This place was SO GOOD. Me and the hubby came here after a visit to Disney because we wanted Great food, bug portions but not at the disney price you pay inside the park. We took a gamble on this place because we aren't locals and had a long drive home and risk complications after a meal but I know now this a go to Mexican eatery spot. The food was so fresh, and it came out very quickly. Complimentary chips and Salsa were a super nice touch and they gave us an extra refill on them. The chips were fresh and warm, and the Salsa tasted house made and refreshing, it wasn't to spicy but just the right amount of kick. I ordered the ignited trio fajitas and my awesome waiter literally lit my fajitas on fire in front of us, like how cool(or should I say hot) is that!🔥 They had a wounderful dessert menu with lots of choices, but we were so full we couldn't try them, maybe another time🤤. A little more pricey than a quick service mexican place but highly worth it for the flavorful experience this restaurant gives you. 👌

I orderer chimichanga burrito which was 9/10. Only down side was I ask for Zero cheese on anything and they still put some on my order. I don't know if it they put it on the bean but this is no excuse for this. Also we ask for a hotter sauce for our chip however the guy brought it to us upon bringing our food which was pointless because we had ate the chips and sauce Another thing was we order a salad and the guy said it would be an additional charge for lettuce which I didn't mind the additional charges however I didn't appreciate his tone he said it to me. We had to stop by for dinner because we had to leave back home. The guy didn't check on us to refill our drink or if we want mor3 alcohol drinks. Another down side their table were sticky which it also had little bugs and fruit flys as well. After we were done we ask for the check which he did bring however he was staring at us walking around for 10 minutes and we tried to inform him we were ready to pay and didn't come. We had to walk to him to pay. We did leave a decent tip which honestly he didn't deserve. To finish this off both restrooms available were extremely dirty with no paper to dry your hand and the sink was wet dripping with water to the floor. We were nice to the fellow however visiting out of state coming here was a mistake. I guess the 1,748 review don't really give the creditablity of all of the customers feedback I thought was going to received! I won't be back here on next visit to California!

Was early for our reservation, but was still seated in a timely fashion. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Food was a tad slow coming out, but definitely worth the wait. Best Mexican food have had in a while. Definitely glad we came here, and next time we are back in the area will probably be back.

Went for Sunday brunch after church so I got there within the last hour. The food was good, some of the meats were a little dry but I did come in a little late. They had many different stations and definitely leave room for desserts

The WORST part of the ordeal was the flies!! If there were this many at our table, how many were in the kitchen!!!? Disgusting. But also, everything else wasn’t good either. The salsa was too spicy for us, especially for our kid, and it was in ALL of the food(even the kid’s menu items we ordered that were too spicy for my kid to even eat to the point that my kid left sad and hungry) except the enchiladas, which were flavorless. The tortillas were beyond tough, and the chips, though hot and crispy, tasted stale. And we were thirsty half the time we were at the table. Waste of money.

My sister and I went for Taco Tuesday at Happy Hour. $2.99 tacos made fresh. Stella, the lady making the tacos, was nice. Our waitress made the guacamole right at our table. Cheese cake to finish it off.

We enjoyed our dinner but the service was slow and several drinks were wrong. They were busy so we understood to some extent. That was not typical in our other visits. The food was good and the taco buffet was a hit. We got the chocolate ice cream cake that was shared… and it was great.

The food was prettty good. The service was really slow, but they were a little busy at the time. It has a very loud and energetic atmosphere.

Came here with a party of 12 for a delayed mother's day brunch. We had reservations and they seated us immediately, and then Dante the server did a great job making us feel welcome, taking our extensive drink order, introducing us to the buffet arrangement, and then brought us delicious pancakes. He was very attentive, although busy with other tables, made sure to keep our mimosas coming along with several other drinks. We had top shelf margaritas, champagne, sodas, horchata, and endless mimosas. The food was good although I did wish they continued to have more of a variety. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back again.

Went to the Anaheim location to try the all you can eat buffet. Awful. Everything tasted "off". We eat at El Toritos often enough to know the food is decent, but this was disgusting. The beef for the taco station had a grey color so I wouldn't touch it. The chicken taco meat tasted and smelled like flowers. The soup smelled like dirty socks. The 3 other dishes they offered had fatty pork pieces. I lost my appetite early on. I only ate a small flan. They also started to shut down the buffet 10 minutes prior to when they were supposed to. The little cakes were so DRY. This was a waste of $15 each. Do not recommend.

Came here for the buffet brunch and it was way better than the other brunches offered at other el Torito locations. There was a wide selection, everything seemed well cooked. Just be prepared… it is extremely LOUD. We brought our autistic wheelchair bound cousin and she struggled with the noise level, but for the record it was much louder than a sports bar on game night🤷🏽‍♀️

I was here about a yr ago in March. Spacious dining areas where tables aren't on top of one another, warm and welcoming staff who were very knowledgeable & delicious food and drinks! Great menu options, there was something for everyone!

The food is always awesome at El Torito. I usually go to the one in either Torrance or Lakewood but this location was very nice too. My friend, my dad, & I went around 1:30 on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. We were seated right away and our food came quickly. We also had the option to eat at the buffet. I ordered the Macho Combo and it was so good and very good value for the price. It came with a Chile rellano, chicken enchilada, crispy barbacoa taco 🌮, chicken tamale 🫔, rice, beans, & my favorite sweet corn cake. I usually get the sizzling fajitas but I would definitely get the Macho Combo again. My friend had the all you can eat tortilla soup and Mexican Cesar salad, & my dad had a chicken enchilada and crispy taco combo plate. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was nice too. El Torito is one of my favs and you can't go wrong with the Sunday Brunch with bottomless mimosas 🍾 Forgot to take a pic until I had already dug in LoL

I'm in town visiting and was looking for something unique and delicious to eat. I saw a few reviews and decided to have a meal at El Torito. I had a Black Diamond Margarita and the Ignited Fajitas Supremas. Everything was great. The presentation, the temp, and the taste were wonderful. My Bartenders were great!

We haven’t been to this location in awhile but just got shocked by the orange location closing. We came to the Anaheim location and Milton waited on us and was just the sweetest 😊 very helpful, thoughtful and personable. I hope you guys don’t close this location. These guys you have are great.

I would love to know the background or reason of this restaurant serving Enchiladas with Flour Tortillas.. they were Mazatlan enchiladas, rice was good but small portion. We order food for 3 adults and 2 kids, the bill was $119.00 plus tip I tip $20.00

The service was outstanding even though we had chosen the buffet at lunchtime! If a line began the employees joined in helping serve. Chips and salsa were great as always.

Met up with a friend for happy hour, great pomegranate margarita, the food for the happy hour was adequate, I wasn’t very thrilled with the flavors, they’re not like they use to be taste wise and portion wise, but with that being said our server was very nice.

Had a great meal here. It was a nice escape after Disneyland. Our food was great. We had a group of 6 and they got us seated quickly with no issues. If you're looking for a place to get away to after Disneyland or anything else close by, I would recommend coming here.

One of my best Mexican restaurants. I love their Grilled Chicken Taco Salad. The service is good.

Made 3pm reservations, got there on time but accommodated 25 minutes later. After food ordered, took another 25 minutes to be served. Poor management, second class servers, where anyone can dress the way they want( no rules, workers using personal phones during work, chewing gum, dirty personal clothes ) Pretty much an unpleasant service.
