Everything tastes better when it's free, so it's worth getting on the Waves app rewards bandwagon! Especially since I'd consider it a rad experience, but expensive especially for a major chain. Great consistency and delicious yummy drinks from efficient service with a smile always from Waves. The joint itself is very nice, quaint and relaxed comforting vibe with plenty of indoor seating. Support and big love for the Great White North! 🍁

Lost my order, waited 15 minutes and made me late for another appointment. Staff said it "happens sometimes" and although they apologised, it wasn't particularly focused on me & still took a while. I was not offered any further customer service gesture.

Such a great place to grab a coffee or a bite. Located at a great location, very close to the pier and the interior architecture is quite exquisite, the chandeliers add a flair to the aesthetic of the coffee shop. We ordered a Caramel Macchiato-which was perfect- and a Dark Chocolate Macchiato that was a bit bitter for my liking. I will definitely return when the opportunity arises to try more drinks and food items on their menu.

Cakes are too sweet. Coffee, environment and service is okay.

I always come here and get the Waves size matcha frappe sweetened, made with ice cream and whipped cream on top. They make it perfect every single time and I’ve never had a complaint. Such friendly staff and so understanding because I sometimes forget to tell them to put the whipped cream but they still do it when I realize which I really appreciate.

Ridiculous customer service by the girl who’s name started with the letter K. She took my order on the 14th of March and was extremely impolite. She didn’t even bother to greet us. I absolutely love waves coffee but don’t recommend this store at all.

The coffee is meh but mostly I’m not loving their attitude about covid/vaccine passports. When I offered my passport they said “we don’t do that here”. okay cool, but it’s not up to you? Any other cafe has way better drinks and food and they actual follow protocol. And in advance, no I don’t want to email you about my experience.

Love the staff! Love the caffeine free choices! It can get noisy with the structure of the building having great acoustics, so bring headphones!

I have been going here for ages since I live really close. I always order the same or very similar things, and have always been pleased with the level of service. Recently however the quality of their drinks have been going down hill, and I fully believe, based on their viewable prep area that it is due to staff taking shortcuts. Not only that, but they're consistently out of the most basic of items. Chocolate chip cookies (out for last 5+ days) and the main ingredient in their frappes, Ice Cream mix (2+ days now) Most of their staff are still fantastic, but it's clear there is something wrong in paradise. This is especially concerning seeing as their corporate office is located in the back of the store. I have walked out now without buying anything three times this week.

I heard from my friend that the Waves are great but the store I went this afternoon was absolutely a mistake. We ordered 2 wraps to stay and were served on plates. My friend accidentally dropped her fork down to Floor when we walked to our table. I picked it up and turned back to exchange a new one. AND THE WAITRESS Lady, An AT BACK OF COUNTER ROLLED HER EYES TO ME AND THROWED A DISPOSALABLE FORK ON THE COUNTER. I asked if I may have a stainless steel one to be environmentally friendly, she SHOWED HER POKER FACE and reluctantly fetched me a strange shape fork from back kitchen (there are a lot of available by the front counter) with a more angry face. I was surprised and asked the other waiter next to us if I caused any trouble to her work and should be sorry? THE WAITER STARED AT ME W/O AND TURNED BACK TO CLEAN HIS COFFEE MACHINE. Well, my friend saw everything and we felt totally a wrong decision trying find a leisure afternoon at the store. Wouldn't pay the tips for sure if we had known the service was horrible like that. Never would go to this Waves again

The ambience is really clean and hygienic, the aroma in the air of coffee is just absolutely magnificent, it’s very reasonable in terms of price, their cheesecake’s are also delicious

Tried their dip coffee & bistro spinach feta, I really liked their feta it was good in taste and quality but the coffee was average. Store was well maintained and clean and there was not much crowd over there. There is no free parking available, you will have to park your car under paid meter.

Found coffee grounds in the bottom of my cup, my latte was a little too strong for my taste. I've had better elsewhere.

Great coffee choices. Their dark mocha's use real dark chocolate chunks that has to be broken into a paste; they don't use a syrup.

Enjoyed this cafe lol they gave us the wave cup size of coffee lol its like the size of a mini jucuzzi lol The coffee was decent like 7/10. The servers were all very nice. We enjoyed the lemon pound cake and the cheesecake.

I came here on Friday, October 20th at around 3:25pm. I stood by the display case, trying to make up my mind. The barista didn't greet me when I approached, I was the first to say "hi" and got a not so friendly hi back. I asked if they had more vegan/vegatarian options for food and didn't really get an answer. Feeling rushed, I ordered a spinach feta egg wrap and a Waves size Matcha latte. I wasn't asked if it was to-go or for there. When my drink and wrap were ready, I walked up and thanked both girls working there and got no reply back. No "have a great day" or "thanks, see you again". They obviously didn't want to be there. Perhaps need a refreshment on proper customer service and being friendly. Left a bad taste and I would not go back. Lots of other nice coffee shops out there that offer good service and care.

I just wanted to thank the employees so much who where working there today, they really showed the best possible customer service and they really made my morning better with their attitude and the coffee!!

Muffin isn't warm inside and the lady touched the rim of my mug, so i had her transfer it to a paper cup. This is where i learned the "Regular" mug is quite smaller than the paper vessel.

9 now this way is this place is something special it's always back to the nuts but they never make you wait I sat in there for 15 minutes waiting for a taxi without a drink one day nobody bothered me they allowed me to use the washroom they're very very friendly I highly recommend this coffee place

Inside this waves look very fancy with the chandeliers. I prefer this location with patio outside and the view of Royal city over the 6th street location which is at a busy terminal with no seating outside.

Prices are way better than Starbucks. On my frappe I got icecream and whipped cream for free. It was clean and a nice atmosphere. Staff were very polite.

Drinks were good. Place is comfortable to have a small chat. Service was decent.

Nice staff, but that's about it. Ordered a dark hot chocolate and it tasted like warm milk with a hint of nesquik. Didn't get this quality at other Waves... gonna try elsewhere😅

I love matcha green late for here, but i went with a friend and i told him that waives have the best Macha of all the coffee shops and the person that helps us didn't say anything, she didn't even say hi or buy ot thank you. It was super strange to ne since i work in costumer service industry and i know what good service is. She didn't even bother to talk. I guess it was her bad day or whatever.

Great place to work and good coffee. Be cautious about their baked goods. Sometimes they are stale.

Fast service and good quality coffe and cake. Very friendly batista and a relaxing atmosphere.

I love the mango cheese cake it was delicious and so was the chicken ceaser salad. The coffee tastes like a cloud if I could give it 10/5 I would - my 11 year old daughter

The slowest service I ever experienced. The girl was cleaning her nails after each time she was adding an ingredient. I wonder what she is going to do if the store is busy!!!

I am obsessed with waves coffee specially Belgian mocha. I have been to this location earlier and no complaints with the quality of mocha I get from this place. But yesterday, the lady working in the evening made the worst mocha I ever had. Couldn’t go back and ask for another one. I think she needs more training.
