nostalgia. I can't wait to come here for 29 more years

Saw this place in a tiktok of five best Chinese food places in Orange County and it was just down the road so I went to try it out. It was a bit tough to see all the items behind the plastic and glass so I went with the two favorites of white people, orange chicken and broccoli beef. The chicken didn't look appetizing in the window, but yeah, it delivers, still crispy 10 minutes later when I got home and the broccoli beef was also pretty good, but could've used a better even distribution of the two, the orange chicken was probably 2/3rds of the entree space. The only thing holding back the 5th star is I thought the chow mein was a bit lackluster. I do like it without the vast array of veggies places like china panda put in, but these just didn't really seem to deliver anything besides a noodle to mix in with the other textures. Next time I'll likely get fried rice and hopefully there won't be a line so I can peruse the other offerings on my own time.

I wanted to like this. The food was hot and the quality seemed decent-ish but just wasn’t very good. The chow mein was good but the egg soup had very very little flavor.

I love this place so much! My three choices for a to-go box were Orange Chicken, BBQ Pork and Lo Mein. ALWAYS very tasty, reasonable priced and fast service. You cant ask for better than that for what this place is, a very basic eatery. Its been there since 1968, if that tells you anything about their dedication and experience. Inside seating is maybe for 6 or 8, so go expecting to carry out your food. I wish I was there right now! My only complaint (and this is minor) is that they dont have t-shirts. Who wouldn't love a Ho Toys t-shirt?

Amazing amazing amazing. The food is so full (enough for 2 meals/person) and so freaking delicious. I always come by every time I’m in the area. My favorite is bbq and kung pao chicken. They are so good that I couldn’t try the other items lol. Sometimes I just eat some in the car right away because I’m inpatient haha. The service is excellent, they are sweet and friendly. Keep in mind that the place inside pretty small (3-4 small tables) so it’s better to take out or eat in ur car like me. Last but not least, THIS IS CHINESE FOOD, so if you’re American and think Panda Express is better, please don’t bother to come lol.

The food was amazing!! We were looking for something to eat after a long day at the park. We happened to find this place off the beaten path, and I'm so glad we did! The food was amazing! The staff were super friendly and the portion sizes are huge! We will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family! I gave the atmosphere a 4 star due to he lack of places to eat. If you have a huge family, you may want to get it to go. Don't let that deter you though. The orange chicken and bbq pork were the family favorites!

Steam table type of food presentation. The waitress was friendly and packed the entrees on my to go order! Fast food seemed fresh, because of the turn over, from lots of customers. They keep cooking and refilling the stainless steel table containers. Small venue with a couple of tables inside. I got my order to go. Very clean and neat inside. Nice people are customers.

THIS IS THE TYPE OF CHINESE FOOD I GREW UP ON!!! If you are looking for authentic, steam table, pile up your styrofoam container, busting at the seams chinese food, THIS IS THE PLACE. Super nostalgic portions and flavor. This place is 1,000% a must if you are craving Chinese food. The staff was extremely nice & friendly. Prices are UNBEATABLE. THANK YOU HO TOYS 🫶we will be back every time we are in town. THANK YOU!!

I went in today. I ordered two combos, each with three items. I asked for teriyaki chicken and they gave me no teriyaki sauce. I asked for mushroom chicken and all I received was one piece of fatty chicken and the rest all mushrooms. They did this to me before with their broccoli beef..they gave me one piece of meat and the rest all broccoli. They do not take off all the fat from chicken pieces. They are cheating people out of food and they know it. The fried rice has no flavor and neither does the chow mein. Very bland food. I went back to give them a chance to make it right but I will not go back after this.
