I fell in love with this place! We have been here twice now to go shore fishing, which I am barely getting back into, and although we only got baby cats we aren't done exploring and hopefully going to visit with a boat which I think is the better option for fishing but I will definitely keep trying the shore till I find what works best. Restroom were clean too and for ladies that is important!

Nice family park. Came on a weekday and there were lots of families. Still plenty of parking and places to camp. I camped close to the restroom. There was toilet paper and paper towels. The sink works and the toilet flushes. It was cleaner than most park restrooms. Most everyone left when it got dark. Mine was one of three cars left when I piched my tent. Slept good all night no noises that I heard of. Never saw any police. Had a permit but didnt seem to need it. Will camp there again.

We have a cabin in Anahuac and my family, the Nash's have over 150 years of history here. Anahuac Park is a great place for several activities, the newest being the water park or splash pad for kids. There is a good fishing pier and boat ramp in the park. A playground for the kids and a nice baseball park. Anahuac is a great town for families. We currently live close to Waco, Texas but are considering moving to Anahuac permanently. Thought I would throw in a picture of our boy Gator enjoying the splash pad.

Today we came here to fish to relax, the sea water is very shallow, my children can swim, but need to be careful when moving from the shore to the outside because there are a lot of seashells on the bottom. You can camp at night. That would be great.

Love this place. My wife and I had our wedding reception at the hall here at the park. You can rent the pavillions as well. Very spacious and clean. We don't live too far away, so it makes for a nice motorcycle ride out there. At the front of the park, there are some military flags amd a huge artillery weapon that make it nice to pull your motorcycle up to for pictures.

Visited Gator Fest. We all had a blast. Road Air Boat. 5 yr old granddaughter road the rides. Saw live gators, and other reptiles from Gator Country. Saw the petting zoo animals, they also had a Kangaroo. Will return in the future again.

We attended The Gator Fest and had a blast. Really loved the Gator show. Very exciting and educational. So many vendors with great products. The only suggestion I have is the Medical Tent was set off the main thoroughfare. My daughter and I had heat exhaustion even though the temps were under 100 that day. Thank goodness my husband found them. They had high speed fans set up with cots, wet towels and cold water. We were able to get our temperature under control and rehydrate. Thank you to the Chambers County EMS Dept and the volunteers.

I enjoy Fort Anahuac Park. The Playground is always clean and the grass around the picnic area is always pretty well manicured. The restroom, well I can't really complain because it is a free public restroom so I give it five out of five flushes.
