This is currently our favorite place to stay when visiting Disneyland. A few things to know; 1. They do charge for parking but there is plenty of it. Some other hotels in the area run out! 2. It is actually walking distance to Disneyland - Walk south on Walnut, turn left onto Magic Way, and take the second right onto Downtown Drive. Walk directly into Downtown Disney via Downtown Drive. (Do not take the bag check on the left side of the street next to the Stitch Cast Member Lot. That bag check is for Cast members and they'll turn you around back to Downtown Drive). The bag check you'll use is at the end of Downtown Drive (on the East side of the Disneyland Hotel). The walk takes about 10-15 minutes. 3. The hotel has a hot tub to soak in after walking all day. 4. The hotel is clean and super easy to get in and out of. Walnut St is a far less busy area surrounding Disneyland and you won't even feel like you're staying in a tourist location. The bag security area of Disneyland is also way less busy on this side of the park since most everyone uses Harbor Blvd to enter (just don't enter the Mickey and Friend's parking garage). 5. The hotel room has a fridge so pack food to save money. You won't feel like eating out after walking all day. 6. The hotel is in a quiet location of the Disneyland Area. Unlike the hotels on Harbor Blvd, this hotel is located on Walnut St in a diverse middle class neighborhood typical of Anaheim CA. You'll see other Disneyland walkers but not nearly as many as you'd see on Harbor. Other tips... 1. Consider doing what we do - Go to the parks when they first open since the ques are short, leave the parks around noon or 1 pm and rest at the hotel for a few hours, and then go back to the parks in the evening. You'll breeze by hundreds of worn out tourists and save your feet in the long run. 2. If you want to eat out and Downtown Disney is too busy to get a table, consider eating at the Grand California Hotel in Downtown Disney. They have a buffet restaurant and a couple of Cafe's. The prices are a bit steep but there are less people. Additionally, you can access it from Downtown Disney or directly from the California Adventure Theme Park. Hope this helps!

The rooms need some work. Yes, it is a Holiday Inn, but they still could put some more effort into making the rooms look nice. The rooms need some putty and paint in several spots. They need to replace the grout around the shower. They need to get new mattresses. They are very uncomfortable. They also need to put some more outlets in these rooms. There is only one exposed outlet. You have to pull the mattresses back from the wall and dig around to find the others. It was awful! However, it has a fridge, a microwave, a desk, and everything you would need in a room. The staff were very friendly, including the people at the counter and the people cleaning the rooms. The Jacuzzi was nice. The breakfast buffet was actually pretty good. It’s $25 a person, and kids 11 and under eat for free. This place is a 12 minute walk from Disneyland.

I’ve stayed at several hotels near Disneyland over the years and this one was by far the best. Rooms are clean and modern, lots of amenities including fitness center, pool and splash pad for the kids. All the staff are nice and engaging from the check-in desk to room attendants. And the on-site restaurant has great food at reasonable prices. Emilio was our server both days we were here and he was really attentive and friendly. I hope to see him the next time we visit.

When my wife and I checked in on the first night, we had quite a few issues with our room. Our heater didn't work, the bathtub filled up with water, the water didn't get hot, and the smoke detector repeatedly went off. Thankfully, we were placed in a new room the following morning with no issues. The beds are super comfortable, and the Onyx restaurant was our favorite part. We were unaware that when booking your room, you can get breakfast included, which we will do in the future. We went to the Onyx every morning for breakfast and once for dinner. The food was phenomenal, and the service was wonderful. We are appreciative of Maria, Emilio, Sergio, and of course, the cook and the other staff members whose names we did not catch. They were all so kind, friendly and funny. Thank you for making our experience so outstanding! We will definitely be returning here on our next trip. 10-15 min walk from the park depending on how fast you walk. Also the little store market they have in the hotel has everything you need. Reasonable pricing for water, snacks, etc. Staff at the front desk are kind and respectful. Thank you for making us feel welcome. Until next time!

