I give this place 5 stars not just because of the beauty of the facility or the wonderdul educational programs, but also because of the customer service and the exceptional people who work here. I was in a bind with lost car keys and phone locked in my car and Eric Stewart and the other ranger working today went above and beyond to help me out. Thank you for all you do!!

Went here with a group of kindergartners for a field trip today. It was absolutely amazing, all of the kiddos had fun and learned a ton! The guide for our group was Brad and he was amazing. Kids were entertained for the entire time and got lots of energy out. Fun games, and nature related activities that were fun for the kiddos and educational. What an amazing experience. I went there as a kid myself as well and I can't say enough amazing things about this facility. Thanks for getting the kids excited about the amazing state we live in.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Building was clean. They have so many cool and educational things there for kids (eggs, furs, nest, etc) Plus lots of educational pamphlets and trail maps.

We went for a school field trip. Brad was our guide for the day. Brad was engaging and really spoke to the kids on their level. Every activity was centered around the kids and their age group. He did his best to keep their attention while also educating them, not only about the different animals and habitats, but the safety precautions we need to take as visitors and fellow conservationists. The trails were clear and well maintained, and signs were posted along the trail as to where we were allowed to walk safely. Dogs are allowed on leash, but there were a couple not leashed but very respectful. We also saw people riding bikes on the trails - very cool. We can not wait to return with our family to explore further! That's a "Brad Promise"

There is such a wide range of things happening around here, from interesting historical lectures and painting nights to field trips for a variety of ages. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and relaxed. They helped our school group feel comfortable on the trails and were accommodating to some of our students' unique needs.

Cool place for kids - not a lot to do, but it's quiet and they can learn a few things. A nice punctuation mark on the nearby hikes available.
