My husband and I have love to come in on Fridays and share a pizza before we head over to see a movie at Brokaw. We like the Traditional, the Rookie, and the BBQ Chicken pizzas!

We stopped in on a Friday evening to try the oven fired pizza. This was our first visit and when we walked in we weren’t sure what to do. Nobody said a word to us. We figured out that you’re supposed to go to the counter and order. I recommend greeting people as they come in the door with something like, “Welcome! You can place your order at the counter when you’re ready.” A couple came in after us and sat down. They too were confused about what to do. Nobody said a word to them either. They too eventually figured out it’s an “order at the counter” establishment. They offer one size pizza, 13 inch. We didn’t think we could eat a pizza that size but ordered the Four Horsemen. The pizza was fantastic! We ate the whole thing. The crust is thin and the pizza was perfectly cooked. We appreciated the low volume of the music in the restaurant. It’s the perfect volume for background music. You can hear it but you can also talk over it in a conversational tone. I gave 3 stars because there’s room for improvement on the customer service side. We found the stories about the grumpy woman at the counter to be true. Now that we know you’re supposed to order at the counter we may have a better experience next time. We will definitely go back for pizza, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a pizza that good.

We ordered our food at 10:45 am for pick up at 11:30 and I was still waiting for my food at 11:45. The lady in the back has gotten snotty with me twice now and I will never go back. My pizza was under cooked as well and sitting there waiting for the grilled sandwiches. I understand places are under staffed but that is no reason to be snotty to the customer! We are on a time limit for our lunches!

We were visiting from out of town and wanted a carrot cake for a birthday celebration and the local groceries did not carry one. A neighbor suggested we call Sutton’s and they went above and beyond and accommodated us. It was so delicious, fresh, and I believe made from scratch. What’s great addition to our celebration. Thank you!

I visited recently and I haven't been since 2015 I'm more than excited to announce the food (I had a Reuben extra sauce add banana peppers) was just as delicious now as was then and made me think of a simpler time thanks to John's and Nick's (his son) impeccable way of running the store front I will be coming back more often.

I truly enjoyed the Asian Chicken Salad and the Turkey sandwich. The atmosphere was wonderful too. Too bad the pizza selections were not available this time. It was because it was all hands on deck to prepare a huge order to cater a 300-guest wedding party later in the day!! I was wowed when I heard that. I hope to try their pizza next time.

Love their Reubens and broccoli and cauliflower salad with bacon. Can't go wrong. Getting to go to Sutton's is a real treat for me and my husband when we don't have the kids.

If I lived closer I would come everyday! Their roast beef sandwich and mushroom soup was a perfect pairing. The lady taking our order was just lovely. Thank you all for serving such wonderful home cooked food.

I normally don't write reviews but my first experience here was just terrible. I went up to the front to go order my food and I flipped to the back of the menu and the lady at the front yelled at me and said I couldn't order off that side, since it was a Monday, I didn't even order anything I was just looking. I asked if that applied to the pizza as well and she yelled at me that I need to look at the top of the menu. The entire time I was ordering she was just rude, and her greeting was dry and unbothered. The man who brought out my food was very nice but the food itself took awhile to arrive and wasn't that great. All in all I'd say if you don't mind being treated like a nuisance, and don't mind mediocre food, then give it a try. I definitely will not be back.

This place has great food. They will make custom sandwiches too. When you enter, just head for the counter to order. Some tables are larger (seats 8) so you can sit at the table with others to share some stories. I've been told that they make the best soups. (Potato is best!)

Really good hot sandwich made to order, served with chips and a pickle. Great atmosphere and a very friendly staff.

It was great the coffee was delicious and I do not like coffee that much but they do not serve pancakes 🥞 that was the only downside overall great experience and place is cute. Highly recommended.

Best place in Angola for a good tasting lunch. Sandwiches are fresh made and taste wonderful. Good price for the size you receive

I called to place an order for catering. They told me they would call me back and never did. The woman who answered the phone was very rude. She told me there was not menu online because “they do a million different things why would they put that online” then told me if I wanted to know the food choices I would have to come up there. She told me to NOT come before 3 though. Come to find out that is when they close. I told her I could come in tomorrow and she said “don’t come in tomorrow we have way to much stuff going on”. She was just all around rude. I was really counting on whoever was going to call me back to be nicer and then she never even took the time to call me. I won’t be having them cater my event.

Our first time here. Delicious, freshly made, hot-toasted sandwiches. This is real meat. Not processed. Would definitely come here again. I don’t give out 5 stars lightly!

We were lucky enough to have Sutton's Deli cater our wedding reception in Angola the last weekend in July! Being from out of town, we had no idea what to expect. Nick was great to work with. I was completely stressed out over planning the event and Nick made the process feel very easy. The menu sounded amazing and we were really excited! On the day of the reception we were not disappointed. The servers were extremely friendly and also very professional. The presentation was beautiful yet simple. And the food was amazing!!! For a week, all I have heard from our guests, is how great the food was! The Steak Rumaki and jerk chicken appetizers were incredible. For Dinner, the dry rubbed pork with mango salsa was the standout for the night. Everyone even mentioned how good the potatoes were, of all things :)! ...Now we cant wait to try the woodfire pizza next time we are in town!!! So many thanks.

I’m really shocked at the good reviews for this place. We decided to stop on our way through town because it had such good reviews. I ordered their ham sandwich which consisted of ham, cheese, spicy mustard and bread. Nothing else. It tasted like a box of salt had been poured on it. I could not eat the whole thing. My son ordered a made to order roast beef. He couldn’t figure out why it tasted so weird until the end when he realized it was corned beef and not roast beef. Husband was disappointed in the portion size of his sandwich. Not only was the food a disappointment but the place was dirty. A lady next to us pulled out wipes and wiped down her table before they sat down. This should not be necessary in a restaurant. Needless to say I’d say if you’re driving through town keep going and find another place. You’ll be glad you did.

Sutton's is just plain awesome! Go there. They even have beer.

This was an amazing lunch experience. The sandwiches are amazing and can be custom made if you don't see exactly what you want on the menu. Also have a bakery with great tasting cookies. Also realized they have a wide range of homemade pasta salads.

Delicious little Deli in downtown Angola that I think all should try out. Good food, affordable, and a better dining experience than your typical subway/jimmy johns. Stop on by friends!

Decent flavor with portions large enough to leave a small child unsatisfied. I had to order a second sandwich and I'm still hungry. Photo is from the roast beef sandwich -- and I don't have particularly large hands! They charge ~$7 for that thing. Good ambiance though.

I know the lunches are always great, but I just noticed they have a wood-burning oven for pizza. When I asked, they said it was for Friday and Saturday evenings so now I’m very interested to try a pizza too. PS-Their ongoing renovations are making progress and look good.

The food was alright. The rye bread is really nice and the roast beef sandwich is ok...could use some swiss and maybe a more flavorful sauce. The lemon bar was really good Really delicious coffee, it was a shame it wasn't hot enough though. The decor beyond the brick walls barely exists. I did get my food really fast and the person who took my order seemed nice....BUT...unfortunately there must have been a cat somewhere in the restaurant because it did have the smell of cat urine...which sort of ruined the experience, but I'm used to cats...others may not be. Ether way if they can kind of make the place cleaner and get some air freshener in there, it would be a better dining experience.