We had 7 people, so we had a 2 bedroom suite. When we went to check in to our room, we were there early. Was told room was not ready until about 3 or 330 came back, 3 PM check in and was still not ready, came back at 4 PM was still not ready. Staff was rude. We had no extra chairs to sit on if we were sleeping on the couch. Both bathrooms had lots of Mold and mildew in the showers and in bath. Air in the second bedroom with the 2 Queen's size. Beds was not working was very, very hot in there.. They make you pay $25 for food vouchers, but when you go to order some of the food they were out, they did not have a very good selection. They're breakfast buffet was not good at all. And when you look around, there was too many kids with their hands in the food. I would never eat that. Sweet ended up wasting $75 in food vouchers that we did not use. I can say I would never recommend or stay at this hotel again.. You get a better experience at the Motel 6 on the other side of the park.

The hotel has $25 /day facilities fee which is not disclosed anywhere. Not on the web-site, not in the reservation confirmation. The breakfast is $22/ person! They tell you kids east free, but after your kids eat they tell you - oh, no, only under 11yo. Paying $22 for a 12 yo who had a piece of bread and cereal is a bit too much even for Anaheim! Oh and yes, the breakfast is your typical free, limited and not so good IHG breakfast. We had 2 queen beds room. Not really queen, more like double. Do not recommend.

Your lovely Hotel was such a beautiful and relaxing place to go. Holiday Inn & Suite's , ❤️.I was there for the funeral and support, loss of life of a beautiful sister, daughter, young mother , an auntie, family and not for the Disneyland experience that clean and very lovely rooms were a bit a distraction from the emotional situation. I swear when the sheets to the duvet to the comforter pillowcases and beyond they were so perfect and felt like a cloud to lay on. Everything in my brother-in-law's room and mine was just as it should be perfect it was a perfect trip everything was great for the reason we had to be there it was definitely a distraction to have such a great room air conditioning was great and it was so hot outside to come back to our room and cool off and then go relax for a little while in the pool Thank you I really wish I knew what kind of sheet those were and that comforter it felt like down but I don't know.

First time staying at this hotel. When I first walked in the doors I was impressed. The hotel was better than I was expecting. However, as soon as I checked in my room I was shocked to find a mickey mouse stuffy wrapped in plastic with a note saying that if the plastic is removed I will be charged $50. THANKFULLY my toddler was not with me. I can imagine this causes a great deal of stress for guests. It caused me to be instantly bothered and dampen the magic. This is unprofessional in my opinion as they have a gift shop by reception. After that it was hard to look past minor things about the hotel like the old elevator that takes for ever or the distance to the park. I would not recommend this hotel to clients.

Location of hotel is great and staff are nice and professional during check- in process and providing amenities. Unfortunately, no free breakfast like other guests have mentioned as well as an additional $25 amenity fee was disappointing. Rooms were outdated and I found some of the towels to have a few stains that looked like pizza oil (orange) stains on them :(. Biggest disappointment was the amount of ANTS in our room. I found them all over the table between our two queen beds! A few on our beds as well! I would expect it to be a bit cleaner and updated from other Holiday Inn’s that I have stayed at in the past. Hopefully some improvements can be made as it is such a great distance from Disneyland.

Wonderful staff, very quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and decent rooms. The pool is VERY warm and nice, the hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after being on our feet all day. It's a bummer that they charge for parking and don't have breakfast, that would be much better. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Disneyland gate (you're right by the parking garage), I would probably stay on the East side of the park if I were to come again (it's a shorter walk). While you're in the area you HAVE to go to the Bronx Sandwich Company, it's the best sandwich I've ever had.

