I was treated to a $10 gift card when spending 20 bucks or more so opted for a Friday Thai Express which admittingly is pretty yummy compared to other fast food takeout or mall options from my experience. I normally always have a go to of their Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว, but this time opted foe the Basil Shrimp on Cauliflower Rice and a Shrimp Thai my Salad which I was pleasantly surprised at the diversity of vegan and gluten free options added to their menu. The flavor was OK at first, but then extremely sweet and both dishes were a huge mop job, a lot of excess oil which didn't taste good and didn't leave my stomach feeling too great. The Cauliflower Rice was also badly undercooked and extremely overly crunchy. Even with the offer, I felt ripped off and didn't feel the value for money here. I'm pretty disappointed and will most likely avoid in the near future.

Disappointed! I ordered the feature item Thairacha (spicy pad-sew) and what I got is the thairacha with rice, totally not what I expected. One staff said they will changes it back but there will be price difference, I’m totally fine with that. Another staff came and told me they sold out of the thairacha sauce and because I already ordered ?!?! Well…. I never seen any kind of customer services like this before in Canada. And now I’m eating the order that I don’t like because the staff mean they don’t wanna to take responsible for it…

Food was great but unbelievably bad customer service!! I used to go with my buddy all the time but not anymore!! The new cashier lady is so rude for no reason!!! Im sorry but im not paying for this service i love thai food i have to find another place now

Quick service and their new Thai iced tea is so good! I thought the “medium spicy” wasn’t spicy enough and the pad thai was a bit too sweet. Overall good quick fast food

The rudest and most impolite server I ever met. I ordered shrimp, asked me to change to beef, then charged me for higher price, came out as artificial beef. Then said “You cannot read ,right?” Refused to give me the $1.2 difference. Food is so salty. Rice is very hard to chew. Bad experience!!!

When people are in the front line of a business they must be customer focused. This is not the case at this place. A very bad and rude attitude from the 2 girls taking the orders. In addition to that, the product is not worth the money you pay for it. Not a recommended place to eat. Look for another alternative.

Quick service and decent quality for a chain.. don’t expect generous portions**. In fact, you'll prob have to order extra proteins or side dishes. Can do better.. Edit** : came back a couple more times and it seemed that our feedback were heard. Our general thai was tasty and portions were satisfying !

They charged me extra for a takeaway box! Who does that? 😏 The person taking the order was also kind of rude, and the dish itself lacked salt.

Took 2 hours for delivery to come,food was completely bland and no taste whatsoever when i ordered extra spicy…food was completely cold an had missing items!!WOULD NOT ORDER FROM HERE EVER AGAIN!!

Out of all thai express branches, this is the best one. Their cooking is consistently good except super busy hours.

Food was actually pretty good - peanut sauce had a strong flavour which seems to be uncommon for fast food Thai places like this, and vegetables also had a good taste. Tofu was had nice texture but I would have liked a stronger flavour. Service however was not great - I was the only person there and I had to wait at the register for a while staff chatted with a friend who wasn't even a customer.

Food was well cooked and tastes fresh unlike the one at Metrotown

I have been going here for years and I don't know what has changed, but the food has gone significantly downhill in both quality and taste. It's disappointing, but at least there are other options in the area. I don't know if its just me but has been so bland and tasteless. Also, the chicken pad thai gave me food poisoning and tasted undercooked, so I have ordered tofu dishes on recent visits. I have tried ordering things with extra sauce (which costs extra $) in order to try and help the lack of flavor. It has not. They only added extra chili flakes instead. Better off going elsewhere in my opinion.

I use to go here all the time for pad Thai. Haven't been in forever. I ordered 1 steam n 1 fried chickendumpling with peanut sauce no Thai chili. Because it would normally be served in 2! Different container with lids, I asked could it be in 1. Happy to pay if need. Save environment. Both girls glaring at me, talking and looking at me. Proceed to giggle looking at me. Rolled her eyes. Then 1 girl, said Dumplings! I picked it up, she said next time we will charge you if u ask fir 1 container. So, I understand you don't charge me fir 2 lids n 2 containers, but if I ask for 1 you do? Gave me dumplings no utensils.!?? How am I to eat peanut sauce covered dumplings? Thing is, I offered to pay for container. Rude and bad service. Customer waiting found me and said how rude. Thought It was just me. Apparently, rude to them to. Dismissive . Disappointing 😞

Most delicious place of other Thai express locations. Pad seew is not twisted with broccoli.

I wanted to like this better. I ordered my food spicy and there was no spice at all. Overall I ate only about half and tossed the rest. A bit disappointing, even for food court food. It could have just been an off day. I'll try it again some time.
