Check in is quick and easy. Check out is so quick, all you do is open yours blinds and leave the key in the room. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, the water is HOT, and the AC is COLD. I have been staying here on and off during the weeks for over a month now for work and have no complaints, the owners are very kind and accomadating.

If I could give less than a 1 star I would! Went to try and stay here late one night. The vacancy sign was on so we thought cool, walk up and ring the bell, they turn us away and say the sign is broke. So I go online and book the room from there, it stated vacancies as well. So I reserved a room and went back to ring the bell and they straight up ignored me...... This is not the first bad experience trying to rent a room there. It's always very poor customer service, very high prices, and very small, outdated rooms. Horrible all the way around. Don't stay here if you can help it.

Check in took too long and was awkward / unfriendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Shower was lukewarm at best and downright chilly at worst. Would be a much better spot to stay if they'd turn up the water heater and maybe treat you like they appreciate your business when you check in.

Stay away! Had a terrible experience last month. My family was going to stay here for a concert. My Father in law booked 7 months in advance for around $105 for the night. When we went to check in, he was told they canceled the room because they tried to run his card and it wouldn't work. First of all, there was no reason why the card wouldn't go through. Second, they claimed it was ran before we got there which they shouldn't be doing cause it was pay at check in. He asked if the room was available, and they said yes but it is now $375. They would not honor the original price. They tried taking advantage of people thinking they would be desperate enough to pay triple price since a sold out concert was playing nearby in Murphys. We left and found a much better place with a bar in walking distance, as this place has nothing near it.

We booked a room so we can go to see Patti LaBelle and Gladys in concert at the Ironstone Amphitheater in Murphy, CA. We didn't want to drive home to Stockton, CA at night on Highway 4. We were glad to find a room because with the concert the hotels and motels were booked fast. We planned to get there early but we got a late start. The concert didn't start until 7:30 pm. We thought we'd get to eat after the concert. Well the town closed down early. So we thought we'd have breakfast in the morning before we hit the freeway. Well the town wasn't open we left the room at 7:00 am. We drove home to Stockton, CA where we then had breakfast.

This was my second time staying here. The staff were very nice and accommodating at check in. The bedroom was clean, but it appeared that housekeeping did a rushed job in cleaning the bathroom. I walked in to an unflushed toilet. Also, if I stay here again in warm weather I will try to remember to bring earplugs. The AC worked very well but made a horrible noise each time it switched on. Maybe it was just the particular unit in my room, but it made sleeping very difficult. Otherwise it was decent for one night. I wouldn’t recommend for a long stay though.

I was a last-second drop-in because of the heat I didn't want to camp at Lake New melones. And when I pulled in they were outside and I asked him if they had a room and space for me to park my long truck & kayak on a trailer I was telling behind me you said yeah no problem they let me check up for party places parking sideways. And then I got to pull down to the end right in front of my room which you put me on the bottom so I could keep an eye on the kayak. This kayak is loaded with gear and different kinds of electronics are worth a lot of money. I got to pull it right in front where I could see it out the window and I got a good night's sleep because of it. I will be back here. The room is nice and clean. I will return.

Make sure to take pictures of everything when you leave like I did. I took pictures of every single thing in my room which was beneficial afterwards. The woman who manages the hotel likes to lie and she's rude! I had to record our conversations and take pictures of every inch of the room to justify the inappropriate behavior I had to deal with. She has no respect and lacks the ability to be professional. There are also no hotel policies and when I asked for a copy of them she said she decides them appearently as she goes each day and you have to comply. I would just highly recommend taking pictures and if you are harassed by her like I was I made sure to document and record conversations in public areas of the hotel as I did. Other than that the other workers at the hotel were very polite and respectful. The room was clean when I arrived she was the only issue with the hotel.