It's unfortunate Disney would consider this a Good Neighbor Hotel. I had high hopes for my stay here and legitimately thought most of the low-star reviews were exaggerated but sadly, many of those reviews are accurate and this hotel failed to meet the most basic needs in my experience. The staff was very friendly and the walking distance to the Disney parks was very convenient but those don't make up for everything else. This hotel is dated and cramped but that was somewhat expected. The long and narrow hallway to the elevator and rooms, which has a door housekeepers frequently go in and out of in addition to the fitness center, is awkward to pass through (especially with a lot of people and/or luggage), occasionally busy and/or noisy, and not very welcoming. It looks like a backroom at first. The elevator is very outdated, including its permit (although the hotel claims recieving a renewed one is out of their control in an answer to a previous review), as well as slow. The first night of our stay we discovered our shower drain was clogged with old hair when we attempted take a clean shower after an exhausting day at the Disney parks. You need to bring your own water. They do not offer free water bottles (which I can somewhat expect and understand from this sort of hotel) and I was directed to the vending machines which were both sold out of water. I appreciate the staff that offered to fill my bottle for me using presumably the staff appliances. The gift shop may sell water but it was not open early in the morning or late at night when we first arrived at the hotel and returned from the parks. Lastly, only one of the two keycards provided worked. Fortunately, I brought both with us before we left the room, otherwise we would have been locked out with a useless key when we returned. If you're planning on visiting the Disney parks, I strongly recommend spending a little more money to stay at a much more well-kept hotel. After a long day at the parks, the last thing you want to worry about is where you rest. It's an investment that you'll thank yourself for later!

There isn't an elevator if they give you a second floor suite. There are only elevators that I saw for some of the regular rooms. The suite was very big and accommodating for all six of us. Well worth the money. We did find some hair on the ground by chance, between the nightstand and the bed when a pair of glasses fell down between there it came up with some hair that none of us had the color of. That was kind of gross. Also the shower handle came off in the master bedroom's bathroom. The sink in the other bathroom had a very difficult to operate handle. Like it was broken. But don't get me wrong, we got a good deal for a HUGE three room suite with two bathrooms and a kitchenette. Not complaining, just pointing out the good with the bad. It's not as close to Disney as we thought but an on demand shuttle can be ordered and there is a bus that runs too. Both of these from right in front of the lobby .

Great location! Very close and short walk to downtown Disneyland and Disneyland Hotel. We've been staying every Memorial Day Weekend for 7 years and have had excellent customer service except this year. We were denied extra room keys when asked as well. Our room had Two queen size beds, small bathroom and a little tight space in general. In the past we've stayed in the character rooms and they are excellent. Cleaning service was good they offered clean towels and other items we requested very quickly and we're very polite. The restaurant on site is great and prices are good. There is a small bar area on site adjacent to the dining area which offers good drinks. My husband is a platinum elite member and usually gets upgraded when requested but this year was very unsatisfied with the service given at the check in desk!

Hotel rooms are older and definitely showing signs of wear and tear. Bedding and bathroom are clean. Air worked perfect had a little trouble with turning the shower on, we reported that when we checked out. The carpet needed attention. All in all the entire room needs an update. Front desk was very friendly as well as the little gift shop attendant. We walked to the parks and back 3 out of 5 days I would say I’m a slow walker and the most it took us was 24 minutes from hotel room to park gates (down town Disney route) Uber/Lyft was so easy and convenient as the week went on and the park drain set in. We are people who go to the parks from rope drop till close so we don’t need fancy just clean. For the price I would definitely recommend booking as long as you can over look a few small things. Let’s be honest we all have days we look better than other I’m sure it happens to building as well.

Old rooms! We stayed for 4 nights in a 2 queen star wars themed suite (which is the highest rate) and then decided to move out to another hotel due to the following: 1. Very old suite that needs renovation ( there was mold in bathroom). 2. Non-operative electrical sockets (2 out of 6 that actually work). 3. No security safe in the room for valuable belongings. 4. No hair dryer. 5. Was not sure what is it about the room that is considered star-wars themed. It was only some stickers around the room, 6 frames of the movie posters. Very basic room! - 6. A self service laundry room that uses card for the washer and dryer which makes it easier to use them, but uses only coins for liquid detergent (Not sure how this should help). 7. Few breakfast selections, complementary water upon request only, one tissue box in the room. This hotel gives you a sense of poorness. 8. The bathroom heater was placed inside the room in a small closet and was not locked with a key when my son opened it accidentally (very dangerous imo). 9. No elevator in this suite building. However, the staff were polite and cooperative, suite contains microwave, some table wear, mini refrigerator, kitchen towels and a coffee machine.

