I
was
going
someplace
else
in
the
mall
with
my
girlfriend
and
we
decided
to
stop
and
get
a
gelato
at
this
place.
I
chose
two
scoops,
and
I
think
the
price
was
$6.50.
When
I
gave
the
young
lady
at
the
counter
my
order,
she
asked
me
if
I
wanted
a
cup
and
I
said
yes.
I
walked
around
the
corner
by
the
cash
register
and
saw
her
pick
up
this
little
super
tiny
cup
and
I
called
over
to
her
and
asked
if
that
was
the
actual
size
they
were
serving,
and
she
said
yes.
Then
some
man
comes
out
of
the
back
and
got
all
defensive
and
started
talking
about
how
this
wasn’t
marble
slab
creamery
you
know,
what
do
you
want
a
stack
of
ice
cream
this
high
and
then
moved
his
hands
like
18”
apart.
Wow.
Talk
about
defensive.
And
it
seems
like
I’m
not
the
first
person
to
complain
about
the
portion
size
for
the
amount
of
money
they’re
charging
if
you
read
some
of
the
other
reviews.
Here’s
a
tip
to
whoever
this
man
was:
next
time,
if
you
feel
slightly
insulted
by
somebody
inferring
that
maybe
your
prices
are
a
little
bit
too
high,
or
your
portion
sizes
might
be
a
little
bit
too
small,
rather
than
jump
on
him
and
get
all
defensive,
why
not
just
say
something
like:
We
do
our
very
best
to
keep
prices
down,
but
unfortunately
rent
is
expensive
and
quality
ingredients
cost
money.
That
comes
off
a
lot
nicer
than
jumping
on
somebody.
And
for
the
record,
I
paid
less
money
for
better
gelato
at
other
places.
Yours
really
wasn’t
all
that
great.
The
flavors
were
run-of-the-mill,
no
real
imagination.
Standard
fare
that
really
didn’t
taste
any
better
than,
as
you
DID
say,
marble
slab
creamery.
I
understand
that
with
Covid
times
are
tough,
and
everyone
is
struggling,
but
even
people
who
are
spending
their
money
on
eating
out
are
also
struggling
financially,
so
when
I’m
being
served
a
small
portion
size
of
product
for
a
Fairly
high
price,
and
the
quality
isn’t
there,
I
don’t
think
I’ll
be
coming
back.
Conversely,
I
went
to
a
little
café
the
other
day
that
sold
gelato
and
coffee
and
pastries.
These
people
were
wonderfully
friendly,
the
product
was
fine
although
it
was
nothing
spectacular,
but
the
entire
experience
was
very
pleasant
and
I
will
go
back
because
of
that,
and
I
won’t
go
back
to
this
place
for
exactly
the
opposite
reason.
Food
for
thought.
Review
edit:
and
as
you
were
offended
by
my
use
of
the
word
“girl”
in
the
review,
I
have
changed
it.
I
also
changed
guy
to
man.
Not
sure
why
you
would
be
offended
by
“girl”,
and
not
“guy”.
Seems
kinda
sexist.
And
I
also
never
said
in
the
review
you
closed
down
because
of
Covid.
What
I
suggested
is
that,
like
so
many
other
businesses,
you
might
have
been
financially
affected
by
it.
And
yes-
not
all
gelato
servings
out
there
are
bigger
than
yours.
A
lot
are
the
same
size
as
yours,
but
the
flavors
are
a
lot
more
pleasing.
And
finally,
please
don’t
tell
me
the
words
“marble
slab
creamery”
did
not
come
out
of
your
employee’s/worker’s/gelato
artisan’s
mouth-
because
I
heard
him
say
it.
If
he
can’t
control
what
he
says
in
front
of
customers,
maybe
he
shouldn’t
be
out
front.
