I hate that you can’t buy or touch anything in the makeup area anymore, you are chased like a thief. I was there today to buy grocery and I was willing to pay immediately the makeup in the makeup area (they have a portable payment point). The lady took everything from my daughters hands as she was stealing and said come with me. Very unpleasant, we went through the supermarket after her until the self service check out area, where another lady wanted to do for me the self checkout. At that point I told her I was able to do it myself thank you! She stayed there staring at me. I decided not to do my grocery shopping after that since I was escorted till that point, and I’m a really good customer. Never felt like this before, I don’t care what the new reason is but being polite and apologizing would be the least they should do instead of staring at everyone and make you feel uncomfortable. I will shop my makeup at Sephora, shoppers or superstore, and probably also my grocery since everything is doubled anyway in the last period.

Avoid this walmart. Visited this walmart Thursday Aug 25th at 630-730pm. Employees in produce section blocking the salad mixes completely oblivious to me and other customers trying to get groceries that they are blocking. Meanwhile this Employee (pictured) and another talking about how they hate their job and are quitting. No wonder there are stacks of pallets sitting warm with products like lettus that says "keep refrigerated" just sitting there. I felt the produce in the pallet... they are warm. Noone putting them away. Also this lady put her hands on the boxes of lettus multiple times to reorganize them. Not noticing they are expired by days. I've had so much bad products from this store. Another time all their fridges stopped working and they just kept everything on the floor for hours not being refrigerated. Be careful what you buy here. Or go to a different location. VERY DISAPPOINTED! The box of spring mix I bought I can only use half yue box because it was probably left out to long and now it's all rotten.

Big location and layout! Customer service is friendly and helpful! This location has picked up their game and took some suggestions on their cleanliness of the store. I still feel it needs some better organization and placement of their products! The greeting staff are always a key, quick to say hello, and welcome you to the store. I love the self checkouts! This store seems to be low on stock often, not too sure what the issue is there. Lots of parking and wheelchair accessible washrooms and parking. Washrooms are equipped with child change tables and safety disposal for syringes.

I’ll never be going back to this Walmart especially on the electronics section. I’ve been roaming around looking for the Apple Watch that I saw on the latest flyer of Walmart then the old lady that was there is eyeing me. When there’s no more customer paying their stuffs, she suddenly walked behind me. I don’t want to be rude so I asked her. I asked her where can I find the item, and she told me “Apple store obviously”. I feel so embarrassed as there’s a lot of people behind me. I told her that I saw a flyer but she didn’t believe me until one employee came and said that some stores offer that item but not this location because this Walmart in Coquitlam Mall is “SMALL!” But that didn’t end everything! I said my gratitude. I smiled and said thanks but the old lady continued to blabber about the Apple Watch I asked in front of people!! It’s makes me feel embarrassed! I don’t care anymore about the discounted price if the employees are very rude! They said it’s not wrong to ask question but guess in this store, it does!

Shopping at this Walmart has become an Unpleasant Ordeal. Recently I discovered the pharmacy Aisles are cordoned off with only one way in & out. Then if you want to exit the store you have to walk thru the self checkout. & this is on top of the many rude staff members. How about I make it easier on myself next time & not shop at this Dystopian Nightmare of a Store. 😳 I will take my money someplace else.

Floor attendants, or so-called “customer service reps” are the worst among all the department stores. If you ask for any item, and they have to walk to find it, they would better off just say “it’s out of stock”. After which I have to go and look around and find the product i was asking for. And in most cases i can find the item. I just hate the fact that people who supposedly should help you with your shopping experience are people who make that experience worse.

Yesterday Saturday, Dec 09,2023 weekend time, I went to Walmart Cocktails Center to shop, and after making a substantial purchase, I requested them to provide me with a large bag instead of the small one they offered after payment. They informed me that they only had a small size available. I asked to speak with the manager, and Mr. Jonathan Do, who apparently is the manager of Walmart Cocktails, came and rudely stated that they only have small bags. Consequently, I had to pack my extensive purchases into several small bags and struggled to carry them back to my apartment.

Founctional, and clean, and well-stocked Walmart. This is one of the newest in town. It’s not as big as many other large Supercentres but again it delivers. I firmly believe Walmart is one of the pillars of the modern society in the US and Canada and that they, with their low prices (no strange markups like some competition) deliver food too all social classes. And they are a great first (and more) job for many. This particular store has a pharmacy, electronics store, photo centre (but they don’t take photos; essentially just printers), and deli shop.

Ir is a good store to buy groceries, mainly bread and fruit/ vegetables, and gadgets on good prices. Clothing section is pretty expensive, sometimes rip off. There are some additional services offered there, like: key maker, ATM, print pictures and a cheap Burger King. The customer service usually is kind and fast to serve the clients. There are many seasonal aisles. Pharmacy is poor in quantity of products. Most of them are sold out. International aisle could be better. Job interview is weird, with standardized questions no matter the position. The good side is the store is inside the Coquitlam center mall,.so you can enjoy a good food court or just shopping around!