The hotel was in an area close enough to Disneyland so that was very good. The only thing was that the room didn't look like it had been fully cleaned. The bathroom vanity still had some dry foundation makeup on it along with other stains. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The pool and jacuzzi were fun as well. The pool didn't look as clean as it should be though. The water was a bit foggy looking.

Nice suite! Elevator is a bit annoying. Restaurant a bit pricey, but good customer service. Pullout bed from couch not too bad. Spacious. Comfortable. Nicely decorated in Star Wars theme. One other annoyance is light for bathroom is outside of the bathroom. Otherwise, fun experience for the family!

We’ve stayed here several times now, this time around we’ve been more unsatisfied with our stay than before- the pool is closed for the foreseeable future, drained and looks under construction. So if you’re counting on this, then don’t! They also tried to still charge us the resort amenity fee of 25/day when there really aren’t any right now … the rooms are clean and staff are friendly and helpful, but I will say that everything is just a bit run down. Location is fantastic though, very good walking distance to Disney/Downtown Disney.

Fantastic location. Very near to Disneyland. Buses come at the gate for pickup and drop. Rooms were clean. The buffet breakfast has no vegan or vegetarian options. Only fruits and bread available in vegetarian options which is expensive for $23.

Was not aware that there was an Avengers theme to the room when I booked it, was surprised when we walked in and found Avengers bedding on both queen beds, Avengers posters on the walls and an Avengers living room wall. The headboards of the beds are not being cleaned, there was lots of dust and lint and an old tootsie roll on the floor behind one of the headboards. The bed skirts are old and tattered, the carpet is worn out also. The walls are painted far too dark and the lighting is very dim making the room overall dark. The refrigerator was not working. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the pull out bed from the couch wasn't bad.

This was our first stay here and we loved it. We booked the frozen suite and it was nicely decorated and very spacious. We included the breakfast package and the food and buffet was also good. It was about a 10 minute walk to the downtown Disney entrance. We would definitely stay again.

Great location and clean rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful, they also have a restaurant inside but it closes a little early but I understand since I’m sure everyone staying there are at Disney. Over a great place for the price!

While the room left a little to be desired, the hotel overall was great. I have nothing but high praise for the front desk staff, specifically Lukas. Friendly and attentive - he was quick to help and answer any questions. My card declined on initial visit (travel restrictions, oops on my end) and he was understanding and nonjudgemental. The restaurant served some pretty good pizza and kids eat free with an adult meal, my niece loved it. However, no continental breakfast which complicated a few things for the trip, but not a huge biggy. Walking distance to Disneyland if you're daring enough with children (ask Lukas for the secret hint). Would recommend on customer service alone!

The breakfast was amazing! It was a self serve buffet style of hearty foods, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, and more! The staff was very kind and helpful. My family loved the pool and hot tub. It’s within walking distance of Disneyland even with kids. It was a great price, and we were able to prepay for our stay. We will no doubt stay here next time we’re in the area!! I see some reviews mentioning that rooms could be updated. While this is true, they aren’t so bad. Let’s be honest, this hotel is close to Disney, a good budget option, and a comfy place to crash after a full day at Disneyland/DCA. Sure, it’s not a high end hotel, but it was great!

This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. Walkable to Disney downtown and the trams, but 1/3 the price of staying in one of the Disney hotels. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and the restaurant is good. We were very pleased with our stay. You can see some of the Disney fireworks from the pool area. We made the 3 minute drive to the Disney & Friends parking garage each day, but you can easily walk it.

Staff was amazing. Close to Disneyland, but further than a block, I think it’s a very BIG block to the backside of Disneyland, closer to about a mile walk (maybe a little less, maps said .9) No breakfast is included and you pay for parking. The rooms were so cute and whimsical, my grandkids were so excited to see Disney characters as the theme. However, they needed maintenance and updating BAD. We stayed in a family room which was like two separate rooms. The king room had one old plug strip only on one side of the bed, to plug in phones etc. it was located under the bed. Paint was chipped and peeling, curtains were ripped, or stapled up. Shower needed a good scrub with some tiles as there was mold in every corner. The kids room seemed better, but needed some paint etc.
