Interesting history. Great to pop into when in the area or travelling from Vancouver Island up to Vancouver city. Excellent opportunity to have a break, stretch legs and enjoy the history. Conductor was very informative. Huge amount of effort has gone into the place including the surrounding quaint town.

A free little museum to learn about the local history of the tram into Steveston. Staff were in uniform and were very knowledgeable in answering historical questions. There are also little conductor costumes to be tried on for a photo-op with the tram. Note: the museum is accessible but the tram itself is not. There are also no washrooms available on site although washrooms can be found in the Steveston community centre adjacent to it. Expect to spend approximately 20 minutes.

The people here were super nice and showed us the nice backstory of the steveston tram that ran from Vancouver to Richmond. The entrance is free and you do get to go inside the tram itself which is really cool. I’d definitely come here again and I totally recommend coming here.

This place is so cute!!! I can't believe it's free. The woman working there gave us a little tour and all these interesting facts, and even took a picture of us. Really cool little museum, would definitely recommend popping in for a few photos and some neat information.

Beautifully restored tram with a rich history that was explained by a volunteer. Admission is free but donations are accepted.

One of the places shows why Steveston is historic. Great place to bring your children when open.

Cool museum, vintage train. Pretty simple, but I like it nonetheless, as it is a piece of history from when our ancestors rode these trams from place to place.

My kids love visiting this place. You are allowed to enter the tram and look around. Great picture opportunities here. Also you can collect a visit card that gets punched like a ticket every time you visit.

What a great experience. Lots to learn about and good to know history for our transportation systems. I didn't catch the name of our guide but he was amazing. We went on December 29, 2023.

A great little museum to check out when you're in Steveston - for free! Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, and it was fun to tour the tram and check out the old-school advertisements on it.

I was touring around at Steveston Village on Christmas Day. It happened for me to see these special custom Lego built historical buildings designed by Peter Grant. All of them looked amazing. I couldn’t see them anywhere else. Displaying them at Steveston Tram for the public is definitely a great idea. People can learn more about the history in this neighbourhood. I should come back on a day that Steveston Tram would be opened, so I could go inside and see more details and learn more history in Richmond.

Parked the car and actually walked right passed it without realizing it was there. I only saw it on my way back to the car. It was free admission so decided to check it out. An historic electric tram that used to move people in the Vancouver area.

Update: Steveston team car update includes retro ads and mock customer freight such as farm produce transport! Might be surprised since some ads include some familiar names. Small museum safekeeping actual vintage tram inside. Slowly refurbished repairs allows visitors to hop inside tram car. Previous years on Canada Day this same tram was exhibited outside museum space for public viewing attraction on top of remaining car rails outside museum back.

Beautiful restored Tram. A good piece of history which is preserved. Unfortunately, to date there is no train or tram going from Vancouver to Steveston.

Great place to bring your kids and family. Got to learn about the history regarding the tram, great experience and I believe the lady name Cathy gave us a very detail and friendly tour, thank you!

The Steveston Tram curator made this trip for me. It was such an informative visit, I couldn’t stop talking about it after I left.

There is a similar exhibit at Burnaby Village, but Steveston is much nicer as you can actually go inside the tram. Love the free admission too. Glad to see this part of history being preserved.
