I ordered tomato basil soup and salmon Benedict. Soup was so hot and delicious, and egg Benedict was so fresh and eggs were perfect. Hash brown was one of most delicious things I have ever had. Servers are friendly and clean inside I loved it

The available brunch options are fantastic here! You'll love the Eggs Benedict! If you're on the fence about ordering a Mimosa, do it! They're actually really good here and help complete your meal. The hashbrowns aren't amazing, but that's not the draw to this place. Come check it out, but make room for it in your schedule. Expect to wait 60 - 90 minutes before you can be seated, even with a table for 2.

Almost every blog and YouTube video recommended this place for breakfast/brunch, however, our personal experience has not been so great. After waiting for 1 hr 15 minutes we got seated at a tight spot near the kitchen counter. Food is just average, and service is subpar. I'd recommend try a different place that is not crowded with tourists.

I was a solo traveler in Alaska for a few weeks… i only spent a night in Anchorage and grabbed a meal here- based on a recommendation from a local. It was a great choice as I would absolutely love to have another of these burgers now that I’m thousands of miles away. I got their spicy jalapeño/avocado burger and it was super flavorful. I couldn’t choose between two different items on the menu and the waitress strongly suggested this burger and I am thankful… it came with hash browns and they were also amazing! Fun, happy, colorful place in a convenient location. If i lived here, this would likely be a regular for me.

The wait was TOO long so we put our name down and they said 2 hrs. We went to do some sightseeing and souvenir shopping. Came back and ordered a few drinks to keep us occupied. The food was OK… the kids ordered chicken and waffle and it was not good. I had the salmon berry salad (salmon portion was small and a bit dry), but the creamy tomato soup was very good. The chicken and waffle had a THICK layer of batter and drenched with sauce and the waffles were soggy. The manager comped us and we ordered cinnamon rolls to go. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We would not go back.

We came here for brunch before departing for the airport. It is a busy place, but the wait was less than 15 minutes. The four of us split a large cinnamon roll with icing. Extraordinary! Warm and melting icing. Our brunch choices were, The Cluck Norris (chicken apple sausage, fresh spinach, caramelized onion, tomato, white cheddar), Snow City Oatmeal, and Eggs and Bacon. Not a bad thing to say for any of them! Great tasting and nice portions. Great server with an even better attitude! Try this spot for the atmosphere, flavors, and friendliness.

The Snow City Cafe opens at 6:30AM. I arrived at 6:45 and got one of the few tables left in the place (and the restaurant is not small.). I ordered the special, the Kodiak Benedict (pictured), which looks amazing! Alaskan red king crab cakes and poached eggs sound great. There were two problems, though. It took over an hour for my food to get to my table. Yes, the restaurant was busy, but the table next to me was vacant when I sat down. A couple was seated next to me, ordered and ate their breakfast, paid their bill and left all while I was still waiting for my order. Waiting that long would dampen just about anyone's enthusiasm for their food. After an hour, my Kodiak Benedict finally arrived, which brings me to the second problem. The breakfast didn't taste great. I was not sorry I was eating it (mostly because I had been sitting there for an hour), but the food itself just wasn't great. And it if you're charging people $27 dollars for breakfast, it should be great. So also a pretty big letdown there. So, in short, the food at Snow City Cafe is not great. Sadly, the service is even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. There are many other terrific breakfast spots in town. I'm sorry that I've missed out on one of the others by choosing to eat at Snow City Cafe.

Stopped by lunch after spending time on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. I didn't have a reservation and there were people waiting, but was seated within 15 minutes. The wait wasn't bad as they have the coffee bar up front, so was able to grab a smoothie and tea while waiting. Upon getting seated, Jamin was our server and he did a great job. He was very friendly, helpful, engaging, and made some good recommendations. Everything looked good on the menu, but finally decided on the Farmer's Omelet, Soup & Salad combo, Tundra Scramble, and Salmon BLT. The Soup and Salad combo was the Berry Salmon Salad and Cream of Tomato with Pesto Soup. Everything was very good, but my favorite was the Soup & Salad combo as it allowed me to try two different dishes in smaller portions. All the food was very good, made with fresh ingredients, and plated well. The soup was my favorite dish as it was very creamy and flavorful. Overall, very good service and food. It was crowded, but the tables were moving quickly. Use the wait time to enjoy a coffee, tea, or smoothie.

Awesome restaurant with tons and tons of vegan options. Would totally go again., Please call ahead of time and add yourself to the waitlist. We went on a Saturday morning @10am and had one hour of wait time.

The pecan rolls are phenomenal here. I also had the best eggs Benedict on top of salmon cakes. Expect to wait awhile for a table so don't come too hungry. Make sure to order hash browns as they were perfectly salted and crispy.

Although this restaurant is styled a a cafe, I think the better description is an upgraded diner. Although we got to Snow City before 9AM, the place was packed. I think we got the last table. Service was fast and friendly. Coffee and tea were good and the choices were numerous and it neighbors food all looked tasty. We really enjoyed the eggs Benedict and the bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Eclectic decor and they have plastic dividers between booths which is a very nice feature. Great place for breakfast/ brunch, but expect a wait if you're later in the morning.

I came here in May from the recommendation of a local friend. They were very busy but we didn't have to wait that long to be seated. The service and food were both great. Wish my stay was longer so I could've gone back for another meal. This is a local favorite and I see why!

Lil bit of a wait but good places are generally pretty busy. That said, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Get the heart attack on a plate!! Great flavor, plenty of food! Might be my new favorite breakfast spot.

Snow City Cafe is highly rated for a reason. Great breakfast options. Worth the wait if you are a tourist. Make sure to join the waitlist early. For a party of two, we joined the waitlist online at 8:30am and finally got seated at 10:50am. I ordered the Eggs Benedict on crab cakes and English Muffin, with some hash browns. It was delicious. Highly recommend checking this cafe out.

