If you are used to the (above) average Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver and find yourself in PoCo, look no further for another great location. I ordered the Spicy Hue which is basically the Bun Bo Hue soup but with other meats rather than the usual pork knuckle and blood gelatin cubes. I much prefer it this way anyway. Their Vietnamese Iced Coffee is made the same way but they pour it over ice and mix it with the condensed milk before serving it to you. I think it could use a little more condensed milk and less ice. It was not as sweet as I am used to. *Upon reading my review, the server was kind enough to give us some syrup to make the drink sweeter. Excellent service bumped this up to a 5 star again!

If you are looking for a high quality Vietnamese restaurant, you defenitely can’t miss this one. I got a chance to try their signature platter and they left me with no regret. Every pieces of the plate were so delicious combined with the sauce. I would love to stop by the restaurant again!

Went here for the first time today and enjoyed the experience overall. This restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, and while I enjoyed my pho, I thought the Thai was the real star. We ordered the Thai Red Chicken Curry, the Basil Thai Spicy Noodle with Beef, and their Beef Ball Pho. The curry had a delicious, creamy flavour, and while the spicy noodle dish wasn't all that spicy, it still had a great, savoury flavour. The pho's broth was also really enjoyable, with the various spices really standing out, but not in an overwhelming way. We decided to dine in, and there were plenty of tables - this place definitely seems more popular for take out orders. All in all, a great spot that I would go back to.

Food is amazing, no matter what you order you cant go wrong. I strongly reccomend bun bo hue if you like spicy, the soup is delicious and complex. Even getting take out the food is delicious and unbeatable. I will forever be a fan and loyal customer!

This place has been open for 6 years and I don't know how I only found it now! Everyone was very friendly. The pho broth was very flavorful, hot and fresh. I had just travelled from Penticton for almost 5 hours to get home and Pho H&P really did an amazing job last night! I had the Rare beef and beef ball pho, size large. It was so good I'm thinking of coming back tonight for another bowl! **Recent update June 15 I'm not going to change my review or stars, however I did give 1 star for service. I got in at 8:30pm and I was politely denied dine in service. I left a little saddened but when I drove past I confirmed that the place was open until 9pm. I called as I was driving to Wendy's and let the staff know I thought they should either put a sign up for last call on dine in or change their hours of operation accordingly. Left disappointed and very hungry 😭

    1. Their table and chairs were toooo sticky and dirty. 2. Ordered P7 and SO6. The taste was so so. 3. They served food for their regular customer first, even though I ordered earlier than him. I'm sure he is a regular because when he came in, a server told him "Do you still want a same thing today?" 4. I was informed they ran out of tripe after about 10mins I ordered. There were four tables full and two tables were waiting for food including me. It's WAY TOO SLOW!!

I do enjoy the pho. I like the soup soup so much. Pad Thai is definitely the highlight of today’s meal. It taste the same as what I had in Thailand. Best pad Thai in poco!

Restaurant located in a quiet plaza. We ordered the G1 Grilled Chicken with rice and large House special noodle soup. Also got a Strawberry mint lemonade on the side. Chicken was grilled to perfection and was really juicy! Try this place out!

Superb food, service, and environment!! Best hot sauce I've ever had! Reminds me of a kind of homemade hot sauce back home in southern China! Signature platter 100% recommended!!!

Atmosphere is a bit stark because of the decor, but the food more than made up for that. I had the pineapple curry with tofu and veggies and it was sooooo good.

it is our first time to eat in this place. What convinced me to eat here was a photo of their fried spring rolls which is wrapped in rice paper and then deep fried. Other places normally use the regular wrapper. Please note that it is only the chicken that is wrapped in rice paper. We tried and it was delicious. We also order a large house special pho which is enough for 2 people to share since we also ordered the chicken satay. Both are very delicious as well. A must try for anyone who love Vietnamese and Thai food. Will come back next time and try the pad Thai and curry dishes.

Decided to eat here spontaneously while on a walk. The pho is slightly plain but definitely not bad, add lime, hoisin, sriracha and chili oil to your liking and its good. Price is very fair. Atmosphere is relax and pleasant. Chicken spring roll was very good

We never realized this restaurant was in this plaza even though we frequent the Save-On and Starbucks. But since it’s so close to home and we wanted some pho, we decided to give it a try. We shared a beef ball pho, chicken satay skewer, fried shrimp roll and fresh shrimp salad roll. -salad roll was a good size, nice balance of vermicelli, shrimp and lettuce/cucumbers. However the dipping sauce is quite sweet - spring roll: tasty, crispy, might be slightly overfried/burnt at the tips - chicken satay: a nice lemongrass flavor with Thai curry dipping sauce. Slightly tough on the outside but still tender inside - pho: slightly bland, unsure how their cooking process/ingredients are. Noodles are tender We were a little skeptical because their menu is broad and included both Vietnamese and Thai food, but there were many good reviews, so might as well try! Lots of good options and a great, quiet place for lunch

I've been coming here several times now for the rice dishes but also tried the pho and Tom yum soup. This is my new favourite in the area.

Before we would always get their thai food instead of the viet food here. They started serving Bun Rieu and it has been my favourite place to come for their Bun Rieu. The rice plate is fine and we also had their mango salad which is on the sweeter side. Their Pad thai is definitely not authentic BUT it is really good (more like a tomato egg fried noodles).
