The location and shuttle are great. The shuttle was always on time and really helped make our Disney trips easier. The hotel itself is really pretty old and in need of a renovation. The bathroom is super tiny and really can only accommodate one person at a time, which might pose a problem when getting ready in the morning. It was clean and comfortable though. The grounds and the lobby also beautiful. Overall the price, free shuttle (all other places charge), and location make this hotel a good option for your Disney trip.

I want to first say the good or great things about this hotel. The staff at this hotel is superior to any 5 star hotel. I give the staff 5 stars! From checking in, maid service, restaurant staff and pool. The staff was by far the best I have ever experienced. The food at the Deli and Bistro were good. Now for the negatives the beds are old and really hard. The reading lamps don’t work. Everything from the shower curtain rings falling apart, to the glass on the table in the room that our three year old almost brought down on his head with minimal effort. No outlets or outlets that don’t work are a bit shocking. Windows that open but no screens to keep the bugs out was strange. Zero AC in the upper floor hallways. But the most shocking was the cockroach our 8 year old mentions (hey what kind of bug is that grandma?) on our door on the last day at the hotel. The pounding from the construction workers outside renovating the hotel was definitely a bit much especially when you have small kids who need a nap. If it wasn’t for the staff it would have been a waste of money to stay there and would have asked for a discount.

Highly recommend for any type of stay, but definitely if you have a trip planned to Disney. We loved the property! Friendly staff, clean, quiet and comfortable. They have a restaurant, snack/souvenir shop, bar, shuttle to the Disney parks and the best thing is you can beat the Disney crowds by watching fireworks from the main entrance of the hotel. Definitely a nice place to stay with small children/family. My 5 year old loved every bit of it especially the small arcade they have on site. WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE FROM NOW ON! Thank you Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. 🙂

We found this hotel while looking at different Disney “Good Neighbor Hotels”. If you’re usually pretty loyal to certain brands (I typically am), don’t let that scare you off. This hotel is great. A few key points: - Can’t beat the location. Short ride to Disneyland on the (free) shuttle, or if you’d like more flexibility it’s a 4 minute drive to Disney parking. - The property may be a bit dated overall, but feels very well taken care of and clean. - Rooms are very spacious. Our two queen room had a tremendous amount of space. The only downside is that the bathroom was very small. Not a big issue, but could be a hassle if you have multiple people trying to get ready in the morning. - We got a surprise at 9:30 PM when the Disneyland fireworks started going off and when we looked out our window we had a perfect view! Certainly not the case with all rooms, but you can certainly see them from other spots on the property.

Location is the plus with this hotel. The shuttle to Disney is less than 5 minutes. With one exception, the shuttle was timely for the duration of my 3 day trip. The hotel was clean, safe, & easily accessible. I enjoyed the daily happy hour. I did not eat on property, but there were 2 restaurants and a delicious. I'd definitely lodge here again.

I was hesitant when we booked this hotel. I read the reviews and it’s 1/2 people love it and 1/2 people don't. This isn’t the Grand Californian. But it’s a great hotel and it for us checked all the boxes. It’s clean, rooms are large, shuttle service and the price was right. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The fireworks can be viewed in the pool area and if your lucky and the jacuzzi isn’t crowed you can soak and watch the show! They have a arcade for the kids and cute little gift shop. The hotel has a full bar and a breakfast buffet in the morning. I personally didn’t care for the food at either the buffet or the deli I had the breakfast sandwiches but 🤷🏼‍♀️. The shuttle service is on point and is a great added feature. Drivers are friendly and on time. The parking fee is ridiculous but I think that’s standard for all the hotels catering to the Disney crowd. The grounds were clean and well kept. The bathrooms are tiny and can only fit really one person but hey I don’t like people in the bathroom with me anyways. Lol. With all that being said I will definitely consider this hotel when booking my next Disney vacation. Hope this helped.

Monday morning at 4AM a FIRE broke out at the hotel, our wing was evacuated. We have a 2 year old that was terrified. We waited about 40 min outside in the cold before a member of the staff came around and told us to go back inside. We were one of the only few who waited for the ok. Upon returning, it was obviously smoky. We had our concerns about the air quality but the firefighters assured us we were fine. Check out rolls around (after previously talking to a staff members who said they would take care of the parking fees for the inconvenience) I’m assuming the individual I spoke with was management at the front desk this morning and he informed me he wasn’t “apologizing for the fire alarms doing their job” they aren’t compensating guests in any form for what happened. Because it was at no negligence of theirs. Which, from what we saw seems to be untrue. The fire was in the laundry room. We witnessed the firefighters spraying a linen cart. While I do agree the alarm did its job, I’m disappointed in the fact that the staff had 0 regard or sympathy for the issue. We’ve stayed here before and had great experiences, I let him know we wouldn’t be staying again and he could care less.

