We ordered vegetable stir fry, upon requesting Basil + ginger, we were denied, we did offer to pay, but it went unheeded! We noticed the rice was a bit raw, and that it had sparse vegetables. On the safety forefront, the cashier kept touching her mask and ended up serving us spoons with the same bare hands. I’m a bit concerned for the patrons. I ended up requesting another pair of cutlery. Anywho, was the food worth it? Worth finding it out for yourself. :)

Ordered the beef and it came pre-breaded, reheated in the deep fryer and then served with some flash sautéed vegetables and rice. It is coated in a pre-bottled sauce, which is sweeter than a candy-cane. I didn’t ask for a refund, but didn’t finish my food. I went to express to the kitchen staff my feelings towards this meal with hopes they might make it better for the next person... that was a mistake, their response was “that’s how we are told to make it” and they walked away and pretended to not hear me. I asked them if they cared to hear about my opinion so that the next time they make the dish it could be better, they said no. Do I recommend this $16 dish? Then I told her scheduling, training, closing,.... She cut me off again, she said really? What about the owner. They dont have most of the items listed in their menu. Add to it when asked if we could make our rice to fried rice, they denied. Is it the staff that ruin the place or the management just doesnt care. I have been to thai express Richmond and every time they provide the best service.

My food was awlful. Does not look like photos at all. Very few veggies and chicken was cold and gross. They get two stars because the lady was kind and offered me something else, but I didn't want to waste another bowl of food. It was pretty disappointing. Expect food court food quality when you order.

Specifically asked if I could have a super spicy red curry and she said yes. when I got my food, the curry was sweet and the rice was under cooked. The curry was bland at best. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I understand that it's food court food but at $14 per serving, they are out to rip us off and give us the bare minimum. AVOID!!! After company response: I did fill out your form simultaneously and you are well aware of it. You have no solution. Your staff basically lied that they were able to make the food super spicy when they only have the pre-made sauce and unable to adjust its spice level. Just tell the truth and let the customer decide. Disgusting business tactics.

I have ordered #6 and asked the server does it come with lettuce( as per picture). He said oh yes lots of lettuce plus you can add some protein. When i got my order it was just the plain rice and fish. I said this is not what i ordered and i asked about it specially before ordering, they started fighting with me. I just left the food even though i already paid for it and walked away. No apology no customer service very disappointing.

In my personal experience, the food tastes just the same as stores back in Toronto. The cashier was friendly and was quick in taking my order. I got the fish pad Thai, which has always been my go to.

I ordered pad thai for lunch and its not the best pad thai that I ever tried. The noodle is just tough and the sauce is too sweet. I will never order from this location ever again...if I want to have a real pad thai I will travel in downtown Vancouver Kitsilano area where they have the best pad thai ever.

Terrible food ! The people that are cooking do not know what their doing Ordered pat thai and pat sew noodles , and watched them cooked It . They barely know how to use a wok. Way too much oil and cooked wrong! Both noodles were oily soupy runny sauce that barely coated the noodles. They need better cooks and training!!! Not Recommended Don’t waste your money there!!!!!

I dont know what happened but this is the worst Thai express I have eaten at. It used to be good but I guess they have gotten lazy. Noe of the veggies were fully cooked, the chicken was tough, not nearly enough sauce, the basil wasnt chopped, and bland as can be. Not going to go to this Thai express again.

Taste: the food is ok. Not authentic Thai, fast food type. Service: I give 1 star. The long orange hair female cashier was very impatient towards us and kept asking me to speak louder even though there was no other customer except us. And I was sure that my voice was not that low... She asked us to select the sizes of the noodles which don't have specifications on the menu. And I asked her what the size differences between two sizes, she replied: the price!....and still didn't give us any answers about the size or the price.... Alright... last visit to that place for sure. Who wants to pay for a bad service and attitude when we have better choices. This is the only Thai Express that serves regular broccoli in their #8 instead of the advertised Chinese broccoli. Not only that, the last time I went there the broccoli tasted rotten, so I had to throw the whole plate out. Honestly the worst Thai Express I've tried...and I have been to a lot of their locations.

The last couple of times ordering from here it hasn't been good. Today I ordered 2 dishes that now cost over $30 together, and they were burned. The rice was black in parts and it smelled burned as soon as I opened the box. The rice was really dry and the strongest flavor was the burned rice. We barely ate any because it was horrible. I wish could get my money back! Won't be going back there.

I'm honestly surprised at the amount of one star reviews - everytime I order here, the food is consistently delicious.

Got there at 5:49pm (closes at 6) and they refused to take my order. Ended up walking to A&W who were happy to take my order. Disappointed in this place...I just got a 11 hour shift from the hospital and wanted my favourite food, but didn’t who when they say close at 6 they really mean 5:45.... Best Thai Express in the lower mainland. The thai shrimp fried rice is always excellent! He also does a 9pcs thai chicken wings that is stir fried with veggies that is awesome. (Hint, it's not on the menu, you can ask for it though)

I have never tried such a bad and dry chicken. I did not eat even half of my meal tasted really bad.

The chicken tastes like it's been in the fridge for 2 weeks. Terrible. Order without meat to be safe. Then the plastic fork they give are so flimsy it will not pick up the vegetables.
