I ordered the denver omelette, a simple staple in most breakfast places. It came with an order of potatoes and pancakes. The eggs came burned and wasn't even an omelette, but scrambled eggs. The pancakes were obviously frozen and the potatoes tasted like baled potatoes. The best part of my experience was the great waitress. Wouldnt recommend.

Manager is very rude we waited 45 minutes to get food and ended up walking out. The manager is a white man with dark hair. There is a woman in the front that flipped me off as I left because she was mad that I complained. She has dark hair and green eyes with freckles they are extremely rude.

Incredible food, great prices, and friendly staff. Not to mention, I came in for a birthday meal, but we didn't realize it was near closing time. Still, they gave us amazing full service, and they really did make it seem like no big deal. Yet that is a huge deal, and I appreciate the staff for being so kind!!!

Great food! Great Service! Great Prices! The bathrooms were clean. The menu selections were way better than expected & the food was hot & fresh. I'm a big black coffee fan, and theirs wasn't the best. Not old, just way stronger than what I prefer. Easy enough though, next time I'll know to order tea. We'll definitely add Village Inn to our weekend breakfast rotation.

It had been serveral years since i have been back and decided to give them a shot. Had not come back in several years because of a previous experiamce in the same location. Bad choice. The service was very poor. Went to order a milk shake and a root beer float. Instead of warning us they were out of the basic ingredient (ice cream) before we ordered, they came back 10 minutes later and said "were out of ice cream". The table my family sat at was not even clean. It was sticky. The place wasn't even busy and yet the waitress didn't even come back to check and see if we needed refills. We have even been waiting more than 20 minutes to pay our bill and there's still no sign of the waitress. I'm never coming back to the Midtown location off of Northern Lights

Ordered through doordash, unfortunately it’s not the same service as in person dining. I got a spoonful of eggs with my 2-2-2 order and everything came soggy sloppy and freezing cold even though the dasher was waiting at the restaurant for 25 minutes.

This place has a great 70s vibe. The morning waitress is always happy. She's been working here a long time. The food is good and the service is excellent.

Staff are always polite and listen to your special request, their food portions are great and do not forget to eat pie first prior to your meal! Amazing….then you take your main meal for left overs !

I give 5 stars for improvement! The restaurant is now clean, as well as tables and floors. Food arrived hot and just as we ordered. Waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Restaurant was full but everyone was friendly and enjoying their food. Great job! We will be back 5th time visitor

Village Inn is a classic style American restaurant. They serve breakfast all day. It's nothing fancy, just your regular classic American comfort food. It's great that they have an espresso machine now so you can have more than just drip coffee. I don't really know what their dinners or lunches are like as I usually always go there for breakfast. And I've never been disappointed on any of the breakfast items I've ordered. It's very clean inside and we were greeted by multiple staff. If you want comfort food and a quick bite to eat Village Inn shouldn't disappoint.

We meet here regularly on a mid-week evening for an enjoyable conversation and dinner. All the staff do a good job but hands down we really enjoy having Leif as our server. He's dedicated and attentive to his customers. He clearly brings it out in his co-workers.

We had such a pleasant experience here! I ordered the club sandwich, and it was made to perfection! It's definitely a meal two people could split, too. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy and said it was the best biscuits and gravy he's ever had! Our kids had burgers, which they loved! 😋 We ordered the French Silk Pie to-go, and man oh man it was scrumptious!!!! 🥧 The waitresses Lark and Shayla (not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) were the kindest and friendliest people ever. They helped us with menu recommendations as well as recommendations for things to do in Alaska. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you so much for your kindness.

We shared a club sandwich, which was good. We also had pie for dessert. I had the strawberry-rhubarb pie, and it was terrific! They need more staff for quicker service.

What appears to be the typical greasy spoon becomes our new go to for hearty and yummy breakfast! The food is really good and the staff is warm and hospitable. Best biscuits and gravy I have had since I left the South. We will be repeat customers for sure.

Giving 3 stars because of cleanliness. The floors need a really good cleaning. Honestly, new carpet. My son fell immediately upon entering the bathroom because the floor was slick. The men's restroom was out of order. Service from our server was great. The food was hot and tasty. Comparable to Dennys or Ihop

Asked for a suggestion, and the server recommended the steak taco salad. Was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be ordering again. The shell was crisp. Salad was fresh. Avocado was abundant.

I was stated quickly and drink order taken. Waitress forgot straw. 15 minutes later i still did not have a straw and order has not been taken. They did not have many customers at this time. After 20 minutes waitress came back, still not straw. I made comment I needed to get back to work. Her hand went up in a stop motion and said "I am busy" maybe but from her conversations with staff and other i knew she has only been working 6 months and some of her outside activities. Must admit her comment made me angry and I got up and left. Did leave $5 for my drink i could nor enjoy. Loved this place but doubt if I got back anytime soon

Lots of 2-2-2s. I had strawberry crepes. They were delicious. Lark did a fantastic job serving our party of 6. Food was quick and good.

This restaurant reminds me of Denny's only the food has a better quality - a more homemade taste. And that's not to say anything bad about Denny's. I like Denny's, but the taste is better at Village Inn.

Cook added tomatoes when the food arrives, when I told the server not to have the cook add them. I have gout, which tomatoes aggravates a flare up. I remove them, when they get my order wrong. Food is good, if you need a place to dine for a cheap meal. Better than going to a fast-food dinner.

Super busy as always... We had to wait over 30 minutes to get seated. Over all the appearance looked clean! Which is always a big plus in rating an eatery in my book! We were surprised to notice that this historically famous "OPEN 24/7, 365 days-a-year" restaurant is now closing at 8pm every night! BUT, staffing problems are plaguing V.Inn just like most all other restaurants now-a-days! However, regardless of the short staff problems, Service was great! But, as far as food goes, one guy in our party was dissatisfied with his meal, since it was obvious to all at our table that his omelet was way over cooked! So he didn't eat all of it, or even take the leftovers to go! Very unusual for him! Everyone else's meal was either excellent or satisfactory. That's why I gave Village Inn only 3 stars for food. Consistency is important!

Overall it was an OK experience. However the wait time especially for coffee was a bit much. There was 8 of us drinking coffee and we suggested getting another pot for the table to make it easier on the server as well as get more than 3/4 cup everytime she brought it to the table however that never happened.

Very retro and clean restaurant. Good there is really really good. This will definitely be now or go to breakfast place! Can't wait to try the other dishes.

I’m not sure why everybody is giving this place a high rating. I could not even eat my food or drink the coffee. I took one bite of the bacon and it had a weird taste so did the eggs and the hashbrowns. And the coffee was not good. I paid $20 for a half a glass of orange juice and one piece of toast. I will never go back in there. I’ve never had a bad breakfast but this place ruined breakfast. How can anyone do that?

Fantastic food! The menu had several delicious things on it that made it hard to decide on what to get, and when the food got here the taste and portions were better than expected! Really good stuff and the best breakfast we have found yet. Quick, quality, and good service. 5/5
