Me and my family’s all time favorite place to get chinese food. We always get the cooked to order menu family portion options since we have family and friends over often and lantern garden has always delivered delicious chinese food with generous sizes. I attached a pic of what we usually get. We ordered honey shrimp, house special chow mein, house special fried rice, teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. Just wanted to share my positive experience with this restaurant over the years.

I find myself coming here for the cooked to order menu more and more… everything is delicious!! Tonight the Mongolian beef really shined! Delicious beef and caramelized onion flavor with the smoky wok taste only a good chinese restaurant can create. I also got soy garlic wings which is always a treat for me and my family, perfectly sweet yet savory. They give you free rice as well with every entree order which is super nice.

My boyfriend and I love lantern garden and have been frequenting this establishment for over 2 years now! We moved recently to fullerton but we still make our way down to Anaheim every now and then just for lantern garden and we also still order online delivery from them. Best Chinese food takeout in OC! 😊😊Today I got a 2 item with half and half plus orange chicken and bbq pork. Delicious!!

Ordered the house special fried rice and shrimp chow fun. The rice has beef, chicken and shrimp. The chow fun has wide noodles but not much shrimp but the shrimp size was good. The food was delivered hot and on time. The portions were enough to share so we ordered less items overall.

So drove kinda far to try this place out since it had some of the best rating scores around and I will say this the flavor was really good but the food was Luke warm at best and it’s not like we had take out or preordered our food dine in and we both got 2 items and all four were the same. Disappointed

I’ve been wanting to try Chinese food from a small business for some time now, and I coincidentally encountered this. The restaurant is very clean and smells incredible. The lady who served us food was super welcoming and filled up the container. The food, though, is the best part. I ordered chow mein with all the chicken. They are good, but the sesame chicken stood out to me the most with its sweetness and crunchy yet chewy texture. The food was served steaming. I’m definitely coming back for the food and service. The photo attached is of a portion consisting of chow mein, sesame chicken, and sweet and spicy chicken. I ordered to-go so the bowl is mine btw haha

I am very picky with my food so I am very appreciative when a restaurant knows how to follow instructions. Lantern garden is the only Chinese food me and my family will go to because not only is the food tasty but they follow our special requests to a tee. They even make our house special fried rice extra spicy for free which is delicious.

Orange chicken and sesame chicken has perfect crisp and flavor. I love going to different local Chinese spots, and this restaurant does not disappoint. It has all of my favorites, and the entire family enjoys it when we go out for takeaway. The prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality, and the cook time is really short. I have and will continue to suggest this establishment to all of my friends. One of my all time favorite Chinese restaurants.

Really delicious food. Hit the spot and kinda replaces our usual Chinese food place. My husband loved the wings, gave it 9 out of 10. He’s a huge connoisseur of wings. He just wished it were a little bit spicy. Other than that so good. Loved the house chow mein. Would definitely come back.

The greatest Chinese food in town. I live approximately 4 miles away, yet I drive there to acquire some tasty chinese food for my family. The meal is dependably fresh, and the flavor has always exceeded our expectations. It's like a special treat for us. The staff is quite kind and courteous. After many years in the neighborhood, I still drive four miles once a week for a delicious lunch. Be patient though at dinner as lines can get quite long sometimes if you're going in during dinner rush hour.

The cuisine was AMAZING! This is the closest to New York style Chinese food I've ever eaten in this area! I went out to dinner with my family, and the service was wonderful; the food was quick and tasty. I got the hot and sour soup, and both the broth and the ingredients were delicious. I hope my review gets them a lot of attention since it's a terrific spot to go if you're hungry for Chinese food.

Love this local small business, not only do they sell amazing Chinese takeout but they also have refreshingly good boba tea drinks which was perfect for today’s warm and humid day. They have a buy one get one free offer on Uber eats so we got 4 boba teas for price of 2!! 😋😋 🧋

My family and I’ve been ordering Chinese food from lantern garden for years now since they opened. Best Chinese food near Disneyland. They are always busy here so I suggest ordering ahead. The self ordering machine is cooked to order menu only and you can skip the long lines if you order on it. Recently I found pick-up orders through google food also works wonders for skipping the wait.

Had really excellent takeout delivery. Our food was prepared and delivered so quickly, especially for Saturday at dinner time. Loved the chow mein that wasn’t dry or too greasy and the sesame chicken that was perfectly sweet. The food was very well-priced and big portions. There was enough for 4 servings from just those two dishes. Would definitely order from/eat here again.

This hidden gem is not located at center street promenade but is located in the shopping center near the center entrance where lamichoacana ice cream is to get to promenade street. The small walk is worth it as it's the best chinese food in the neighborhood by far. I highly recommend getting the house special fried rice, you get 3 proteins in a packed to the brim box and it's very good for the price.