Really loved and enjoyed our stay here. They have a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes or you can just walk across the way to the park. It was end of September so the Halloween theme was in full effect lol. Liked the rooms. Everything was great. No complaints here.

When we arrived, everything looks nice and clean. The place is a little bit old and needs a little bit of maintenance. The staff was very rude and poorly trained. They did not answer any of my questions. They charge a $100 deposit that they don’t tell you about until you get there and they say they will return it, once you leave, but it’s been 5 days and still nothing. Some of the restaurants didn’t have good food but the wait staff there are super nice and well trained. Another thing to add is ,not only did they charge me at the beginning of my stay, but also they charged me the full amount again at the end of my stay . Shuttle service took forever. Had to wait a very long time at Disney to get picked up . they say it’s every 30 minutes but it felt like two hours. I timed it. It’s five minutes away from Disney driving, they should not take that long. That was a positive to they stay, It’s very close to Disneyland and that is probably the only reason anyone should stay there. Be prepared to also go back to the front desk so they can reactivate your key card , because if you keep in your wallet or near your phone , it will stop working, that’s why they give you a paper so you can wrap it around to keep it stored. Overall this place is not worth your money or your time, many other places near Disney that are worth it , please don’t make the same mistake we did.

My family has stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years and we love the location and free shuttle to Disney! There are restaurants at the hotel and a deli/market that come in handy if you forget any trip essentials. You can also see the fireworks from the pool/parking lot which was great when we brought our 8month old and had to head back to the room early. The price is spot on for comfort and convenience. They charge $22/night for parking (all hotels seem to charge near the parks) The lot is gated and feels secure. The grounds of the hotel are cute and make you feel like you’re going to Disneyland. There was a koi pond and ducklings with a gazebo and plenty of outside space to sit. Yes, sometimes the shuttle pick up is a little confusing but it’s really not that hard to figure out and hey, it’s free! Rooms are clean but a little dated. We loved that there were two sinks and a bathtub. Helps when you have little ones! Our AC wasn’t working well in our room and that was our biggest complaint. They also provided a crib for our baby that was nice. Rooms also have a mini fridge. Overall we will continue to stay here in the future, and we would’ve addressed the air conditioner issue if it was warmer outside/if we were staying more than two nights.

The rooms were fairly standard... Which when you're this close to Disneyland, that's all you can ask for. But the Bar has good food and, I tell you what... I lived in Hotels for almost 2 years and this is the best lounge food I've ever had. EVER. Plus our one man waiter, server, bartender, cashier Valentino handled 2 4 tops, 2 2 tops and an 8 top entirely on his own. Give this man a medal. Or a raise.

Just what we needed for our Disneyland visit! The shuttle to the park is quick and convenient. We appreciated that the shuttle only services Anaheim Majestic. We have stayed at other hotels that share shuttles causing longer runs to the park. The room was large and had 2 sinks which helped us get ready faster. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet. The staff was great!

I had a great experience at the hotel in my first family trip to Disney. We were here for a week. The deli is super convenient. The shuttles take the stress out of getting to and back from Disneyland which at the end of a day at the park is a huge deal. Refrigerator within the room made it convenient to store food and water for later. Finally specially mention for Johnny at the front desk who went over and beyond to share a burn relief gel from his personal store when we arrived late with a burn on hand after the deli was closed. It helped prevent major injury and allowed us to continue uninterrupted the next day. Really appreciate the gesture and made us feel taken care of! I will definitely recommend this hotel for the overall experience - helpful friendly staff, pool and Jacuzzi to relax after a tiring day, cute story lines around the snow dragon which made the experience more magical for my 5 year old. Loved our stay here through and through! This will be our go to destination for all our Disney trips to come!! Thank you!

This was a beautiful hotel for the Christmas season if you are looking for the Disney experience without paying a ton for the Disney Resort. We stayed here while taking our children to Disneyland and the service was outstanding. Everyone working there is really great. The shuttle was very convenient. The rooms were clean, except for the dirty glasses outside the door which didn't get picked up for 24 hours. The hallways, entry ways and elevator desperately need a vacuum though. My reason for the 4 stars is I did not know about the $22/night parking fee. I have yet to understand why hotels charge overnight guests for parking, it's kind of ridiculous. Aside from that I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! The hotel and rooms were clean. The rooms are beautiful and well designed. Everyone is different, but my personal opinion is that the pillows need an upgrade and the mattresses could be a little less firm. The shuttle being free is a huge perk, but don’t rely too much on the scheduled times for the bus. During our stay it wasn’t consistent, so make sure you are aware of that possibility. It’s free so I can’t complain too much. The bar has good simple drinks, I do wish they’d update the menu a bit. I didn’t try the food in the lounge because of the reviews. The Japanese restaurant inside the hotel though was amazing. Highly recommend and make a reservation just in case they get busy. Overall was very pleased with our stay!

