The element of the House of the mouse is inspiring. But sadly They priced themselves so far out of the game it's become a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For a lower income family it's quite possibly a never in a lifetime. I can live with 3 days of tickets for $350, there's value in that. It's all the surroundings that's just unreal. What used to be magical now hurts for months and months, if not a lot longer. $150 for cheeseburgers and fries for a family of 4, really? $100 for 4 drinks that you can buy the exact same in the store for $15. At what point did greed take over as bad as it is? Is that what Walt envisioned? My one comment won't change anything, but maybe someone is watching. Who knows.

We took the entire family to Disneyland (eleven of us) and really enjoyed our 3 day stay. The staff was very helpful. Our rooms were beautiful and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. They did their best to get all of our rooms close to one another. The kids had a ball discovering all of the special Disney touches in the room. The heated pool and jacuzzi were an extra bonus! The stay was well worth the price! The location is perfect, an easy walk to the theme parks.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Early entry to the park and being able to see the fireworks from our room was great. Everything else was a disappointment. The room was run down and in need of a refresh. The taps did nothing to control the temperature of the water. Housekeeping did a poor job. We had to call down for extra towels every day. They didn't replace the coffee pods, although that might have been a small blessing given how bad the coffee pods were. The room temperatures would go up and down by as much as 7.6C several times through the day and night. The walls are paper thin. It's pretty easy to hear whatever might be happening in the rooms near you and I'm sure my children annoyed more than a couple other guests with their loud moments. I guess there aren't a lot of better options if you want to visit the parks but if we ever go back we'd stay somewhere else.

We had a wonderful stay at the Disneyland Hotel! Service was incredible from everyone we encountered! Our room was large, with plenty of room for our family of four, our stuff and all our shopping. The sofa pulls down to a real twin bed, which looks comfy, but we didn't use it. Our two queen beds were soft and cozy with nice crisp white linen. Pillows were wonderfully soft and fluffy. Disney touches all over the room including the headboard which we used as a magical night light. The pool is great, with waterslides, hot tub and poolside drink and food service. The gift shop had a few things we didn't see in the parks. This stay was well worth the splurge!

Wonderful experience!! Went for a week with my family to celebrate my birthday, and we had the best time. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We brought our 9month old and asked for a place to warm up bottles and they brought us a microwave and a bottle warmer!! The walk across the street to downtown Disney was perfect. We will definitely be back

Customer service was amazing! Loved Tori! So nice. The rooms were nice. Hotel so convenient to the park. Loved it here. Only thing was the water pressure for shower kind of sucked. But definitely recommend!

We had the most incredible stay at the hotel! Everyone who works here is always so helpful and kind. My daughter didn’t have a mask at the store inside the hotel and an employee came and gave her a mask without us asking. I love how thoughtful they were without making it a big deal. Our room was absolutely unbelievable. The walk to the parks is enough to always stay at this hotel every time we visit. I cannot say enough good things about our time at Disneyland hotel!

I knew the Disney experience would be great at this hotel and it was. Service was excellent, kind, and super kid-friendly. Rooms were big clean, and great for families. But the over the top magical moment for us was at the end of the night when we turned out the last light and it played a sweet melody and then turned on a "nightlight" of twinkly fireworks above the headboards. Fantastic stay. We will be back

We love this place. We chose this hotel for the early entry and immersion into all things Disney. In a world of chaos we love disappearing into the world of Disney and just enjoying ourselves. Disneyland Resort offers the immersion and amenities for our escape. Rooms are always clean and staff is always friendly. The first night we came into our room and Mickey cookies with milk were provided. The kids of course loved it and it just brings that good feeling of magic to start off the trip.

Its was just okay. I would give it 3 1/2. The location is perfect. We had an issue with our room that was by far not ideal but the manager immediately put us in another room. Yes, I had to ask for a manager. No room service. Pool was nice. The other issue was late check out but you can imagine the speed they need to turn over rooms so they weren't able to accommodate. That being said, 4 out of every 5 cast members were beyond helpful. I would recommend but set expectations.

