So far so good. 2 visits in, and I have no desire to go anywhere else. Adam the dentist seems to do a great job, and he's down to earth. Lena is calming. The Admins worked with me to send in the maximum claim to insurance. Everyone is nice. The place is clean. They use a couple tricks during the procedures to help calm you down, which are simple yet effective, and I'm shocked I haven't seem them used before. I almost look forward to going to the dentist now, just cause of the friendly staff there. Keep it up :)

Let’s be honest. I’ve had some really poor dental experiences in my past that kept me away from the dentist. For the last year I’ve been coming to see Dr. Jensen and he’s completely changed my mind about dentistry. I’m not talking about cleanings… no, I’m taking about fillings, crowns, and the stuff we all try to avoid. The kind of thing that use to make my skin crawl and get me super anxious. The office is modern, clean, and the entire staff is there to make your experience a great one. It’s actually RELAXING to be there. Here’s my advice, if you’ve had some bad dental experiences in the past, or if you don’t enjoy going to the dentist, give Dr. Jensen and his team a chance to earn your business. They’re a bunch of really awesome people that love what they do, love alaska, and love their clients. It’s like going to hang out with a bunch of friends while keeping your teeth healthy. If you don’t have that experience where you’re at now, give Chugach dental a call.

If you are looking for a family dentist, look no further! The team at Chugach Dental is the crème de la crème of dentistry. After years of neglecting my teeth and knowing I had more than a few cavities, had me feeling embarrassed and quite nervous. But upon meeting Dr. Adam and Lena, his amazing dental assistant, who both made me and my husband feel safe, comfortable and at ease with all our oral issues has been a great relief. Every time we have an appointment, you walk in to smiling faces at the front desk, who make sure you will be known and remembered every time. My favorite part is when Lena comes out to greet you with an amazing smile and you feel like you have known her your entire life, as she ushers you back, you see amazing photos of Alaska, which I’m pretty sure Dr. Adam captured himself, for he is an Alaskan loving adventurer, which you notice and love, and before long, your situated in your chair, the whole time Lena is waiting with you and talking with you and carries on the conversation from when you last visited, as if no time has passed. Soon after, Dr. Adam comes in with his soft, smooth voice and grounding presence, feeling like a warm hug. He is so knowledgeable and so patient, as he answers all your “well thought out questions” and/or issues you may be embarrassed about, making sure you don’t feel alone and at ease as he explains the plan. When you lean back in the chair and you see them both above, you realize these two have such great communication and have a true friendship. For me, it’s not always just about the service or the procedure, I take in the whole experience, and observing them, you can tell just how much they trust and respect each other and you see it represented throughout the whole team, witnessing every patient that walks through being cared for with understanding and compassion from the time they first walk in to when they leave. It’s been a great experience and makes you feel special and proud to know they are the ones taking care of you. Click back to their smiling eyes above as they begin your procedure, seeing Lena and Dr. Adam, you see their amazing synergy as they may talk about their pets or when they are going out fishing, hiking, flying next or just catching up on what they did yesterday after work, at the same time gently working to make sure all your needs and issues are met, noting, checking in often to make sure your comfortable as they progress through your procedure, and at the same time, you not even noticing the instruments handed back and forth so smoothly between the two of them, because you’re too busy listening to their conversation and so badly wanting to join in, but you can’t due to you’re mouth being wide open lol. Before you know it, your chair lifts and Lena hands you a warm mint scented damp towel to soothe your face and/or neck (so lovely) but also a bitter sweet moment because you realize you can’t hangout with them all day lol. Dr. Adam says his goodbyes after making sure you’re happy and feeling good. Lena then walks you back towards the front, but you see another friendly face from your last cleaning, for me it’s Melissa, who has given me a new found love for cleanings due to her flossing technique especially, she takes a moment to say hi and asks how are things and she may say something to make Lena laugh, which carries down the hall for others to hear who can’t help but smile by the sound of her laughter. As you check out, you realize that you have to wait a bit before your next appointment, which they make sure is set up before you head out, and you think to yourself “I hope I get to come back soon”, but knowing it’s not possible from the work they all do to ensure that that doesn’t happen easily. You then think, “I can crash on husband’s next appointment”. It’s been a great relief to find this team! I am so very grateful for everything they do and knowing we have Dr. Adam and his team that we trust caring for our oral needs in future years to come is amazing!

I was in urgent need of a dental repair unfortunately it was Friday night. I went online reached out to a handful of dental offices. Sunday afternoon Dr. Jensen called me and said his office could see me Monday at 9am. I walked out with my chipped front tooth looking good as new. Truly the best experience I have had in a dental office in many years. Absolute Rock Stars! I now have a dental team for preventive care. Thank you!

Excellent care and service. Everyone has been friendly and kind! My concerns were heard and alleviated. Dr. Jensen was caring and gentle and made the experience as good as possible. I highly recommend! I’ll definitely be returning to have additional work done when needed.

I had a great experience Chugach Dental! The staff are so very patient and helpful; I get very anxious when going to the dentist, so having them check in with me throughout the whole process was really eye-opening. On my very first visit to the office, the dentist corrected my Invisalign retainer and followed up later that week to see how the retainer + my gums were holding up. My whole family went to see Dr. Jensen recently for the first time and had such a wonderful experience. Dr. Jensen thoroughly explains everything to his patients and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. His office is clean and inviting. We loved Lena his dental assistant as well. Even my nineteen month old had a pleasant experience. We are so glad we found Chugach Dental and will definitely be going back from now on.