We have stayed here the last 3 years for Disney in December. They decorate every inch of the hotel. They also have a Santa and princess for the kids. It's has a bar and restaurant that's open for all 3 meals. They even gave us a coupon to use for 15% off the total cost of our meal. They provide a shuttle to both parks free of cost that runs about every 30 minutes and the staff is always amazing 👏. Thank you for always making our stay great and unforgettable.

Rooms and premises are somewhat tired, could use a spruce up! Meeting rooms are okay however kept very cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had to leave Identification piece with front desk to get a luggage trolley to ensure return!!!! Rooms are not attended to during your stay so items like coffee, cups, tissues, etc are not replenished unless you call for them! Very close to Disneyland, so perfect for families, good pool area and several areas to just sit and relax outside are a nice feature. Quiet however the nightly Disneyland fireworks will definitely wake you up should you retire early!!!

For the most part it was the perfect stay with shuttle and proximity to Disney and decorations. Rooms are worn down. No toiletries. The only weird thing was the shower head that was fixed and not adjustable. The restaurants on site were good with good food and breakfast buffet. I would definitely recommend for a Disney trip.

I absolutely recommend this hotel. We originally wanted to stop across from Disney then changed our minds. This was the best thing we did. The shuttle buses are brilliant. The staff are amazing and the rooms are spacious.

The hotel itself is a little older. But it is beautiful, the garden was lovely and the koi pond was great. I loved that there was a little shop in the hotel it came in very handy during my trip. I loved the room it was incredibly spacious. And the service was absolutely fantastic 👏 We had a small issue with our original room and when I brought it to the front desk's attention they were understanding and wonderful. They put us promptly into a new (upgraded) room to finish out our trip. We were there for a girls trip to Disneyland and honestly I would stay in this hotel again 1000 times over. The shuttle was so convenient and VERY prompt. I never had any reservation about catching the shuttle it was clockwork on time every time. I would definitely recommend this hotel to literally anyone it was lovely.

The hotel itself was very well kept and clean. The rooms had power strips for outlets that didn't even reach the desk. Beds on rails are kind of old school. Great coffee. Shuttle service is outstanding. Courtyards and such are very inviting. I would absolutely stay there again.

We loved this hotel it had a nice ambiance and atmosphere. All staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms were huge and clean lots of natural light. Beds comfortable and the free shuttle was a bonus to the parks. They ran very late and always on time. We felt very safe here. The deli and gift shop was very good and the grounds very pleasant. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and welcoming after a long day at the park. I was charged incorrectly for parking which I noticed when I got home on my visa bill but after contacting the hotel I had a refund show on my visa within a few hours . Definitely staying here next time

First time staying here and couldn't beat the price! The hotel overall was wonderful, the beds are very uncomfortable. My kids really enjoyed the castle bunk beds, the food at the restaurants was good. The hotel provided everything we needed during our down day and we spent all day at the hotel swimming. The view from the hot tub to watch the fireworks is amazing!! The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept! The pool and hot tub were clean. The staff is super friendly, services is quick and everyone was very helpful. The shuttle was free and ran every 30 min and it's a 4 min shuttle ride to Disneyland, the drivers were super friendly. I would stay again, but they definitely need to update their beds!

This was a bad experience in terms of service and solutions. I was just expecting a clean usable room and I got a dirty place that was not cleaned during my stay. Basically you come back tired the first day and they tell you that their policy is that they do not clean the rooms!!! unless you want them to and request that every third day before 9 pm. I did for my third day and guess what... I got no service. My kid had gotten the towels dirty so we got no towels. Then I call the office to complaint and they leave me hanging for 10 minutes. I go down to the lobby and they give me a terrible attitude for asking for fresh towels!!! If you want to get into an old room in which they do not even bother to clean, then this is your spot... Horrible!

For an older hotel, it's in great shape. Shuttle service is convenient if going to Disney. Tiny bathrooms could use exhaust fans, they fog up instantly. They serve a great breakfast in the restaurant, but only breakfast and no room service any longer. But overall, a great place to stay.

Totally serviceable hotel. Shuttles to Disneyland that are frequent and run until 1am. I'm sure there are amenities that are nice, but as a place to sleep between going to the park you might want to choose something cheaper. This place is great if you have family that aren't going to want to be at the park from open to close. Lots of quaint areas to sit and relax.