This place was amazing from the start! It was clean, smelled good, and the staff was always friendly. At one point I needed feminine products and they had no problems bringing it up to my room! My family and I enjoyed the room service. Only thing that wasn't worth it was eating at Goofy's Kitchen. The price and quality of the food didn't translate. But staying there and going to the parks and experiencing downtown Disney was great! We can't wait to go back. They made both my daughter's time here unforgettable. Thank you again!

The location was great. That's about the only positive from our experience. When we first arrived to our room it was clear that it wasn't cleaned. There was food left in the fridge. There was food all over the floor under the beds. The bathtub had crud in it. We contacted guests service multiple times and they finally sent someone up to clean. They never did clean the food from under the beds. The bathtub wouldn't drain and the water would go from very cold to scalding hot randomly. We had an in room birthday celebration set up for my daughter for the last night we were there. It never happened. Guest service told us we needed to call a separate number to set that up. Just having it on our reservation wasn't sufficient. Needless to say I don't recommend Disneyland hotels! Disney claims to be a premium brand however I put it on par with super 8 or motel 6!

This place is beautiful. The property is full of lush green trees, while walking around the pool it felt like you were in Hawaii.( just my opinion.) Rooms or nice. Restaurant and bar located just outside the rooms near the pool. I believe there are three or four themed rooms. Having a pool this nice with water slides were a huge plus after a long day at the park.

I love staying here so much! It's always such a great time and the staff is absolutely accommodating and lovely. They are on top of the cleaning and making sure everything is sanitized according to protocol. Everything you need is available in case you forget something. I can't say enough great things about staying here.

I have to say the staff was amazing. I accidentally dropped the case for my AirPods down the elevator, they fell between the elevator and the floor outside of it, see photo for gap. I went to the desk and they called engineering who then called out an elevator company the next day to retrieve them. This was totally unexpected and was amazing. It was on $100 for a new case. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms seem a little dated but are still nice. Valet parking is $75 a night and I think self parking is $35 which is crazy. I was there for a conference. The conference center seemed a little outdated as well but a nice venue.

First time at the Disneyland hotel in a premium view concierge room and it was magical. The view was spectacular. The cast members at the E-ticket were more than amazing. They were welcoming, helpful, and kind. Robert was just Fabulous and Karen at the desk was delightful, both always ready to assist. Thank you for your hard work. We appreciate it a lot!

Loved staying here for our 20th anniversary, and our son’s first stay and visit at the park. They brought up a mini crib for our son. Loved all the decor, and touches that made our stay feel magical. Our son felt more comfortable at this hotel than any other hotel we stayed at along the way and on the way home. The pool area was nice and clean. We will return again to stay at the Disney Parks! Thanks for such a magical time!!!

Great for staying on site. Mid priced range compared to grand Californian and paradise pier. For the price you pay, better coffee creamer would be nice. Great pool and two eateries on site. Right outside of the entrance to downtown Disney so perfect to line up in the morning for your early morning entry (would get there by 6:45).

Always top notch. Every staff member is a joy to interact with. They are genuinely happy to help and it makes the stay amazing. If you do chose to stay here, I highly recommend putting out the extra money for access to the E-ticket lounge. It is open everyday from 6am-10am for coffee, drinks and snacks with special snacks etc for breakfast, lunch time, dinner and evening dessert timed to coincide with the amazing view of the fireworks.

The Disneyland Hotel is amazing! It’s beautiful there and SUCH a convenience to/from the parks. The rooms aren’t mind blowing..but they are nice and the beds are really comfy. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, which made for a pleasant stay. The grounds are landscaped beautifully (the outdoor fireplace RULES), and the interior of the hotel was all dolled up for the winter holidays - truly a magical little delight to walk through! It really feels like you are in the gateway to Disney, which contributed to the immersive experience for us all! The ability to go back to the hotel for a nice break was a lifesaver! S/O to the cocktails at Trader Sam’s! They were also a (delicious) break time lifesaver.

