Both myself and my fiancée went for a spa package sold on valentines Day, including aroma therapy, massage, facial, and scrub. We were looking forward to the relaxing spa experience, but there were several factors that did not make it come true. The room was near reception and it was noisy. The massage was more like rubbing oil on the back with the forearms - not focusing on the areas we requested (both of us felt the same way), and there was also some streching. No focus on pressure points, no knots being worked... When I thought the area of focus was going to be worked on, the masseuse actually moved on to the facial... The process just felt rushed and somehow not relaxing, unfortunately. This must be part of the training, as we both had the same complaints afterward. I will not be returning to Sabai spas any time soon. It is way too expensive to keep trying and giving them a chance... This is the second time they fell short. Plus, I can almost guarantee that all they will do is copy and paste their standard reply to bad reviews and take no action on it.

This was not the experience I was expecting, and maybe it is because I am used to a RMT who clearly has an understanding of massage/deep tissue massage. I was charged extra for checking deep tissue on the box, but it wasn’t at all a deep tissue massage nor was I aware I’d be charged for it upfront. It was all over the place and I really couldn’t relax, at some points I felt even uncomfortable. I asked for back and shoulders only and she spend barely any time on the back and proceeded to do my entire body. The massage therapist was kind and it is not a reflection on her, it was just not a professional massage (I have heard the same thing from another friend who went there). The facial was nice. Overall not worth the money.

I keep coming back to Sabai Thai Spa in Langley many time during December to buy their products for Christmas give. I’m so glad that they do 30% off and buy 2 get 1 free. My families love all the items I gave them on Christmas day. So today I came back again to buy more of the Mali Jasmine body cream and oil, before the deal is gone!! Love your products, good in value and affordable!!

Would highly recommend! Had a great service with a facial and massage that had just the right amount of pressure. Was beyond relaxing, and am looking forward to future visits.

Amazing treatment with Asma…. She was kind, knowledgeable and genuine in her practice. I found the spa to be less “relaxing” than others in terms of offering tea, a relaxation space, warm blankets, aromatherapy, robe, etc. The spa was clean and the staff friendly. My treatment experience was a gift. I would recommend to those looking for treatments without the opulence of other spas. Overall a relaxing experience. I will be back to see Asma again.

I went for a true wellness spa package and I think it was the most complete massage I’ve ever had! I felt so relaxed after. Highly recommend it! The only thing they could improve is their sound system and choice of spa music.

I had a 90min gentleman’s massage package my partner bought as a gift for me and went for my appointment yesterday. I am highly disappointed and will not return. During the waiver period, they get you to pick areas to focus on, I circled the areas I wanted. I carry a lot of stress and tension in my neck, face, and forehead, and my hands because I work with them all the time. There was little to no focus on any of those areas. I am also 6’1, so decently tall but I was constantly adjusting myself during the massage to stay on the table and when they told me to flip over onto my back, they removed the head rest which caused a lot of strain on my neck and shoulders and made it very uncomfortable. While working on my neck, the woman doing my massage kept accidentally jabbing me in the side of the neck with her nails. They used way too much fragrance in the room as well and I went in able to breathe fine and left the appointment so congested. It is now the following morning and I woke up and can hardly move my neck. It is completely seized up. I’ve been sore before after a massage but not like this. The only positive thing I can say is that the lady doing my massage was very polite, but I will never come back or trust a spa that isn’t a registered RMT.

Absolutely, I've experienced the most incredibles massages there. Kaori is amazing. I highly recommend any service at Sabai Thai Spa. As a mother of three kids, taking this time for myself to relax and relieve stress has been completely worthwhile. I've been a loyal customer for nearly 2 years.

***Update to my review*** Unfortunately, I have had to lower my review due to lack of response from ownership. I had sent an email asking if there would be any adjustment to the bill based on the poor experience I had. Funny how they always got right back to me, but ignored that message. It seems money comes first and customer service second. Very disappointed with my experience. As mentioned, the facility is great and so was the massage. But the experience afterwards, and lack of follow up has been very, very poor. SOME GOOD/SOME BAD The Good: Massage was wonderful. The table was heated and the facility was spotless. The Bad: Unfortunately, the check out was a disaster. I had prepaid and just needed to leave a gratuity. The person at the desk was very confused, said there was a “glitch” and was going to charge me for the massage and gratuity. I explained myself repeatedly. She said she understood but asked me to stay while she called somebody to ask them what was going on with their system. Three times I explained that I had an international flight and I needed to leave. I confirmed that they had my email and cell phone number. I requested to charge me for the gratuity because the therapist was great. I even went as far as pulling up my bank account to show them that I had paid. She said she understood that but asked me to stay while she tried to figure things out. Her coworker had no idea how to help. I booked a 90 minute massage to send me home on a long flight in a good mood. This was an unfortunate way to end the trip. Wish I never booked it.

I had a very good experience today. The environment in the store is comfortable. Wanna say thank you to my RMT for helping me relieve my muscle soreness. She is very professional.

I highly recommend. They were able to accommodate us in a couple room so my husband and I were able to be in the same room as we got our 75-minute True Wellness massages via vouchers we got. Booking was easy. Atmosphere is very serene. Staff are friendly. We got Pat and Alec and it was probably the best massage we've gotten as they addressed the body aches and we still felt very relaxed after.

Asma (Port Coquitlam location) was absolutely amazing… She knew what she was doing and she understood my body pain so well and worked with it. I have not felt this relaxed in a long time. I recommend her to everyone.

I booked my husband and myself in. I own a medical aesthetics clinic nearby but we don’t do the massages and same type of facials as Sabai so I wanted to treat us to something different! I booked the pure serenity package which included a massage, facial, eye brightening treatment. My husband got the gentlemen’s getaway and it was awesome Mine however did not include the facial or eye brightening. She only did a 90 minute massage and I asked why I didn’t get the facial and she said that package did not include the facial and that her manager told her not to do it? I came out and my husband already paid. I’m just super confused. Massage was great though but still left not 100% satisfied

I've been coming to the Port Coquitlam location since it opened. Can't begin to describe how much my massage sessions and staff's therapy expertise have helped me get through some stressful times and health setbacks over the years. Not to mention the peaceful ambiance!

And again i was absolutely satisfied with the services i recieved.The staff was inviting and very professional , I was treated with the utmost respect and was talked thru each step of my massage .I felt comfortable and relaxed. Always a wonderful experience. I've had a massage with both Monica and Fehme, who didn't disappoint. The room is always so pleasant, the smell, the lighting (which they even put a towel on your eyes when you're facing up, great touch) this place a great escape from the world.