The location and staff in the banquet hall for breakfast were the only pleasant things we experienced at this hotel. The parking was horrible due to the hotel being under construction and spots were taken / blocked off. The rooms seemed dreary and dark. Not at all like the website photos. The worst part was that we paid additional money and brought our fur kids because it was listed as a pet friendly hotel. The areas for walking pets was not maintained very well because the poo receptacles were covered in cob webs as if they haven't been used or bags replaced in decades. We also found a tick on one of our pets that was not brought with us. Management was notified that they may have a concern. We were told someone would come check out the area around the rooms and the rooms themselves. No one ever showed up even after inquiring a few times. Unfortunately, all the other hotels in the area would not accommodate our party of 5 with pets or we would have gone elsewhere. Thankfully we did not allow this experience to ruin our daughter's birthday.

We just spent 4 days 3 nights here. Our stay was perfect. The shuttle to and from Disney was always on time. The pool was a great bonus for the kids. Food from the deli is delicious also there is a small arcade for the kids. We will definitely stay here again ❤️ PS love the ducks One more thing every staff member was very friendly and helpful!

Stayed mid December 2022. Staff was wonderful, shuttle driver was always pleasant. Having the little store available was very nice and loved the pool. Only complaint was that the sockets on the nightstand were all loose so most of our electronics would not get charged overnight but we made due. I’ve recommended this hotel to friends and family

Five nights for business/pleasure. Masks currently optional inside though strongly recommended by CA. Clean, comfortable, attractive lobby, deli/gift shop, restaurant. Friendly & helpful staff. Shuttle to convention center/Disney. Grounds and pool are beautiful. Dated rooms not an issue for me. However, this is:“Housekeeping will not enter your room but are happy to deliver items upon request.” Be prepared to make your bed & clean your bathroom, call to have garbage picked up outside your door & for new towels, more coffee or toiletries. There is no room service or microwave. You have to use the microwave in the deli (6:30 am - 10 pm) which is a good walk from many of the rooms. I guess you can borrow a vacuum if needed. Just like being at home. I’d say less than 100% vacation mode for Mom. I’d check out other hotels for included services before booking in the future. All things equal, I would stay here again.

  • 4/5 Azalea C. 10 months ago on Google
So far one of my favorite places to stay in, the staff was so nice the entire time, I even ask for a microwave and one of the employees allowed me to use theirs. Every time we had a questions the staff was nice and respond quickly. I would of give them 5 ⭐️ this time but at the moment we check out, the lady at the desk tried to charge us $200 for a service dog, my boyfriend was so confused since at the moment we check in we let them know we had a service dog with us and provide the ID. Once my boyfriend complain and told her that we already signed paperwork for them, she went to speak with her manager and then proceeded to tell us that we should let them know when we arrive, I look at my boyfriend and told her, we did and we already did the paper work. I don’t know if it was her first day but thank God the staff next to her told her we were good since we already provided the ID and that we were good to go without any additional fee.

Room was pretty gross. Dust all over the beside tables, lamps, and television. The housekeeping hadn’t taken a look at the windowsill in months; it was disgusting, especially considering the window had a view of an otherwise pretty courtyard. When we arrived, the bathtub was not draining properly. I told the front desk the morning after our first night about the drain and dust. The girl behind the desk promptly told me she would have it looked at, but didn’t offer any type of apology, which is peculiar for a hotel that labels itself as majestic. Your average Walmart employee will offer a half baked sorry when you ask if an item is in stock. Also, the bathroom sink dispenses water in a shower head fashion instead of a full stream. Pretty pathetic we got budget water conservation faucets that you typically only see in public restrooms when paying so much for what presents itself as a nice hotel. Television is also minuscule compared to the size of the room. It’s been a long time since I saw such a small TV in an American hotel. The elevator was also tiny to a point where more than 2 adults inside becomes a bit awkward. No breakfast included, although the hotel’s restaurant does make very good breakfast. You also have to pay for parking, which is bizarre and unfortunate. The Disney shuttle was prompt and easy to board, but they do a poor job of labeling the shuttle and telling you where to be picked up when you leave Disneyland.

When we called the hotel to ask if they are pet friendly, they told us they were with an up charge, so we asked if there were any specific policies regarding pets. They said there weren't. The policy is that any dogs or cats can NOT be left unattended for any amount of time. We planned on coming back every few hours to let our dog out and give her attention, but they didn't tell us this was not a possibility until after booking, then told us we'd have to pay to cancel our reservation. This is objectively terrible service that they should have rectified by either refunding our bill or by allowing us to have our dog at the hotel unattended for intermittent periods. Just really, really disappointed that the staff failed to let us in on their policy.
