The
recent
opening
of
Hi
Five
Chicken
in
Burquitlam
couldn't
have
come
at
a
more
opportune
moment.
With
the
community
rapidly
expanding
and
the
recent
exit
of
a
major
fried
chicken
chain,
it
feels
as
if
the
timing
was
written
in
the
stars.
We
decided
to
indulge
in
a
takeout
order
for
our
initial
encounter.
The
team's
service
was
exceptional,
providing
helpful
advice
for
first-time
customers
and
a
complimentary
appetizer
during
our
short
wait.
They
outshone
themselves
when
a
component
of
our
family
meal
was
unavailable
and
thoughtfully
substituted
it
with
other
items
at
no
extra
cost.
As
for
the
chicken,
it
won
my
palate
over
with
its
non-greasy
texture,
a
notable
divergence
from
many
fried
chicken
places.
The
availability
of
a
grilled
option
with
a
delightful
smoky
note
was
a
pleasant
surprise.
Not
to
forget,
their
signature
sauces,
both
regular
and
spicy
variants,
were
a
flavorful
delight.
Their
enthusiastic
promotion
of
the
new
location
was
evident,
and
I
hope
that
this
level
of
customer
service
continues
into
the
future.
