This place and the tools are dirty! Avoid any nail services at Spa Utopia Langley! I go for a pedicure about 1 or 2 times a year (Spa Utopia North Van) and I went in May to the Langley location right before I had a baby. I got toe fungus! It was definitely from Spa Utopia because no one in my family has it and I didn't go to any other spa. I left a message for the spa manager to advise her of the infection and she didn't respond. I will not go back to spa utopia Langley ever. I thought with the price of everything, it would be sanitized amd clean but thay is not the case!

I visit here regularly. For my hair, massage, and to buy make up. James is The Best and the only one I trust with my hair. The whole team is wonderful. The ambiance is Greek-themed and relaxing with lots of eucalyptus. I love their specialty tea. Mmm! Don’t forget to use your Costco membership to get a gift card at 20% off!

Went here for a soothing massage and steam bath after a very long flight. It's pleasant with friendly staff and soothing music piped throughout. You are taken through to the spa area by a guide that shows you around and takes you to the change areas. After that you go to the lounge and have a drink of water, tea, coffee whatever. Then you therapist calls you for your treatment. The massage I had was terrific and while I was offered my choice of wine or juice in the lounge later, I chose the juice. Afterwards you steam and change at your leisure. I like this place but it's expensive. Its starting to look a little tatty around the edges with their Romanesque decor and despite paying handsomely for the experience, you cant help but get the feeling from some of the staff that they are doing you a tremendous favour by seeing you at all. Moving from unctuous to obnoxious. I'll leave it at that.

So worth the royal treatment. Will be there earlier next time, now I know what to expect with finding parking and where. :) I look forward to more visits. The RMT was so good and discussing my concerns really helped the post discussion

Amazing first experience! I went there (37 weeks pregnant and super uncomfortable) for a third trimester full body massage, as well as a pedicure. Staff was very helpful and professional, and made me feel welcomed. It might seem a bit costly but you get your money worth for sure! If you want to be truly pampered, this is so worth it! I had Nicole (RMT), who gave me the best massage I've ever had. She used perfect pressure, worked all the spots I needed and made me feel comfortable- even despite my huge pregnant belly. And Bethany (nail technician) did a fantastic job on my disgusting, and ticklish feet haha. And was very nice to chat with. I definitely recommend both for your services! 😊 I will be back!

I had a great experience today with James. He was careful of sore spots, often asked how the pressure was, and was very helpful in giving tips for further healing. 100% would book with him again in the future! Also the steam room and lounge were very comfortable.

My experience was good and my non-RMT massage was lovely. But I am very annoyed with the policy surrounding gift cards. This is not a place I would normally go to and went because I had a $200 gift card from family. I did not want to end up having to pay money out of pocket for taxes, carbon tax (?!) and tip, so took the lesser treatment to allow for a generous tip and use full card. I was told the $24 balance could not be given to my massage lady for a tip, that I had to either put it towards a future treatment (I wont) , or spend it in the store (didn’t need anything) We were at cactus club the day before with a $100 gift card and were able to give our server her tip using the entire gift card. I have done this at several other places over the years. This policy is BS. There is no legitimate reason why management cannot charge the full treatment of $200 to gift card and give the tip back out of that. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. When I am giving a gift card for service, I do not expect to have to pull out my wallet if the goods and services acquired do not meet the full amount of the gift card.

The Luxury Facial was excellent. Very relaxing and the products were lovely. Also included a scalp massage, and a hand and arm massage. Such a treat. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Had a wonderful experience today with my mom, the luxury pedicures were exactly that- luxurious! The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming, staff are warm & friendly and the special touches of coffees, teas and even a glass of wine with our treatments put the experience over the top!

I had a wonderful visit today. My RMT’s name was Pamela and I highly recommend. I had the signature massage and it was so relaxing. Checked all the boxes. Pamela was gentle yet firm, perfect balance. I found every employee I spoke with kind and welcoming. 5 stars all around. And the glass of wine and wafer treat at the end was very nice touch. Thank you Pamela!

I had the BEST massage I have ever had.. ever with a new massage therapist named Patricia. I have been going for massages for years and have yet to find one that I have walked away feeling so relaxed and had made me actually feel better until now . Her techniques fixed my neck and shoulders and I’m not uncomfortable anymore. I will 100% be going back more often and see her only. Best massage ever!!!

HUGE facility with a bit of a maze-like layout. Customer service and added things like the robes, tea and lounge were nice. My massage unfortunately was a little pricey for a service that didn't do much in terms of relieve tension, in fact it moreso spread the tension around. My bad for not booking an RMT though. Overall a nice spa but I don't think I'll be in any rush to come back.

