I
absolutely
do
not
recommend
this
salon,
here’s
why:
While
some
of
the
stylists
here
are
great,
unfortunately
some,
including
the
owner,
aren’t
so
lovely.
Last
year
I
had
a
wedding
to
go
to,
and
being
terrible
at
planning
I
waited
until
the
last
minute
to
book
a
hair
appointment.
I
needed
some
highlights,
a
trim,
and
to
have
a
set
of
extensions
blended
in.
Because
it
was
so
last
minute,
the
stylist
I
wanted
to
see
was
booked,
but
since
it
is
one
of
the
nicer
salons
in
the
area
I
figured
any
stylist
would
be
able
to
do
what
I
needed,
right?
Wrong.
(Also,
they
ask
for
a
deposit
before
your
appointment,
big
red
flag)
The
appointment
started
with
the
stylist
telling
me
about
her
lunch
hadn’t
gotten
there
yet
and
that
she
was
starving.
Great.
She
proceeds
to
put
foils
into
my
hair
straight
away,
at
a
snails
pace,
without
asking
anything
about
my
hair
or
its
colour
history.
At
no
point
did
she
ask
about
the
extensions,
and
when
I
asked
if
she
wanted
to
see
them
to
get
an
idea
of
the
colour
we’re
going
for
she
said
“that’s
ok”.
About
an
hour
goes
by
and
she’s
still
putting
foils
in
my
hair,
at
this
point
I’m
concerned
as
my
hair
can’t
really
take
bleach
longer
than
30
min,
but
I
have
trust
in
this
salon
at
this
point.
This
woman
left
the
foils
in
my
hair
for
2
hours
as
she
checked
her
food
order
and
ate
it.
By
the
time
she
started
taking
the
foils
OUT
the
hair
was
coming
out
in
chunks.
At
this
point
I’m
visibly
upset
and
uncomfortable,
my
mind
is
spiralling
as
this
lady
pulls
my
bleached
wormy
hairs
off
of
my
head.
She
brings
me
to
the
sink
and
starts
off
by
putting
purple
shampoo
in
my
hair.
Anyone
who
knows
anything
about
colour
will
know
that
my
over
processed
hairs
are
going
to
sop
up
the
purple
colour,
and
I
was
going
for
a
GOLDEN
blonde.
Now
my
hair
is
half
gone
and
half
purple.
By
the
time
my
hair
was
dry
it
had
been
about
4
hours
and
there
was
no
time
for
a
cut
or
extensions.
So
she
takes
me
over
to
the
front
desk…..
to
pay.
That’s
right,
they
already
have
my
$150
deposit,
and
they
want
me
to
pay
for
the
rest
of
the
service
after
destroying
my
hair.
I
said
no,
I
will
come
back
and
speak
to
the
owner
when
she’s
here
and
try
to
work
something
out.
They
told
me
the
owner
would
be
away
for
a
week
or
so.
I
said
ok
and
left
in
actual
tears.
The
next
day
I
get
a
call
from
the
owner
saying
she
heard
about
what
had
happened.
When
I
asked
if
she
could
do
anything
to
help
me,
she
tells
me
“actually
I’m
going
to
ask
you
to
not
come
back
to
this
salon,
as
you
made
my
stylist
uncomfortable”
(I
was
actually
so
nice
about
it
despite
being
upset,
accidents
happen,
people
have
bad
days).
I
was
floored,
but
also
in
the
neighbourhood
so
I
decided
to
pop
in
and
show
her
the
damage
in
person.
She
very
rudely
tried
to
tell
me
that
the
2
inch
chunks
of
hair
coming
out
of
my
scalp
with
fried
blonde
tips
were
“baby
hairs”,
that
she
couldn’t
see
the
blobs
of
bleached
spots
on
my
hairline,
and
said
this
wasn’t
their
fault
and
to
go
somewhere
else.
I
left.
Later
that
day
she
calls
me
and
tells
me
that
another
stylist
is
willing
to
fix
it
but
I’ll
have
to
pay
the
remaining
balance
owed.
At
this
point
I
don’t
have
time
to
go
somewhere
else
so
I
go.
She
tries
to
fix
the
blotchiness
but
it
doesn’t
work.
I
ended
up
paying
about
$350
(never
got
that
haircut
or
extensions
blended)
in
total
including
tip,
and
ended
up
losing
about
30%
of
my
hair
which
is
already
quite
thin,
it’s
also
the
wrong
colour
but
that’s
the
least
of
my
concern.
I
also
had
to
spend
$50
to
fix
the
blotches
MYSELF.
and
another
$500
to
have
someone
correct
the
colour
a
few
months
later.
In
all,
yes,
stylist
make
mistakes,
but
the
way
the
salon
handles
the
situation
is
what
matters
in
the
end.
This
salon
treated
me
poorly
as
a
customer
and
the
owner
herself
handled
the
situation
horribly.
It’s
hard
to
say
about
a
local
small
woman
owned
business,
but
I
sadly
don’t
recommend
