I went in for an eye exam. The optometrist did not introduce himself, was curt, and even asked me to get up and close the door for him!

i had a horrible experience here with Dr. Ing, he was very rude, and wouldn't let me finish a sentence.. I had a lot of trouble with my new glasses and after being blamed for buying too big of frames " for fashion ", and other unnecessary remarks, it had turned out that my glasses had the wrong measurements (as I originally thought and was told that couldn't be it, so paid for an eye exam for it to be true).. not only did I pay for a bad experience, he told me i was wasting my time and money with the appointment.. I regret NOT asking for my money back.. Definitely not coming back, and definitely told my family and friends about this doctor.

THEY CANCELED MY ORDER BECAUSE OF MY ONE-STAR REVIEW HERE. I didn’t want to describe my experience with them, but they made me do so. They made me wait for finalizing a contact lens prescription for six months when I called them multiple times during this time, and nobody knew what’s happening. Now that I gave them a one-star review, they called me this morning and acted like they wanted to know why I gave them this review and solve the problem. Then they called me this afternoon and told me that ”we will refund your contact lenses purchase, and we cannot any longer provide you any service.” (just because of a one-star review) Thanks for your terrible customer service. I cannot believe that I decided to order my contact lenses with you after what you put me through. They convinced me that this one-star review was what they truly deserved. Although the doctor who did the eye exam was very respectful, I would not recommend them.

Just horrible customer service. I was trying to buy a pair of glasses I had my eye on that they had. One lady working there does not greet you and always sits on her computer when you walk-in and just seems disinterested with everything. Walked right out.

I would not recommend a chain store for my eyes. The doctor was lovely, but the front-end lacked greatly. Went in one day to pick up my glasses. Only 1 person working, so I was told to come back later. I left but thought, no, I made this trip specifically to pick up my glasses. Tried new glasses for a few days, but progressives seemed to not be working for me. Grace told me to come in the next day and she would help me. When I got there, she was socializing with people in the mall, playing with their toddler. I waited 10+ min. When she was done playing with the people's baby, she walked past me to the back where a patient, who had already been working with her, was also waiting while she was socializing. I got up and left, leaving with glasses that don't seem to work for me. And don't be fooled by the 2 for 1. I still shelled out $500+ for something I'll never use. Next time, I will go to an independent optometrist with proper staffing, and where customer care is a priority.

My first time visiting Specsavers for an eye exam and I must say, what a clean and bright place! My eye appointment with Dr. Atwal was wonderful. She’s a great doctor and I am a loyal patient of hers for many years because she continues to provide me with the utmost care and attention with every visit. She is kind and thorough and I really appreciate that. I highly recommend booking with her if you’re in search of a great and caring optometrist! On the sales floor, I saw some good deals on many styles of eyeglasses and sunglasses. Hope to come back to buy a pair or two soon!

The store was clean and the staff very friendly. What I would say that could improve the customer experience, is to have a binder at each station with information on the types of Len type that you have and a description that make it a bit easier for a customer to compare. Most Optometry businesses will have a pamphlet that a customer can take to read up one lens before they choose frames.

Excellent and immaculate service. All the staff were so professional, courteous and attentive to my needs. Very friendly and helpful. I have been wearing glasses for more than fifty years and this is the most wonderful experience I ever had in an optical store.

Today, my parents and I visited Specsavers in Coquitlam Mall to address the issue of my mom's broken glasses. We were fortunate to receive exceptional customer service from Kimia B. She skillfully assisted us in fixing both pairs of glasses. The service we received was characterized by professionalism and patience. We are truly grateful.

I have tried now the service of Specsavers in Coquitlam Centre and I have to say I'm blown away. The service I have received from Grace also known as optician extraordinaire at this location was just amazing. After receiving both pairs of my glasses I was told to come back if something didn't feel right. It takes a bit time to adjust to a new pair of glasses especially if those are progressive... Wearing my new glasses in my work space I was not really happy as somehow still some sharpness was missing, which I couldn'treally explain... just at work... So I went back with a picture of my workspace to show Grace and she suggested to get occupational glasses and asked if I would be on board with her idea. I was on board after she explained what would change with occupational glasses. Grace took care of measurements and all an optician has to do. She placed the order called me after 2 weeks that my new pair work glasses would be ready for me. I went to pick up my glasses and right when I put them on and looked towards the computer I realized that these glasses are working wonderful and I really appreciate Grace's idea! So my rating for Grace is a10 out of 10 and Specsavers Coquitlam can be very happy to have her on their team! The optometrist did a great job to figure out my specs and all other team members are very friendly and knowledgeable to, but my main contact was Grace. I can just recommend this store!

I was able to see J.Gandham and she was very helpful! She was so patient and made us feel very safe and comfortable during the test. The staff were so helpful as well with our insurance issues and patient while we had our 1 year old running around.

