Evening of December 13th. Placed an order for delivery, family sized lasagna and 2 pops. Received order about an hour later, and upon opening it I saw a long black hair baked into the dish. Please see attached image. I called the restaurant to request a refund OR a store credit and the incompetent manager 'Mary' states that she can only send a new order and is unable to provide me with a refund or a store credit as per the 'rules of san remos' to which I responded that I was not going to wait another hour for dinner and had lost my appetite for their restaurant. I understand mistakes happen, I wasn't even mad at the situation but instead at how she decided to deal with it. She sent out another delivery which took another hour. Used to be a local fav for pizza and pasta, but I will not be supporting this poorly run establishment any longer

FOOD POISONING ALERT!! September 4th, Saturday movie pizza night, we choose San remo half greek half house special pizza. We had 2 slices of each, half way through the movie almost exactly same time we both ran up to washroom with vomiting and diarrhoea. Called them to report and "assistant manager Mary" was busy defending how it's not their fault. No sympathy, no apology. Well done Mary!! Learned my lesson. NO MORE PIZZA FROM HERE.

Went to this pizza place other night with some friends. They recommend it. I really enjoyed the service. The toppings were really thick and it was very tasty and well put together. Everything thing was wonderful. Price point was fair and portions were good. We ordered a large and 3 of use could not finish it. Also had appetizers were also delicious.

Surprisingly good! 👍🏼 I’m one of those that who doesn’t eat the edge, but for this traditional pizza 🍕 crust, I made a yummy 😋 exception. Good quality ingredients make a huge difference and this thick pizza has them. I’d just add a bit of salt 🧂 to it , because diced tomatoes 🍅 can take the flavour away from the deli meats…a few drops of Worcestershire sauce will do the trick . Very nice ambiance and good customer service.

Not a bad place. The pizza is good but I did find them a bit salty. I'm glad I ordered the Hawaiian as well since the pineapple flavor helps cut into the saltiness. Service was a bit questionable as our server seemed distracted as she didn't understand "Kokanee" beer and then got our pizza order wrong. They were kind enough to correct the mistake by giving us a free pizza of what I did order. Decent place overall, but I personally wouldn't drive out there again just for their pizza as it is quite a ways from me.

Extremely delicious pizza. The crust is insanely good and toppings are fresh and well presented. Jessica was very kind and professional. Atmosphere and smell is also very good. You will like the vibe. As you walk in you will feel the oven delicious smell. 😋 Place is clean and convenient.

Came with the family, and we had a great time. Great service and good food. Kids really enjoyed the pizzas! The pasta didn't do it for me, but overall, it was a good experience

Mixed review. Pizza is very good!! I've only ever ordered take out and had no complaints. The other night I called in and they said I could place a take out order as they were closing in 20min, perfect worked for me. I order the lasagne which I haven't had here before. Well it's literally 90% noodles, 5% cheese and 5% sauce and not good sauce at that, just very bland with little meat and lots of pepper. I won't order it again.

Very very upsetting We order all the time from San remos and never had any issues. Delicious pizza and pasta. But tonight we ordered our regular 2 medium pizzas and upon picking it up taking it home and opening the box we seen that they put pineapple all over the pizza when we ordered a meat pizza with shrimp added. When I called the manager argued with me about a credit saying she would remake our pizza and deliver it. We said no thank you. She then said that she would only credit us for a small pizza when we paid $60 for 2 medium pizzas! After some more arguments she finally gave us a credit for one medium which was all I was asking for. Horrible customer service and we most likely will never go back because of her. Be aware there’s other complaints about this management.

We had the most wonderful time. Our first time in and on our 31st Anniversary. The food was absolutely amazing my husband for the first time ever took a doggie bag home and we eat out at restaurants frequently 😉🥂 The service was extremely attentive and friendly. Our assistant Payton was so sweet and caring. We will definitely be returning often🥰🤘🥂

I had never been here before, and was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved their pizza! Very very hearty and they don't skimp on toppings. Nice atmosphere and great service!