This place was phenomenal! The hotel room was beautiful and so was the pool! We got a little confused as to which tower we were actually staying in at first but the staff was extremely kind and helpful in finding the right way. The hotel was quite a bit further than I expected it to be from the Disneyland Parks, having to walk through the whole Disney Downtown District, but all in all it was a great stay with great service and the walk wasn't too bad because there was always something that grabbed my attention

This resort is beautiful. The rooms are themed perfectly with Mickey Mouse faucet handles, shower handles, lamps, and carpeting. The back board behind the beds is wonderful and our daughter loved it: The castle with lights that look like fireworks and it plays music for a minute like a music box. The thermostat worked well for us and our view of the Tiki Bar and the hotel pool was amazing. We got to stay in Adventure tower and it was so fun. The entire hotel is themed really well and the resort is planted beautifully so it looks like a jungle. It really is walking distance from the parks and right next to downtown Disney, allowing easy access to everything. The monorail is not in the hotel but right outside of it in downtown Disney.

We booked the Villas at Disneyland Hotel! This resort is our favorite and have stayed here over half a dozen times, we have also stayed at the other Disney resorts, but this one has our hearts. The new Villas tower is amazing! The detail they put into this building was nothing short of spectacular. It was just my wife and I, we got the deluxe studio with a balcony and it was more than enough room for both of us and all our stuff. You still have access to all the other amenities around the Disneyland resort, but everyone else doesn't have access to the Villas tower. If you're a Disney fanatic, you can't go wrong with booking this tower/villa. You won't be disappointed!

The best part was Early Entry to the park! The only bad thing is when the monorail broke there was no tram to take you back to the hotel, only outside parking lots and we are parked at the hotel. It also closes at 12am so if you're on a ride when the park closes you are walking back! There is no transportation back to the hotel if you are in CA Adventure. Be prepared to walk through Downtown Disney, otherwise a wonderful stay!

Just a first class operation and wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a beautiful view of the pool area. You are right next to downtown Disney and about a half mile walk to the park. You can take the monorail if that's too far. Plenty of dining options on property or nearby.

So convenient to fully enjoy everything Disney has to offer. Although half of the pool area was being renovated it was still a really nice experience. Goofy s kitchen had surprisingly good food. We got a room facing the front of the resort which provided a great view of the fireworks. My only complaint is the couch bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I could feel all the springs. I probably would have been better off sleeping on it in its couch form. I would stay again. Love the Disney level of service.

With Downtown Disney steps from this resort, this is the perfect way to take your Disney vacation to the next level! And just inside security is the monorail that will take your right into the park. On site you will have dining, a great coffee shop, and an expansive pool complex to take advantage of on a rest day from the park. Parking is rather expensive and not included in the hotel rate, which is frustrating. But there really is nothing else to be negative about, this resort is just expertly managed with excellent staff.

This review is specific to the hotel pools, since we rented a pool cabana for an afternoon (yes, that's a thing you can do, but verify if you must be a resort guest). Hands down, a cabana is the way to go to have a little privacy away from excited and playing children. I'm old, I like my relaxation! Three great pools for families offering a variety of locations and a tall, retro water slide. I'm very impressed with the lifeguards that take their work seriously, not something I've seen at other hotel pools. Returning to the cabana, our space included a shady lounge complete with TV, ceiling fan, mini fridge stocked with bottled water and wash cloths for cooling. A fruit plate was offered along with menus for food and drinks. Two lounge chairs and a sectional sofa gave us options for sun or shade; a couple of my guests enjoyed some catnaps. Comparatively, the cabanas and pools are not as elegant as at the Grand Californian, but that isn't really a complaint just a contrast. The food was good for poolside fare, the drinks could have been a little stronger, but nonetheless we had a great time. One problem the upper pool does have is afternoon shade from the new DVC tower. Just keep that in mind if you intend to use it off season when the sun is lower in the sky.

I mean what can you say, it's a Disney hotel and Disney just does things right! We stayed in the Fantasy tower which was super convenient. We had 5 adults in the room but it still felt spacious, larger than the average hotel room floor plan. The headboards are just to die for, what a nice touch. Great service all around. Trader Joe's Enchanted Tiki bar is a must do! The pools were a great temperature and clean. Super easy access to the parks, there is a lineup in the mornings to get through security but it wasn't awful, the line was always moving. Highly recommend!

