Quick service, solid food for the price and the server was very nice and attentive. Not sure what was causing it but there was an off putting urine smell in the building. Otherwise, not a bad meal.

99 restaurant like any other. Consistent, good food, easy for the family. Tried the country fried chicken dinner... Best I've had anywhere in a long time.

Probably the smallest 99 I've ever seen, but size didn't matter with the lobstah roll. Mostly claw and & buttered hotdog roll with a sapphire & tonic made for an enjoyable lunch, and under $30 wasn't bad either

Dine in and take out for dinner. Usually get the chicken and steak tips meal very good. The spicy chicken sandwich is also very good. Mango ice tea was amazing last time I had it. And if u get an alcoholic drink the Mango Mai tai is very good

Good restaurant for families. I took advantage of the free kids meals when red Sox win. It would be nice if they included kids drinks though. Adult drinks are priced fairly maybe even cheap by today's standards.

What a joke. Friend visiting from New Jersey couldn’t even drink cause they couldn’t verify her ID. Didn’t have a scanner like every baseline liquor store has. Server didn’t even come back to get our entree order. By the time she did I just asked for the check to go somewhere else. Happened with almost no one in the restaurant. Can’t even imagine what would happen when it’s busy. Good food but disappointing service. Update: just went down the road to Longhorns, and guess what, they served her alcohol.

Exceptional service provided by multiple staff. Our go-to-spot that always cooks up delicious food. Their buffalo tenders are amazing! Lily, the store manager, stopped by to check in / say hi. Highly recommend this 99 location!

Traveled to Lowell St Andover MA. Great service from the manager Lily! Lily was an amazing manager, she did it all! She answered phones, waited tables, swept the floors, served, took ordered, seated and greeted! With all that she was doing she was the friendliest, sweetest lady I have ever come in contact with. She was very upbeat and happy. I wish there were more people in the world like her. If there was, the world would be filled with happiness, kindness and friendliness. The 99 restaurant is so lucky to have her. An employee like Lilly is hard to find, if you even can find a lovely lady like her as well as a hard worker truly out to make people happy. Keep smiling Lily! Thank you for the amazing service!

Stopped in with my daughter, SIL and 20 mo granddaughter. They had flown in from out of state and we met briefly for lunch before they continued on to Burlington VT. The food was great and the service could not have been better! We were going to take out until the baby woke from her nap, so we brought everything back in. Staff was so nice and welcoming, which made all the difference to these weary travelers. Many thanks!

This location is pretty unique. I'm guessing it's one of the smallest locations I've visited, besides maybe the the one in Billerica on RT 129. For me its pretty nostalgic, since it might be the first one I remember ever visiting. Anyways, its very intimate setting with the horseshoe bar taking up 2/3 of the place. A row of booths in front and a block of booths to the right of the bar. The décor is a bit dated with some local touches like most 99's usually have with references to the community. It's a bit dark since there are not very many windows. The lager booth section can accommodate two large parties by removing the center partitions between booths to forma long table. The menu is the 99 corporate standard, which I find to be a great mix of Pub Food and Apps along with some comfort food options like prime rib and pasta options. There are seasonal additions that bring some variety. Some of my favorites are the French onion soup, boneless wings ( a very lightly breaded style- the goldfever sauce is my go to), and the hot buttered lobster roll when it is in season and their burgers. Their salads are great option too. In my opinion the the menu provides a great value and variety.

Good service with a good selection of food. It's not a fancy place but certainly has a comfortable atmosphere. Goodstopfor a quick bite.

This restaurant has lots of memories! They service is also great and the food is consistently good. Any time I have had an issue a management happily corrects any problems!

Unfortunately I tried the seafood trio, it sounded good - three seafood, baked with butter and breadcrumbs. But it was seriously overcooked. The shrimps were very tough, the scallops were dry and overcooked, and the fish had bones and was tasteless and way overcooked. This was the saddest meal I have ever had at the 99.

I had a great meal at the 99. We had a great server. I forgot his name (i'm sorry) but he was attentive, keeping an eye on our table for cues to come over. The food was good and hot. I love the fact that I can order takeout and have someone bring it out to me in my car. The food is always fresh, and hot. The Restaurant always clean and tidy. We are always greeted by friendly staff when We/I arrive.

Unfortunately ninety nine restaurant is no longer my go to place. It really bothers me to write a negative review for the nines as I have been going there for over 40 years and had the pleasure of meeting Charlie on a few occasions many years ago. This place has lost its way and will continue to struggle until they go back to what made them a success years ago. I was shocked after reaching out to them that nobody even responded to me. There are many choices these days and I have found better places to spend my money.

You know eveything you get here will always be like the last time which is a good thing. No surprises and say the cooks had a bad day etc.. try the boneless chicken tenders...the tenders are tasty and TENDER!

Fish tacos left a lot to be desired! Tacos tasted terrible. Fish was breaded too much. Should be removed from menu or go to a restaurant in murrells inlet, sc and see how to make a real fish taco. Waiter was excellent.

This restaurant was one of the first we enjoyed after we moved to New England 25 years ago. It's a great place to enjoy some "comfort food" and they are good at accommodating food allergies. The waitstaff is friendly and courteous, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and there's plenty of parking.

My food order included grilled asparagus. They had no flaver, were squishy and looked like they were frozen. I can find better asparagus at Market Basket. My husbands' order of steak tips was supposed to be "smothered in sauteed mushrooms, peppers and onions." There were a few strings of measley peppers and onions and I didn't see any mushrooms. Maybe we are spoiled. My husband is a great cook and the seafood stuffing on my shrimp tasted like wet bread. Again, no flavor whatsoever. I had to repeat my request to my server twice and she never bussed the table. So all of our used drink cups stayed on the table the entire meal. I ordered a margarita with my meal and it came when I was done eating. It was tasty, but it was mostly juice (I like my margaritas with a kick). The outside dining is sad, with extension cords all over the place and dying flowers and a clogged drainage system that was leaking the whole time. The tables are picnic tables which is ok, but they never wiped them down even at the bare minimum in between customers and there was trash and food on the indoor/outdoor carpet from the previous diners. We both left full, but not satisfied.

Not a bad little restaurant. In a weird location, IMO. I visited here with my mother on, I believe, a Saturday afternoon and it was actually pretty nice. It wasn't as clear as I would have liked but for even being kinda busy, they did a good job. The waitress was better than I've had at other places and it didn't take too long for the food to come- which that (the food) was also pretty good. I don't really have a complaint so I think I would definitely recommend! Good Job 99!

Seated by the hostess. No shortage of waitresses. Waited 20+ minutes, not even a look. Asked hostess to check on waitress. Hostess did not offer to help. 10+ more minutes still not even a look. Manager counting cash drawers at dining room table near the front door. Hostess and manager had clear line of site to us entire time. Not a busy Thursday.

June 2022: Generally have good visits here. The outdoor seating was wonderful. Unfortunately this time the waitress spilled wine on one of our party, the steak for someone else was chewy and someone else's meal was cool. This was unusual because as I said, generally we have good visits here.

The quality of the food at the 99 is always good, especially given the very reasonable prices. Tender chicken, fish that melts in your mouth, steak cooked to perfection...the list goes on. This time I had the salmon and my son had the shrimp. Both were delicious! The sides are equally important and likewise just as high quality! Absolutely recommend for a reasonably priced evening out
