I had the privilege of seeing physiotherapist Nick Tataryn starting in January 2022 after my nth shoulder injury. Unlike previous experiences with other therapists, Nick's approach was refreshingly personalized. He tailored his treatment to my unique recovery needs, providing me with carefully selected exercises and tools at every stage of my journey towards full recovery. His dedication and guidance were instrumental in helping me regain strength and function. Beyond his expertise, Nick's vibrant personality made every session a delight. His cheerful personality and sense of humour created a positive and motivating atmosphere, turning each appointment into an enjoyable experience. It's rare to find a professional who not only excels in their field but also brings such a sense of joy and camaraderie to their work. I genuinely looked forward to each session with Nick, knowing that his skill and warmth were the perfect combination for my healing journey.

Autoimmune patient + chronic shoulder pain Due to my health issues, I was looking for a place where I would be properly assisted with my physical health limitations, but I did not find anything in Port Moody. I ended up going to a regular physio for months until, without any improvement, I once again started researching for a place where a multidisciplinary health professionals could align/combine physiotherapy with rehabilitation, prevention and other needed service as solution. Luckily, The workshop clinic was opening their first clinic in Port Moody and I knew that it was what I was looking for. First, I was assessed by Dr. Louisa, which is a fantastic professional, she took her time to hear me and understanding the processes that I have been through. She took her time and analyzed all the medications that I take in regular basis and was even able to identify why my previous therapy did not work. Yes, meds can interfere in our healing process. She did exam my posture, my arms, where my movements were limited and traced a plan for physio rehab with Exercise therapist named Nick Taylor. Actually, this was the first time that a physiotherapist took their time and examined my entire body. Second round: Nick Taylor! The therapist already had all my file and all the notes from Louisa and gladly he is a truly kind person and an excellent professional. First, he explained what the plan was, he questioned about my health, my concerns, he understood what I was expecting and, little by little he makes you feel comfortable, and he builds your confidence. Nick is exigent, but at the same time, he understands that I am not the most healthy person, and he gives me a small break if I need. This was my 3rd week at the clinic and for the first time in years I am finally feeling much less pain in my shoulder. I just can`t thank you enough. Ah! Did I tell you that they have doggy therapist in this clinic? Yes, It could not be more perfect! I get to pet the dog in between my physio rehab. It makes things easier! ;)

I’ve been going to Nick for training two times a week for half a year now and it’s been great to get back into real workouts from an ex-rugby player who knows what he’s doing. Great planned workouts and great motivator.

Vika is the absolute BEST. Car accident a couple months ago which left me unsure if I’d be able to run the marathon I was training for but she got my back in good shape! Highly recommend!

I had a hugely successful session with Nicholas Tataryn yesterday! It was my first time there. He was easy to talk with, knowledgeable and attentive to every detail without overwhelming me. He has the rare ability to observe and respect my own individual pace and ability while still ensuring that I build that strength I need. I left The Workshop Performance Clinic with the knowledge of which, why, when and how to do all my new exercises. I also knew my a path forward and what to expect. I'd recommend him for anyone!

I have been seeing Louisa Scarlett for many years and has recently joined The Workshop Performance Clinic with even better athletic and gym type facilities. I cannot recommend Louisa highly enough she has kept me playing the sports and activities I love even as I get older and push my body to do more and more. She seems to always figure out how to repair any damage I have done to my body and get me back to my activities asap. She has such an amazing knowledge of sports centered injuries that far exceed anyone I have ever seen before.