Great breakfast restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. Everyone in my group loved their food including Sticky Buns, Eggs Benedict, French Toast, and Hash Browns. This is a popular spot, and people were waiting 90+ minutes to be seated. We arrived at 9:00am and weren't seated until 10:00am. Would recommend, but plan to wait on the weekends.

Very popular spot. The staff is pleasant and energetic. They serve Kaladi Brothers Coffee which is named for the Ethiopian goatherd credited with discovering the plant. Great coffee! I’ve been here several times and my favorite is the Stuffed French Toast. It’s rich, decadent and will keep a cardiologist gainfully employed. It’s faster to grab a seat at the counter. Morgan took great care of us on Memorial Day. I look forward to trying the entire menu!

Always as expected ~ there’s a hype for a reason, the food is fresh and mouth watering! Great breakfast spot. While I usually always order the heart attack (loaded hash browns), I tried something new this last time and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since! The açaí bowl, yummm

Pretty solid place. We had the salmon eggs Benedict and French toast. The menu was expansive so it was really hard to choose! Brewed coffee was strong. 😅 there was no wait when we got there but there were quite a lot of folks waiting when we left so go early if you don’t want to wait. Service was pretty good. Would come back!

The food, service, and vibe lived up to the hype. The spicy popper omelet was great balance of heat from the peppers and creaminess from the cheese. Going back at least once more on the trip. One of the staff also gave awesome advice about fat tire biking.

Cute little breakfast restaurant for all of your favorite breakfast staples. I had an omelet which came with hash browns and toast, and it was quite a lot of food! Our server was very nice as well. The restaurant and clean and lively. The only suggestion I had is that the music was a bit too energetic for a morning breakfast...I would prefer some softer music for the morning. However, it would not stop me from returning for another meal. Great place overall!

A nice local spot that travelers like as well. Nice atmosphere with a little bit of a wait. Big portions fir the price. Pancakes are huge. Lots of French Toast with the Polar Express. The jam on the table hit the spot, very nice surprise. Their brew tea wasn't great was the only complaint.

Loved it. Bustling and busy, but quick and attentive service. Everyone was friendly through the whole process. Food was amazing as well. I got the fried egg sandwich and a pecan sticky bun. So good! The coffee was your basic bitter, brown, hot cup of joe. Not my favorite, but that was the only part of the experience hat was below 5 stars for me.

My husband and I went here on a date after I crashed his work trip a few years ago. We returned with my in-laws and wanted them to try it. I highly recommend steamer (steamed milk) and reindeer omelette. The reindeer literally tastes like sausage, but superior is the best way to describe it (sorry Rudolph)

First time here and it was delicious. There was almost an hour wait so I recommend getting on their wait list in advance of arriving particularly on the weekends. Many items can be made or ordered vegan so this spot is great for mixed groups. Staff was friendly. If we have time on this trip we will def be back.

EGG-sell-ant restaurant indeed. If there is a weight, trust me and my relentless desire to find great food, it’s worth every second. Take the time to pursue through the menu, people watch or look at the poster/billings to inform yourself about amazing local events. My mead was as pictured and prior to being devoured and delighted. Grilled cheese was amazing -they could make a reality tv show on just how they made it! Soup, mmmmwaaaa as we say in the lower 48. Enjoy the food, can’t go wrong and y’all come back ya hear! Please Mark as helpful and follow. I’d like to start a podcast in my travels so I need to see if there is interest

Snow City Cafe has amazing food! First time in Anchorage and decided to give it a try. We came on twice and had the Tundra Scramble with amazing reindeer sausage, and another day we had the Avocado toast and an egg Benedict. Everything was delicious and accommodating our gluten free allergies! Definitely highly recommended for you foodies!!!

Snow city café was my first meal during my trip to Anchorage. I came just before opening already a decent size line so plan ahead. There’s street parking parking lots and parking structure nearby. I was a little shocked that a breakfast for one person was over $20. Perhaps that is normal for the area. Great tasting food though and I enjoyed Benedict immensely.

Food and coffee were great. Highly recommend the omg bacon! Warm and cheerful atmosphere, which is absolutely lovely on a cloudy rainy day. In the summer there is often a long wait - you can join the waitlist ahead of your arrival via Yelp, or via a link on the Snow City website

The restaurant gets extremely busy in the summer months and they don’t accept reservations during this time. We called about an hour and a half to be placed on the waitlist. They send you a link to a live update of the waitlist, which is really nice so that you can manage your time better. We love getting brunch here and usually end up getting the same thing, but today we decided to change it up: my husband got the spicy popper omelette, my mom and I got an avocado toast with two over east eggs on top and hash brown on the side, my dad a Farmers market omelette, and half a portion of stuffed French toast to share. Everything was delicious, the coffe, as usual is wonderful as well. Service was pleasant and fast.

They’re busy! But it’s worth the wait! We had the farmers market omelette and the crab eggs Benedict, and both dishes were awesome! That was a lot of food for me so I was full for awhile.

Love the space. Cozy and welcoming. I had half & half free options of egg Benedict with hash brown. It was DELICIOUS!!! And the staff is extremely friendly and nice. I’d definitely come back again if I am traveling to Anchorage again!!

Delicious food, though it took a while to get. Waitress also messed up the order. We thought she might be new. Coffee drinks in regular glasses was a different touch. Huge portions. Somewhat limited parking (paid) but easily accessible. Mask mandate in effect from front door until you get to your table , but cafe supplies one if you forget your own. The first photo is the Heart Attack on a Plate. The second is Salmon and Crab Eggs Benedict. Both are highly recommended! I was told this place is very hard to get a seat at during the summer. We were there in February and there was no line.