UPDATE The Dr called us personally and asked us to come back to retest which was expected. However, it still doesn’t fix the owner’s attitude. He needs to understand that people pay to receive proper services and be treated accurately. Original Review I wish there was negative stars to choose. Terrible customer service. They did the whole process of eye exam wrong for my husband and I. Then they gave us wrong prescriptions. We went three different stores and they asked us if we are sure that prescriptions are correct. We went back to the store. The owner (Stephen) was very rude and unprofessional. He even didn’t come to talk with us and see what the problem is. Even when he saw we were given wrong prescriptions he didn’t take any action not even an apology. We asked them to retake the test as we tried test. frames and we felt terrible with the glasses and they are not accepting to retake the test. Now we have prescriptions are not for us, we paid for them, we can’t get any glasses and they just say buy glasses from us, then if the prescription is wrong we fix it. That’s not fair. I was told that I can take the prescription wherever I want. I don’t recommend this store at all!!!!!

I have been to a lot of optometrist and eye centers, and I need to say that this has been a great experience. The staff were very friendly, and the young man who attended me (who's name I cannot recall but I know that it starts with K) was super accommodating and explained everything with details. The manager (who's name is Cherry) was also very accommodating and helpful and helped me get the best price for my budget. Last but not least was the experience with the optometrist. He was very respectful, courteous, and provided excellent care and service. I would definitely recommend Specsavers in Coquitlam centre.

The best shopping experience. I have been researching a lot about the best opticians in town and finally, I found image opticians at Coquitlam city centre. They are the best and offer great service with patience and full attention to customer needs. I would like to give a shout out to Samantha who did a great job in selecting good frames and lenses for us and offered us great rebates on our purchase. I got a pair of glasses from anther store and they just didn’t fit quite right. Came in one day and Grace fixed them up for me within minutes! Feels so much more comfortable on now. Riley was also extremely helpful and answering my questions and put my concerns to rest. Both were super helpful!

We have been seeing Dr. Gandham since my kids were 2 and 6 months and now they are 14 and 11. She is very thorough and detailed, amazing with kids and explains everything well so you understand what is going on. She is very personable getting to know you well and not treating you like just another patient. Let’s put it this way we followed her to this clinic because she’s that awesome! The rest of her staff just as amazing as her! We had Grace one of the opticians and WOW! My kids are the hardest to please when it comes to glasses and she was their favorite. Grace got in there being super cool getting to know their taste and then finding frames they loved! She was super chatty and made us feel like we had been going there for years even though it was our first time at this clinic. Thanks Specsavers Coquitlam for making our regular eye exam a pleasurable experience.

Very friendly staff, everyone was helpful from check in to when I picked up my new glasses. Ava was very helpful and patient during the pre exam and the optometrist was very thorough and helpful in her exam. Kimia was kind and made sure my frames fit perfectly how i wanted them. Just been to Specsavers for the first time. The staff are both friendly and extremely helpful. The service was excellent every step of the way. As for the glasses how can you fault two pairs for the price of one that's a great deal. I will certainly be a returning customer in the future. Why waste your time at other fancy show rooms and fast talking sales personal when you can select from a wide range of current glasses all at the same time receiving exceptional customer service at Specsavers! All purchase options are clearly outlined in their pamphlet with NO hidden costs or extra charges. My wife recently purchased glasses from the 2 for 1 deal and was extremely happy with the service and product provided who recommend I give them a try first before returning to Costco for the “limited” selection and not so knowledgeable staff members.

I first went to Specsavers since it was more convenient for me and closer to my home. I used to obtain my prescription glasses elsewhere, where I could only acquire a pair with my coverage ($300) and had to pay the remainder out of my own pocket. Believe it or not, I could purchase two far nicer glasses from Specsavers. I'm impressed with the product's quality, but much more so with the customer service. You may acquire more costly pairs that are still superior to any other retailer in terms of pricing and style. My most recent Specsavers experience was excellent. Grace, who I believe is the business owner, came in and assisted me with my prescription sunglasses, which I had decided to replace lenses on. She offered to replace the lenses in a darker colour for free, and I was quite impressed with her attitude and customer service.

Went to get glasses for my mom. Brenda was very patient and kind! She didn’t rush us, explained the options we had and made sure we were happy with our selection! Great customer service! Will definitely to there again when it’s my turn to buy glasses!

Just found out a week ago I need to start wearing glasses to drive. SpecSavers Coquitlam Centre was the third place I looked at. Considering this will be my first ever pair of eye glasses the woman who served me (Cherry) made it quick & painless. She listened to what I was looking for & was extremely friendly & helpful. She was also very patient as I know I was being extremely picky. I got a great deal with their current promotion...2 pairs with Ultra Clear & Super Clean for $350. Going forward this will be my go to place for glasses due to the amazing customer service.

I must say that I had the most WONDERFUL experience at Image Optometry. I worked with Hailey to find the best glasses suited to my face. I've been to this location 3 times for prescription glasses, twice for myself and once for my kids. I recently had a previous experience that was not so great, but the staff were amazing and fixed it for me when I went back. Cherry helped me pick out my glasses and helped adjust them when they were ready to pick up. She is so wonderful and really made my experience a great one. Went here for my eye exam and new glasses. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. They told me my glasses would be ready for pick-up in 10 to 14 days, but they were ready in 5 days.