So my order was finally delivered after my driver couldn't find it the first time. My order was wonton soup, and the house fried rice. My soup was so hot that the heat dissolved every ingredient and made it a hot bowl of mush. Rice was mundane at best. For the price I felt the portion should have been bigger, or at least better quality. The reason atmosphere is a five was because I got to eat it in peace in my hotel room. You guys can do better.

If you're at disneyland and a fan of chinese food, you want to check this local restaurant out. The food is seriously top-notch! We saw it a day later while staying at Disneyland hotel. The flavors were so authentic and the portions generous. And the best part? Prices were far less expensive than the restaurants inside the park. The service was really responsive and the relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect setting for a satisfying meal outside of Disney resort.

i ordered 2 items: mushroom chicken&broccoli beef with fried rice&chow mein, and thai tea boba from uber eats. i've been craving for asian food and this is my first time trying the food from this restaurant. im in love with the food! but i don't really like the chow mein, bc it doesn't have any flavour. my favourite one is the fried rice!

Excellent cuisine! Wow! Talk about fresh, hot, and delectable! We were pleasantly impressed by the barbecue pork with fried rice. The personnel was extremely attentive and pleasant. We wholeheartedly suggest this place.

My all time favorite Chinese food joint, been going here for almost 2 years now. They got all your classics here like orange chicken and broccoli beef but they also go an extra step and have chinese sauce flavored chicken wings like soy garlic wings and braised pepper wings. A must try!!

Was looking for chicken wings and was surprised to find the place that I've been buying chinese food also has a wings section. I ordered the Soy Garlic Wings + Sweet And Hot Braised Pepper Wings on the kiosk and to my surprise, it was really good. You get the wings in their black takeout boxes and it is a FULL box, I mean it is packed to the MAX. The flavor is surprising too, it's a unique flavor that I haven't had anywhere except here, you just have to try it if you have the chance to, really recommend it.

Food that is hot! Online ordering is reliable if you're doing pick-up order and if you're staying nearby the hotels at the disneyland area, just a quick drive. I really like the cooked to order menu, honey shrimp is amazing and they don't give you fillers like lettuce or walnuts which we appreciated.

I frequently order from here when we don't feel like cooking. It's close to my house and I can walk there, plus the meal is always wonderful. They're also quite fast, which is greatly appreciated. The teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and honey shrimp are all excellent choices.

The best Chinese restaurant in Anaheim. The meal I ordered was low in salt, had green crisp veggies, is clearly made from fresh ingredients, and is freshly prepared when you order it. They are really kind and honest folks and welcome vegetarians. I strongly suggest it!

We've found the best Chinese in Anaheim. Staff is always clean and friendly. Excellent chow mein, they prepare it fresh from scratch when you order, so call about 15 minutes before to order and it will be hot and ready when you arrive. Although we generally purchase take-out, there is a small yet clean and lit up space to sit and eat.

For the last 2 years, since the pandemic started, this has been my favorite spot, and it is still going strong. You are always given more than you can eat, and the food is always fresh. I always give 5 stars. It's a genuinely good local restaurant that serves boba tea drinks and quality chinese food. I eat here around one or twice a week.

Delicious. A step above the standard American Chinese stuff we've grown to expect, but at the same rates. We ordered on their self order kiosk machine, the wait was about 8-10 minutes. The orange chicken is delicious, and the amounts are generous. The staff is also pleasant and gave me everything I needed for my takeout order.

The customer service we received from the moment our order was taken, to when it arrived to our plates has been top notch. The person taking care of us had an eye for what would make everything run smoothly and he went out on a limb by holding up closing time just so that everyone could get their food before they left! And as if all this weren't enough...the meal itself tastes incredible too..

Excellent Chinese food spot, open late and perfect for a healthy and hot meal after a long day a disneyland! Staff is kind and quick to help, they are happy to help recommend dishes. I ordered both the steamed veggies with shrimp and the honey shrimp dish. Both were delicious, and I want to return. I'm glad I found this place! Thank you very much.

The food is delicious and satisfying, it's what you'd expect to get, the food is above average in my opinion. It's not a large or crowded restaurant which is good, if you want to come in and have a wonderful dinner in a peaceful setting, it's worth it. The service is excellent, and you will always leave full and happy. I suggest trying both styles of their orange chicken, they have 2 and it's delicious.

We came to this place to hold a small 4 person informal meeting. This restaurant was suggested to me by a friend. We were not disappointed, to say the least. The staff was incredibly kind, and we had a terrific time. The food was delicious and arrived shortly after we ordered on the self ordering machine at the front door, very seamless experience, just order, pay and pick up and eat. Orange chicken was perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor, the chicken chow mein was also perfect texture and seasoned perfectly. We liked every minute of it, and we will return to try other options.
