Money trap for international student. School will charge you extra money for everything. They will refuse to refund the money you paid in advance! They will charge you for tax forms which is illegal! Their maintenance is a complete joke. The PRM is telling students to test flight not airwothy planes. I have spoken with well over 20 students in the last 5 years with this school. Not to mention their CFI who is stripped of her examiner license. School is a complete joke

I'm a CPL holder from up in the Northwest territories, I was recommended CFC by a close friend and I contacted them letting them know I was driving down and had a short window (1 week) to do a multi engine rating. When I arrived we hit the ground running, Pedro my instructor was amazing! He had all my lessons planned and condensed down, he stayed late on a couple occasions to get my flights and ground work done so I was able to smash out this rating in a week even with a day of weather delays. Highly Recommended will be back next year for Multi IFR rating. Cya guys next year! - N.H

I've had a blast doing my multi engine rating in CFC and I've got my letter of recommend at only 8.7 hours. I am saying "only", because I was doing this rating after my 9-5 work flying twice a week, so initially I thought that multi will take me around 12 hours to get to flight test standards. But their super effective program and talented instructors helped to get this rating in very efficient manner. Looking forward to IFR rating with CFC. Edit: Just finished my Instrument Group 1 with CFC. It was a blast. While I was able to fly only once a week, CFC was able to bring me to (and above) TC standard only within 7 flights. I am extremely happy and 100% recommend.

Great School I highly recommend it. I flew with Kaizer Kosambia as an instructor. He has been most excellent & I can say that he has really help me in my progression for my PPL.

After ~10yr break I decided to continue on with PPL training and certification. Instructor (James Trounce) accepted me as a student and extremely knowledgeable and patient as I refreshed and improved my fundamentals and progressed to receive my permit. The staff is friendly, atmosphere is welcoming, and an excellent selection of planes to work with. (Such a great improvement from my previous learning center.) I highly recommend training at this fantastic school for anyone just starting out or wants to just dial in on previous skills. I’ve finally found the place to finish this license and potentially continue my aviation education.

I've heard that one of the best things that can happen to you in your journey of become a pilot is landing on a great instructor. I've been one of the lucky ones and can attest to that 100%. A great instructor can make you fall in love with learning to fly or dread every flight. With patience, knowledge and diverse learning techniques, James Trounce has made my experience memorable, comfortable and wonderful. I just hope he starts teaching IFR soon as I'll be seeking him out in not too long.

We went in for a flight lesson on a Cessna with our instructor Kaiser and had a great time! While we were a bit nervous at the beginning, Kaiser made us feel assured with his expertise and knowledge. We did all the necessary checks before starting and made sure the plane was in good condition. We flew over Victoria and all the islands and the views were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend CFC to anyone who is looking for a pleasant and safe flight experience!

Thanks to charter pilot Santiago Arias Camacho for a wonderful flight yesterday to Kelowna in one of CFC's delightful Cessna 172s! What I have learned from many years of traveling for both business and pleasure is that ways and means of getting to the destination make a difference. My business in Kelowna yesterday was a success, in part because I made a good choice to fly with Canadian Flight Centre and for the good fortune of having Santiago as my pilot. The best way to accomplish your mission is not always the fastest nor the cheapest, and leaving some things to chance can work to your advantage. In planning my trip I considered my options and recognized that a single engine VFR flight would be ideal. I needed to slow down, take my time, and absorb the world-class majestic scenery along the route from YPK to YLW and back in order to clear my mind. Gambling on a cloud ceiling shared the making of my important decision on a big asset purchase with random chance. Would the weather make the VFR flight possible or not? My deal was in the hands of fate and the excellent decision-making skill of my pilot, Santiago Arias Camacho. A first-rate pilot, Santiago would take no risk. As I waited in the comfortable lounge at CFC's YPK base, Santiago watched the changing weather picture along the route. Would the clouds lift? If so, that would be the signal that fate wanted me to go. If not, I would rest assured that the deal wasn't meant to be. After a short time Santiago explained the situation and our options; it looked like we might be able to get through. To that I said, let's go! Not only did Santiago find the keyhole in the clouds but his friendly, personable nature made him great company for the thoroughly enjoyable trip. Underway he explained the instruments and controls and seemed to sincerely enjoy answering my many questions about flying. The weather continued to improve and I was gifted with stunning views of the mountains through the 172's ample windows all around. I arrived in Kelowna 'on my game' and won the deal I had hoped to do there. The flight back served to lift my high spirts even higher. Often it's important to ensure that your flight is going to get you to a place on time in virtually any weather conditions and there are private jets for those missions. Knowing when to slow down, take your time, clear your mind, and let the weather roll the dice on a deal is a skill. The next time such an opportunity arises, well, I have CFC's number and I look forward to flying with Santiago again. Thank you, Santiago and Canadian Flight Centre, for a perfect flight!

Great flight school. Professional instructors as well as dispatch teams. Good taking care of all students. Almost all of their fleets are equipped with GPS which enables students to fly long cross country more comfortably. Lots of available bookings and flexibilities. Reserving a flight one day in advance is possible.

Finally flew around the Mountains! The most scenic flight I've done so far. We were originally booked for Saturday. The weather wasn't looking good for that weekend. Since we were leaving Van couver shortly after we thought it wasn't going to workout. It was Wednesday Afternoon when we called the school, Thanks to Christina the Dispatcher who helped us reschedule the flight for Thursday. She helped us with planning and guided us through everything from paperwork, which aircraft to choose, popular destinations etc. Next day we arrive at the school and I was impressed by the facilities. I've seen a few over the years but wow this place was well equipped. The aircrafts conditions were much better than most I've seen. We met Adam the Flight Instructor. who planned a great route to satisfy our many requests in the shortest time possible. I learned alot about mountain flying and the views were so much better than the Microsoft flight simulator :) Can't wait to come back for more!

I had Adam Byron as an instructor, his clear and easy to follow teaching method greatly helped reduce the stress of the flight exam. He is always open to help even during his off hours. Adam was a huge aid in getting through with my license without any major hiccups
