Poorly trained staff misinforming and selling “gluten free” croissants I was misinformed about “gluten free” croissants which were never actually gluten free at Kokomo Port Moody! They are dairy free only! I got glutened, very sick and disappointed by the management being proud of their food safety protocols! No trust if you fail to communicate product safety to your staff and customers! Celiacs be aware!

This new location is bright and welcoming, the staff are super friendly and the coffee is the best in the area. I’d recommend the carrot and cardamom muffin, I couldn’t believe how delicious it was! My new regular morning stop!

I’ve been waiting for a place like this to open up in Port Moody! (extra bonus for me because I live right In the neighbourhood). Everything here is so tasty. I usually get the enchilada salad, dressing on the side ( I find it’s too much dressing and the lettuce gets too soggy). Today had the almond noodle bowl which was delicious ( but felt like this had not enough dressing). Maybe it’s just my preference. The smoothies are are so delicious. Absolutely love this place and hope it stays!

So happy Kokomo opened up in Port Moody! It’s in such a convenient location and the food is just as good as the other locations. Love a consistent kitchen! Beet poké has been my fave bowl for awhile. I picked up a few grocery items too and I can’t wait to try them! The staff are SO friendly and helpful. Amazing menu for celiacs too!

So excited this place opened in suterbrook! Healthy, vegan, tasty meals. Their matcha was a bit different than what I expected but excited to other beverages on the menu! New lunch takeout spot!

Kokomo Port Moody - like every other Kokomo location - is about so much more than its simply outstanding vegan menu. It’s about community, connection, intention and good holistic health THAT TASTES TERRIFIC! Lucky lucky Port Moody to be the most recent addition to this great endeavour. My favourite is the beet poke bowl but truly love everything Kokomo has to offer.

I've only been to their Chinatown location prior, but being in the area, the Plant Curious book brought us out here for some savings! Really nice and clean aesthetic in the eatery, with take home and ready to eat products available throughout. The $13 Shawarma Wrap had a good flavour despite the 'protein' being soy curls. The Beet Poke Macro was also a tasty option (couldn't choose between this or their Almond Noodle Salad which I've heard good things about)! The marinated beets and edamame hummus stood out, and the tangy umami of the ginger miso sauce. However, I do feel like the bowl could've had more rice and beets, or any ingredients to make it more filling for the $16 price tag. For the depth of the bowl, it was around halfway filled. I ended up adding more brown rice from home. I also wasn't a fan of all the pickled ginger, so will have to ask for those to be left out next time around! Kokomo is a great option in this neighbourhood and I'd definitely return for the food. The price point is fair for the plant-based options.

Delicious shawarma macro bowl! The flavors are amazing and mix together perfectly. I stopped in to try this place out on a whim while waiting for a car repair to be done. So glad I did!

Have loved Kokomo since visiting their Chinatown location years ago! Happy to see them in Port Moody. Vegan food that is healthy and tasty! The bowls are packed! I enjoy everything I’ve tried, but particularly love the laksa bowl if I want something a little warm or the shawarma bowl. Even my friends who don’t typically like this type of food have enjoyed it! PS: I like parking at Rocky Point, walking over to grab take out and walking back to the park to enjoy the food. Makes for a great time.

Paid $18 for barely any tofu. For something at this price, you’d think there is more protein. Lots of rice noodles, very little vegetables, and 4-5 small pieces of tofu. Very disappointing. I basically paid for a bowl of rice noodles.

Cute area. Everything we ordered was not tasty. Banana bread latte tasted nothing of banana. The nanaimo bar, carrot loaf, and pumpkin loaf all tasted bland. I appreciate the idea of reducing sugar, but there was no flavour at all. And why does everything have a grainy texture?

Had high hopes for this new eatery in Suterbrook Village. Any new food choices are a benefit to the area. That said, I tried the Almond Noodle Salad and it was pretty disappointing. The sauce is pretty good, but otherwise it was a relatively small portioned bowl with sauce, noodles and not much else (in that order). Had a few (<5 small cubes of tofu) and not much else in the protein department. Oh, and did I mention the bowl was seemingly half full?! For $16 +tax, I expected a bit more. A bit disappointed as I had high hopes for this new spot for the area.

Great study spot. Delicious vegan food, but not as filling as I would've liked. Healthy tho

This place is really good. I love the almond noodle salad bowl, it’s delicious. I’ve also had their banana bread latte a few times and it’s yummy too. I tried the vegan soft serve today that was oat based and I really liked it. The restaurant is cute with seating inside and outside. The staff is always friendly too!

My favourite items at Kokomo are the almond noodle salad, chickpea curry, bean burrito and vanilla soft serve. The golden laksa noodles, hemp caesar salad and coastal macro bowl are also fantastic choices. Some things to be aware of are that the acai is sweetened (I only like unsweetened but it's a matter of personal preference), and on rare occasions, the coconut turmeric broth for the golden laksa noodles is overly spicy (don't be put off from trying it again if this happens). It's close to the Inlet Centre SkyTrain station and Kokomo has a nice seating area, both inside and out. They also offer delivery of many items through DoorDash and Uber Eats, which is convenient. The employees have always been exceptional, even writing nice messages on the take-out bags. Occasionally they also run promotions, like with Taste of Tri-Cities (BOGO 50%), Uber Eats coupons (BOGO free), the Plant Curious deals book ($10 off $40+) and a morning happy hour (various deals from 9am to 11am).

I wanted something in the healthy side while visiting family in the neighbourhood. Luckily I found Kokomo. Had the Coastal Macro bowl, hit the spot, ingredients were fresh and service was friendly. Food was a good portion and well priced. I also had a chai latte, wouldn’t have again, it was almost too sweet and tasted like made from pre made stir up. Still giving 5 stars as staff were attentive and friendly and food was yummy! Please open one in Victoria ;)

The staff was super friendly! We all loved the food! Will definitely be back! Also, it was awesome to have a vegan lunch for 2 for under $30!