The masseuse or massage therapists are very professional and know what they are doing. You just need to let them know how you like the pressure to be. My 60 min was what I needed to work on my tight neck/shoulder kinks - they did such a fantastic job. I fell asleep. The high ceilings and the set up of the massage rooms pretty awesome! I will be back more often. I highly recommend; looking for a new spot? Where the therapists are good at what they are doing, just come here.

Great service from start to finish. Rachel checked me in and out. She mentioned that she was training and it was her first week there. She did great and was so lovely. You can tell that Spa Utopia takes great pride in training their employees. I saw Shelby for my hot stone massage. I can’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed. Ended the treatment in the stream room. Have never been disappointed when visiting Spa Utopia. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Recently got my haircut with Kaylee and had such an amazing experience! We chopped a lot off since I had quite long hair and wanted a fresh short length. I am so in love with my hair. She gave me good advice on products to use and brought my vision to life.

Exceptional staff and service. Had an amazing pedicure with Jas who was incredible, meticulous and professional. The hostesses were equally wonderful. Worth every penny. Enjoyed the amenities - what a spa experience should be. My only cons - many loud people and I wish the lounge was more spacious and had more chaise loungers.

It was my first time into the spa and I am speechless, words cannot describe how the service was. Jasmine did such an amazing job not only with the massage but giving direction as to what she was going to do next as well as checking in with me to make sure I was ok. I will definitely be coming back.

My wife forced me to get a massage as she had been here the last time around and she had had a lovely experience. I am glad I agreed and indeed was a relaxing journey. Erin was my masseuse for the swedish massage. She was thorough and covered all the kinks n knots and made me feel at ease throughout. The pressure she applied was apt and released all the tension from the stress areas. The warm towels post each section is an added attraction which makes you feel pampered. My previous sojourns with massages haven't been the same as I tend to be more in pain post the massage. Spa Utopia n Erin especially deserves all the praise for making this episode one to remember for posterity. Kudos!!! Hope to find more time in future to continue this out of the world experience.

Love spa utopia. Is getting alittle outdated & not so professional anymore. Could use a facelift & staff use to be all dolled up. Now not so much. For the prices it should be spectacular!! I will still go but it would be nice to see improvements

While the spa was lovely and my aesthetician, Jas, was kind, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of pedicure I received. The very next day, with normal walking, the gel polish completely chipped off of my big toe and the pedicure was ruined for my vacation; for a $150 pedicure, I expected a far better result and product. I tried contacting the manager through their online portal a week and a half ago in hopes that they would make this right and haven’t received any reply. I’ve had other treatments from Spa Utopia Langley in the past and have come to expect higher quality and service, especially for the price; this experience was very disappointing and leaves me looking elsewhere for my next treatments.

This was the best spa experience I've ever had. Mind you I have very limited experience as well. Anyway, between 3 of us, we had hot stone massage, Postural restoration massage, Facials, pedicures and it was all amazing. My favorite part was definitely just chilling and visiting with my girls in the lounge which was fantastic, drinks and nibbles - adorable. The only thing that could have made it better would be to be able to have enjoyed treatments with my girls so the chatting could have continued. The only treatment we could have together was the pedicure and that was complicated as we were across the hall from each other. Would definitely do again

Love this place! Never had an issue! Not like this new place I tried in chilliwack called European day spa 🙄cancelled short notice 3 times! Once not even calling to inform me of my cancelled appt. An appt I booked work off for! Anyway, never seemed to have an issue here, even during Covid! And I will returning. Worth the drive to be able to count on the appointment and be treated with respect ✊

Patti was amazing. The spa is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are wonderful. What I don't like is the ridiculous prices. The same treatment I received (only because I had a gift certificate) was $100 + more at SU, than at any other spa in the area. I am not talking about nails salons either, spas, with nice atmosphere, robes, etc, etc. I used to be able to come and enjoy this spa, but I won't be coming back.

Services are enjoyable. Very good for a local spa. However, the prices are pretty high for what you get. The lounge could be improved- the lounge chairs are not very comfortable and it feels like an awkward place to wait for services. I’d go to this spa a lot more often if it was more reasonably priced, but it’s good in a pinch!

What a wonderful experience! Spa Utopia is a clean and comfortable establishment. I got a hot stone massage and it was the best I’ve ever had. Nicole, the RMT taking care of me, was caring and a true master of her craft. I will definitely be coming back.

Will never return. Estheticians were friendly enough but front of house staff were not friendly. This place is a money grab. Completely outdated, needs paint, couches are ripped and old in the lounge. Where was the glass of wine at end of service? No offer for a robe or use of amenities, even between services. Sub par. Totally different than my experience at the north van location. Really too bad.

Came in today for a relaxing massage. Came out feeling great! However there are some updates that need to happen. The shower head needs to be replaced, it sprays water all over the place and the new body wash and shampoo isn't the greatest.