This is our favorite hotel. The rooms are more spacious than the other hotels. The quality and service are superb, and it's the perfect location for park access. It's very close to the monorail for riding into Disneyland, and it's close to the Grand Californian hotel, which has both excellent restaurants and access to California Adventure Park. If you choose, you can also walk from the hotel through Downtown Disney district and shop and eat all the way to both Parks' main entrances. The pools at the Disneyland hotel are also better, larger, cleaner, than other resorts, in my opinion. The last two trips we have stayed in the family suites, and they are perfect for larger families. The beds are so comfy. The amenities are wonderful. We have also taken advantage of the E-ticket lounge, concierge service (club level amenities). I do really enjoy the food and beverage service, and the private hangout space outside of your room to enjoy snacks and watch the fireworks. We stay at this hotel at least twice per year. It's fantastic!

The Disneyland Hotel is a fantastic place to stay for anyone looking to experience the magic of Disneyland. With its prime location just steps away from the park, it offers convenient access to all the fun and excitement of the resort. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a classic and elegant atmosphere that captures the spirit of the park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring all the amenities you would expect from a top-notch hotel. One of the standout features of the Disneyland Hotel is its pools, which are beautifully landscaped and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the park. The hotel also offers a variety of dining options, from quick bites to fine dining, making it easy to satisfy any craving. Overall, I would give the Disneyland Hotel a rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay close to the park and enjoy a comfortable and memorable experience. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey, but for the location and quality of the accommodations, it's well worth the investment.

What a great hotel! We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back! It’s about a 10 minute walk to Disneyland and it’s a beautiful walk past downtown Disney with plenty of beautiful plants, music and shops for a fun vibe. The hotel rooms were a little bit more spacious than a typical hotel. There was construction going on but it didn’t bother us at all. The pools are fun and there is a great kids area with slides and shallow (less than 1 foot deep) area for kids to run around under falling water. Goofy’s restaurant is located on site which is super fun and has a delicious buffet with character dining. There is also a coffee shop to grab something quickly on the way to the park. One of our favorite places was a large fire place outside with cozy chairs for lounging. The other restaurant on site (Trader Sam’s) looks very fun but we didn’t eat there. It overlooks the pool with a great patio.

The location was great, the only interaction we really had to do was baggage with the bell hop. Everything else (check-in, keys, checkout) was through the app which was awesome. The digital key (via phone) was not perfect. It wouldn't work on my phone at times but did for my husband. So if it's not working I do suggest going to get a key card.

One of the best hotel experiences that I ever had. From checking in, to cleanliness, to making sure that we were always fully stocked on towels and the likes the folks and Disneyland Hotel really are the best. It's a short walk into the parks and it's really well worth every penny. The tiny details that this place add into each room really makes the magic of Disney even more special.

The last two times I’ve stayed here was great back in 2017-2018. But recently the stay here has been different. The staff aren’t as helpful and the rooms seems to get and feel dirtier , last stay on Christmas room was filthy in shower and headboards and had a distinct smell, for the price you pay and it being “Disney hotel” I expected more. Only plus is being next to the park! I know check in time there is I believe around 3 or 4 but didn’t get in till 6 .

There were cockroaches in our room! I saw two in the late evening. One was on the sheets that scurried into the bed frame. Yuck! We were promptly given another room. Later, I found out they checked the room and found no roaches … of course, that was during the day. Since they are nocturnal, it’s likely they were hiding in the frame. I speculate that the next guests were likely checked in right away without further investigation. Blech! My youngest child ended up with gastroenteritis. I don’t know if this was caused by roaches on the bedding, but it’s possible. We had to pay a half day rate for an additional five hours so that he could recover before moving on to our next destination, moving to a third room. It was chaotic. Otherwise, the bell service was prompt and courteous.

Nice rooms with a great series of pools. Conveniently located near the monorail and Downtown Disney. We had some issues with the shower maintaining temperature but otherwise the rooms were nice. Overall, we liked the amenities, rooms, and convenience of the Grand Californian more than the Disneyland Hotel but the Disneyland Hotel is probably more "kid friendly" and definitely cheaper.