We placed an order for delivery. The hostess was polite and friendly. Delivery time was less than the hour they quoted, and the delivery man was polite and friendly, too. Service was great. Quality of food? San Remo has some of the best food I have ever had. John's Special Pizza Subs are a foot long, monsterous, and cheesy. Jim's Specialty Pizza - don't let the dark crust fool you; it's surprisingly soft and very crispy. Both subs and the pizza were flavorful, and arrived piping hot. Quality ingredients, cooked perfectly and fair pricing for the amount of food you get.

I really wanted to give this place a chance. But the pasta sauce and meatballs had way too much pepper. So much I simply could not enjoy the meal. And my wife's lasagna was like a soup made of pasta and sauce, with cheese on top. Super weird. She just ate the cheese. I highly recommend the owners to experiment with adjusting/improving their sauce. 1/3 of the pepper should suffice. Sadly the highlight of our meals were my diet coke and the complimentary garlic bread (which is very good).

Alrighy, I ordered 2 large pizzas for take out, first time customer. When I opened th boxes I was amazed by the beauty of these pies. they were thick and heavy as they were loaded with delicios toppings. We all loved the flavour and the crust is to die for! My only complint is the price, at $75 for 2 large pizzas I find it quite steep.

Terrible, godawful management. Neither boss seems to know how to cooperate and lead the staff effectively. If they stepped down and someone new came into the role, along with a small renovation update, it could see a real change in their business. Shame; the pizza is pretty good. All the time, a lot of yelling that can be heard clearly in the restaurant. Rather stressful to sit with. Order takeout instead.

Our first time experience was a pleasant one. We were a little confused at first, because it sounded like they were closing early, then half of the menu was missing from the take-out list, we also had to pay in advance. I thought they weren't doing dine-in and we had to take out. The cashier ended up becoming our server too, which was also confusing. Overall, the food was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! Service was also exceptional from our blonde server. We hope to return here again soon! Thanks for your hospitality.

Enjoyed a group dinner at San Remo last night. The restaurant has been on Flint Street in Poco since 1985, though its current larger premises are a much more modern & comfortable venue. San Remo has always been known for their pizza, and last night was no exception - the pies were immensely filling and all excellent. The menu is more diverse than just pizza, but that happened to be what we were in the mood for & were happy to partake. We tried four different, my personal favourite being Bill's Mediterranean. Staff was on point, accommodated our large group and delivered perfect service. The photos are of some of the slices that were taken home (a Jim's Super Special, I think). Always a treat whenever we get to visit, and if I lived closer it would be my go-to choice for pizza, no hesitation.

When we lived in the Tri-City area several years ago. San Remo was our favorite place for Italian food. Also, our family would go there for special occasions, birthdays and anniversary's etc. We were in the area and decided to stop in for dinner. The pizza and lasagna was our family's favorites to order. Family owned for over 40 years. The brothers Bill and John take a real pride in everything they do. They do not cut any corners, they use the best of ingredients and it shows in the quality and consistency of the food. The restaurant inside is the kind of place you feel right at home. We had to order the "Bills Special" pizza. This is one of our favorites and there are so many to choose from. The crust very flavorful and on the thicker side, almost Chicago style. All of the toppings compliment one another. There is no way you can have just one piece. And for dessert we shared a slice of Tiramisu. So light and flavorful, one of the best we have had anywhere. The service is exceptional, no rushing or hovering. Friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. If you are in the area, stop in. You will not be disappointed. We will be making up excuses in future to be in the Tri-City area. So we can stop in for dinner on a more regular basis.

The food is always delicious and well prepared. The pizza is great. It has ample sauce, spice, and toppings. The fettuccine is amazing as well. It has great flavor, and the serving size is huge. I recently tried spaghetti and meatballs, it was a bit bland for me but I like things spicy, so if you don't, I think you would really enjoy it. The staff is always friendly no matter how busy it is in the restaurant. I definitely recommend you give them a try.

