First, it's located in a strip mall and you have to order at the counter. Don't let this scare you!! My husband and I both had fish tacos plate with rice and beans. He had grilled and I had the battered. SO DANG GOOD!!! My fish was crispy, you could hear the crunch! My beans & rice could have been warmer, but still great! We had the tomato & feta salad which was also delicious.

Grill fishes are our favorites. Prices are reasonable. Services are okay.

Walk up order service. We have gone here several times for lunch with a group from work. The food has always been good, I've had the wild salmon and the swordfish today and it was perfect, the coleslaw is very flavorful and the Brussel sprouts are special. It is always busy at lunchtime. I recommend this place for a quick inexpensive meal.

Salmon grilled bowl with healthy rice, quinoa, vegetables and the special sauce with a chicken taco and vegetables, plus the specialty pickled onions. I am vegan and to my surprise there were three options on the menu. I have only had two of the plant base fish dishes but they were both delicious. Although the plant base fish runs the line of fast food, it's still worth checking out. Not a fancy place but clean. It's more like cafeteria style at a base level.

Love the tacos. Definitely a different twist and flavor on a taco compared to your typical carne asada taco. Their shrimp, fish and chicken tacos are excellent. If you are a salad person? Can't go wrong with the salmon salad!! Always a great meal meal!! Also the have a good selection of appetizers as well!

Always great service and food here. My kids love the swai. I like their salads. Excellent choice of sides. I miss the days where we used to get beans and some bread on the side (not here but other CFGs) and their crab salad, however the meals still represent great value and are delicious

Down from Canada and we stopped by for the seafood... not disappointed. The shrimp tacos and dynamite shrimp bowl were so full of flavor. Best grilled salmon salad she's had(mother-in-law) and even the kids chicken and fries had great flavor. Highly recommend and will be back when next in town.

I came here for the first time on 10/21/23. My experience was terrible. I ordered online and it said it would take 15 minutes. My order was supposed to be ready at 4:58PM but I didn’t end up walking out of there until 5:40PM. The staff was horrible. I came in and I asked for my food and they told me they were waiting on the coconut shrimp. I sat and I waited for 20 minutes and then I got up and I asked about it again and this tall white man working told me it would be a few more minutes, then I asked for a cup for soda while I waited for my order and the man gave me a cup. More time went by and then the same man asked me… have you been helped? I got so frustrated because he had helped me twice already, but he still didn’t remember that I was the only person standing there waiting for my food? I said I’ve been waiting!! For my order! And apparently it had just been sitting. There was another customer that was arguing with the staff, because they had not gotten everything that they had ordered. I was trying to be polite while I was waiting that long for my food, but I guess you really do have to bark at this staff to get your meal here. I don’t know if the food was good or not because it was soggy. I paid $30 for a gross soggy meal. I’m never coming back to this location. These workers must be high or something, they are so dumb.

For California it's hard to find good seafood but this place was amazing. Freshly grilled and the Cajun flavor was perfect. Definitely going back

Online ordering is the best I've experienced, very intuitive and easy. This location (Anaheim hills) is a well oiled machine. You can order in advance and schedule a pickup. I did and it was ready on time. The sea food is amazing. I've tried several dishes and all consistent and delicious.

Just wanted to thank California Fish Grill of Anaheim Hills for never failing to ensure my sweet potato fries (premium side upcharge) are Salmon Soaked and Soggy. Great job!

This is another branch of California fish grill. Their food are always delicious with good prices. I ordered grilled Swai and salmon combo with the side of French fries and their new item, “tomatoes and feta cheese”. Despite being busy, they served the customers on time.

One of my favorite lunch spots! I’m a fan of the shrimp Leto bowl and add-on shrimp skewer for $2.99. It never disappoints!

This restaurant provides fried fish and shrimp with french fries. It tasted good but a little bit greasy. Many people but Air Conditioner was low, so a little bit hot.

I ordered the catfish. I received a stupid good meal. Definitely will order again.

California Fish Grill provides low-cost, quality fresh seafood in a casual atmosphere. Customers order at the counter, they give you a number and then bring the food to the table. I had the Ahi Poke bowl, which was a little bit spicy, very fresh and super tasty. The dining area is noisy and the seats are hard, but what can you expect for the price, which is about $13.

Great tasting dinners. Spot on on-line order and pickup. They have your food set to go when they say it'll be ready. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Perfect place to go for eats.

Food weren't too bad. I could tell their tuna were frozen but nonetheless would probably come back for it again since there's not a lot of restaurant I know that have it. Everything else were cooked fine. Fish and chips were perfectly crispy. Would recommend it for a quick bite.

Nice experience and vast variety of choices..tried grill Salmon with shrimp..added fries and beans..taste was awesome and fantastic.highly recommendable.. We should order first in the entrance cashier before taking the seat.. if Dine in, no table order..