I was searching for large safety pins to do a craft with my students having no luck anywhere, so on a whim I thought I would check Walmart with very low expectations of actually finding the over 600 that I needed. Not knowing the store very well, I decided to ask an employee for help. I wish I looked at the person's name tag because she went above and beyond offering to take me to the aisle they were in. I accepted her offer and to my surprise, Walmart had more than enough in stock! To the female employee working the evening of November 6 who wore a scarf and head covering, you were super helpful enabling me to get the needed supplies for a Remembrance Day craft. Myself and my students are very grateful 🙏

The manager was very rude and described people shopping for clearance items as stealing their products (not in a sarcastic way). I cannot believe it. They literally treat you like a thief if you talk about price matches. The worst shopping exp in my life.

The standard LIVING WAGE in BC is set around $24 an hour, this is just enough to survive with basic needs. Yet Walmart is paying their managers $16-$18 an hour. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES PROPERLY THEY WORK HARD. Walmart is unethical and they take advantage of the most vulnerable people such as Women, immigrants, people with disabilities, and all other marginalized groups. I encourage everyone to leave reviews that matter. Stand up for the most vulnerable!!!! It’s time to wake up!!! It breaks my heart to hear from their own employees how much they struggle to support themselves.

I hate shopping here and only do so because of proximity. They NEVER have any baskets anymore. They used to, but now it doesn’t matter which entrance I go in, the mall or the street, no baskets. I ask a worker for a basket and they tell me to walk to the other entrance and get one there. No baskets. And it’s $1 for a cart. Who carry’s change anymore? I fumble around and carry my armfuls of groceries, dropping things on the ground. Really sucks for Walmarts because then I severely limit what I purchase.

It is Monday September 12th. I arrived at the store for an online order pickup of 2 picture frames. It has been over 30 minutes and no one has brought me my order. There is clearly staffing issues, and no one knows what they are doing. Even after bringing it to multiple staff attention all they have done is say sorry, and proceed to stand around. There are multiple people who have also been waiting the same amount of time. I will never order anything online from Walmart EVER again. What a complete waste of my valuable time.

I went to Walmart Today & I Saw Like about 7-10 people NOT wearing masks inside! I also didnt even get greeted by the greeter when I first walked in! I also truly think that the Walmart Staff should definitely not allow people who aren't actually wearing mask to come into Walmart or come inside AT ALL Whatsoever or just have a few packs of masks on hand where the hand santizer dispenser is at the entrance of Walmart near the H&M & the greeter says hi and hand out masks who want to come inside that either don't have or is wearing a mask using a pair of long tweezers or by hand. I still Absoulutely love Walmart supercentre! They have of variety of clothes, toys, pajamas and a whole bunch of selection of food and snacks and they also have my very most favorite bag of purple Fuego Lime Takis chips! Today when I went to buy more of the mini verse make it balls diner, I wanted to buy 3 of them orginally and I asked how much would it be for 2 and the guy at the cashier was super nice and when I gave him $34 dollars in cash and coins, he gave me back 2 of my $1 coins and he was so nice and said it was okay with him and he let just pay $32 dollars instead of the $34.55 or $34.97 dollars! And that really really truly made my day! Thanks to that guy, I really hope that he doesn't get fired for doing that! The Takis Fuego Chips and other chips are 2 for $6 promotion and it clearly states on the signs 2 for $6 on all Nitro, Cheese & Fuego Lime Takis Chips! It's so ridiculous and the lady at the self checkout was helping paying my Chips all the way through & she literally pushed my debit card against the tap on the machine and she was also very creepy and wanted to help me and she clearly thought that I had no idea and don't know how to use the machine & self check out!

Clean and light shopping floor. Comfortable shopping environment with music provided. Price is pretty good. Employees are basically nice and friendly. Self check out option available. Credit cards accepted. Public restrooms available. Located inside the Coquitlam center shopping mall. Free mall parking available. Skytrain and bus stations nearby.

Yesterday I visited the store and ASIF (Most probably he is cashier) helped me to find an item for me when he was asked to. He was very well-behaved and soft spoken. I saw he was very helpful to the other customers too. Otherwise, this store is unorganized in most of the cases.

I shop at this location often, but I am always followed around by employees. It's very uncomfortable to shop somewhere where I'm being followed every isle I go down, especially considering I've just been shopping for my pregnant wife. This location always has very little stock anyways, so I think I'll start taking my business elsewhere

Extremely rude lady customer service manager who clearly does not understand the company’s policies and refuses to process returns on a product that caused adverse reactions for me. Not to mention the shelves are always empty and never that never gets restocked. Sales associates would rather stand there and talk amongst themselves than to help customers. Go to the other locations, this store is not worth your time.

The older lady with gray hair at the electronics department is the rudest, most unfriendly, and unwelcoming employee that I have encountered. I noticed that she was following me around and looking at everything I do (which made me rather uncomfortable), so I decided to ask her for help finding a portable charger. She acted like I was inconveniencing her. She then proceeded to show me the portable chargers and told me to pick one. She saw a misplaced item and wanted to put it in the right spot, so she ordered me to stand up like I was a dog when I was bent over looking at the chargers so she could get in front of me and fix it. When I went to pay, she gave me the coldest and rudest attitude. No eye contact and an aggressive tone. She did not say “thank you” or “goodbye” or anything at the end of the purchase. I have seen several complaints about this specific lady already, so it looks like management does not do anything about it. If I need to get anything related to electronics I will explore any other option before I go to Walmart. There is a Best Buy and London Drugs in the mall with great selections and staff that I have never had problems with.