Ordered the family size lasagna and large house special pizza without onions. It's the best lasagna I've had. Very cheesy and crispy slightly burnt cheese on top. Pizza is loaded with real sliced ham, pepperoni and loaded with toppings so much it keeps falling when we eat. Lots of value for what you pay for...loaded with top of the line ingredients

I was out for a work dinner, and we had an excellent meal. My colleagues got the pizza while I got the wild sockeye salmon. The pizzas were flavourful and very filling. The salmon was perfectly cooked, with a rich, well garnished pasta and huge piece of garlic bread. Overall, an excellent meal.

Due to covid they only have delivery and pick up at the moment. Unsure how the dine in experience is. But take out was good, super friendly service over the phone and in person during pick up. We ordered a few boxes of pizza and they were piping hot. Personally I'm not a fan of their deep dish pizza. But my partner loved it and said it was very flavorful, loaded with toppings and fresh.

I order once in while when Im hungry for dishes that remind of the local shops in the middle east. Heavily packed sandwiches and pizzas with an overall salty taste. Very polite over the phone and great customer service. Guy on the phone taking my order was very professional and welcoming. Kudos to yo A little overpriced as well

San Remos always provides the best quality service with the best quality food. I apologize to them tonight for thinking there was a mistake.. But I just did not see all that came in. They always have been my favourite place for pizza & wings takeout in pt Coquitlam

Based on delivery, not dine in. Pros: good quality ingredients, generous toppings, carefully made, free local delivery, very friendly service over the phone as well as delivery guy Cons: tomato sauce base had a slight nutmeg (?) taste, sturdy crust and certainly thick but not very crisp - was wet and dense (could have been from delivery sitting in box)

  • 4/5 K 3 years ago on Google
Ordered for delivery and it went excellent! Friendly service over the phone and pizza arrived in just over an hour (slightly longer then quoted). I ordered the vegetarian and it was packed full of veggies!! I typically enjoy thin crust pizza but I had to give this a chance due to all the positive reviews. It was delicious!

  • 5/5 Karen R. 3 years ago on Google
Great place. Always on time. Perfect place to get a deep dish type pizza. Super filling though so I always find myself over-ordering and it for every meal the next day.

Just moved to the area from the west end of Vancouver and I’ve been looking for a good Greek style pizza place to replace my regular favorite in Vancouver. Read some raves about San Remo so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered for delivery a large Hawaiian with extra cheese. It arrived on time, and reasonably hot. The delivery driver was polite. I guess it’s just a matter that you get used to something that you really really like, and when you try to replace that thing to make comparisons. I used to love the pizza at Olympia Pizza on Denman street. I’ve loved that place for decades, and just really enjoy their pizza. The pizza I received last night from San Remo was very very similar, and truth be told it tasted close enough that based on that I would probably order it again. It was just so freaking expensive. For what I used to pay about $23 for in the West End was almost 50% more expensive from San Remo. Good pizza, but you pay through the nose for it.

love dine in pizza places, their pizza is expensive but worth it with how much they loaded it up. Definitely recommend this place

  • 2/5 The P. 3 years ago on Google
Their pizza is 'heavy' indeed i.e. being loaded with toppings but ... that doesn't really makes for a great pizza, imo. More like a sub loaded with a lot of stuff. It is more of an American pizza as opposed to a real Italian pizza which has less toppings and tastes great. Their delivery driver didn't have change so he got a hefty tip.

  • 5/5 Adam R. 3 years ago on Google
Haven't had a bad experience yet. Love the lasagna. Will return.

  • 5/5 Chris B. 3 years ago on Google
The prices are higher than the average benchmark for pizza take-out, but you will not be left hungry! This is the ultimate heavy weight champion of pizza. Premium quality and 100% satisfaction. They deliver the thickest, densest, deepest pies fully loaded with toppings. Garlic bread and greek salad were equally proportioned to the massive pizza, and fantastic quality too. A medium vegetarian + small greek salad fed 2 adults dinner, lunch and dinner again. I'm already looking forward to ordering from them again 🤤

There are very few pizzerias that make your mouth water at the thought of just savouring on one of their slices and this place is that. I would say this is one of the top five I'm eating that throughout Canada. I'd be hard-pressed to find anything better in the surrounding area as well.
