We just spent our daughter’s birthday there. You really can’t beat the view from the cabins. The cabins are nice and toasty, well-stocked and have comfy beds. We had a fireplace and our firewood would magically reappear daily. So much fun for the kids to play in the picnic areas and take the canoes out onto the lake. Glen was super friendly and helpful! Our 6-year-old was devastated to be leaving, so we hope to be back again soon!

This is our second time staying at the Cusheon Lake Resort — the first time was June 2018 then September 2023. The area is super dog/kid-friendly. We love that you can use their paddle boards, kayaks, and pedal boat, and the lake is quite quiet compared to Ganges. The manager, Glen, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating with late check out (which we were super grateful for to help with our son’s nap schedule). We look forward to going back again soon!

Had a great time here for NYE 23, The host was very kind and allowed us a rebooking last minute since the ferries were shut due to snow. All communication was very clear, the cabin was very rustic and cozy, had a great fireplace and open access to the lake! Our dog had a great time here as well since it was "off-season" when we went. Quiet, picturesque, and reasonably priced

This place is a little bit of Heaven. We were in Cabin 14 facing the lake. Veiw spectacular. It's a bit of a walk from parking to the cabin. You have to go down a steepish hill or stairs. It's worth it, though. You walk upstairs to get into Cabin. You walk in, and it's beautiful and very clean. Well-appointed kitchen NO dishwasher. Livingroom is comfortable with fireplace. 2 bedrooms with very comfortable King beds and storage shelves. Canoes, kyacks, paddle boards, life jackets. Small hot tub outside the office area. The road in is a bit rough with potholes . You are about 15 minutes away from Ganges. Extremely quiet at night. Glen and Andie, our hosts, are lovely We feel privileged to be able to stay here. Looking forward to coming back.

This was our third time at Cusheon Lake Resort both in the winter and in the spring. We love the rustic style cabins with all you really need equipped kitchens, comfortable king size bed and a beautiful lake all around the resort. The resort managers do a really great job to keep this little paradise well taking care of.

This is an amazing little getaway! My family and I stayed during the heavy snowfall in December and not only was it picturesque, but the service and cabins were amazing! They clear paths and walk ways immediately in the mornings and brought all the firewood you need. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting the laid back island experience. Thank you so much staff of Cusheon !

Wonderful and tranquil place for a family stay. We loved the fireplace and that the wood was provided daily and enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by snow. Waking up with the gorgeous view of the lake covered in ice was the perfect start of the day! Glen was very helpful and super nice, we got a better cabin than we booked just because he is generous. I’d recommend this place to spend long winter and dark afternoons in cozy place after hiking in beautiful Salt Spring Island :)