Wonderful experience on every occasion. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Such a calm environment and best way to relax. Have had massages with RMT's Kailee and Allan, both are fantastic and highly skilled! Cannot recommend this place enough!

I had a great experience. Very nice facility. Great assortment of drinks for after your massage and even a nice snack of dried fruits and nuts. Very friendly staff. Only downside is there is no dry sauna.

Celiacs beware ... Spa Utopia promises that a 15 minute consultation will be done before the "silk peel" facial, but it did not happen. A hand written form had been completed by me, but the technician did not look at it until part way through the procedure. As a result, I absorbed some Gluten and had the worst reaction to gluten that I've ever had for the next 24 hours. [it was not much fun] I wish that Spa Utopia would educate their technicians re: the need for a consultation especially for those with Celiac disease. Got an RMT massage from Yolanda. She is really good and knowledgeable about injuries and pain. She worked around mine. The place itself is so nice and calm. There is a lounge area too relax and get some nibbles and refreshing drinks or hot beverages. There’s a stream room as well. This location and spa is really good. Totally recommend.

About 2 years ago Nasrin saved me from the most awful haircut experience I ever had (at a different hair salon I was going to in Ladner). She fixed my hair and I was absolutely so impressed by her technique and skill! Her attention to detail is meticulous and much appreciated considering my hair style is in a bob and it needs to look very clean and straight at the back. I have been faithfully going to Nasrin ever since and would highly recommend her services!

Went there with my wife for are anniversary massage . When we got there the wrong day was booked . We came from chilliwack. They were very generous and apologetic about the miss communication that happened. With that customer service , that more then enough for my wife and I too return .

The day after my RMT massage..I felt intense lower back pain and now I'm having to see a doctor and a chiropractor. Update : now having to also attend physiotherapist.

“Utopia” describes it all, it’s in the name. This spa has an ambience that makes your inner calm transpire and you forget about the outside world bc all you feel is inner peace and calmness. From the soothing spa music to the decor to the massage experience. The staff are welcoming and polite. The environment is very clean and the beds are comfortable to give you the best massage experience that makes you want to keep getting massages all the time. Spa utopia is my go to place always and they never fall short of what they offer ie the quality , comfort and overall experience. I’ve been going to spa utopia for many years now and I still do now. Their amenities are amazing and add to the experience ie the sauna, shower and dressing rooms plus healthy snack bar .

I spent the weekend in BC, and this place called me in from the street. Such a warm cosy, peaceful vibe. The girls at the front were so sweet I scheduled an appt for the next morning. I was looking forward to my massage. Anyway, my Massage was AMAZING, and I enjoyed the snack they brought out afterwards.

It's expensive but it's worth it, best spa I've ever been to. The service is great and the massage therapists are very good at what they do. Atmosphere is very relaxing it's the perfect place to go unwind.

I had a 90-minute massage, which was phenomenal. It was comfortable, relaxing and everything I wanted. I thought it would be weird that they would use gloves, but they were such good quality, and they were so talented I couldn’t tell the difference. They are open - go!

I love this place! It’s so tranquil, and they offer great massages. I’ve had the hot stone, four-handed and deep tissue. They’re all fantastic, but the hot stone is my favourite.I am looking forward to my next visit!

Staff are great. Went for a massage, it was fantastic. Parking lot is horrible. Someone smashed my car with theirs. Pretty sure it was a staffer, or friend of one. My locker was rummaged through and not left how I had out things. Locker code was changed as well. Don't leave anything valuable in the locker.

Update: We are updating this review to thank Christina, the Spa Coordinator, for finding us a spot the next day. We received excellent service at the spa and we thoroughly enjoyed our massages. Great massage therapists. We've been waiting for these massage appointments for a month. We booked four weeks ago specifically for this week because my mom is on vacation and we could go in together. We both have really sore backs and have been waiting and looking forward to these appointments eagerly. They confirmed last night that we were good to go, but surprise, they called this morning and cancelled! And guess what? Now we have to wait ANOTHER 4 WEEKS before they can fit us in. WHAT A JOKE! The person who called wasn't even apologetic. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE. We've already been waiting for a month, and now we have to wait another month? The only reason we're even keeping the appointments is because we've got gift cards. But after that we will never be returning to Spa Utopia. They are overpriced, and have dealt with this situation poorly. We are extremely disappointed.

The Spa Utopia Salon is a wonderful experience! I feel welcome the moment I walk in the door and the grandness of it all (not your regular hair salon) really makes it feel like sweet respite from the daily grind. I've trusted Carmen Krueger with my hair for the last three or four years. I appreciate her suggestions, friendly nature, and master stylist skills. If you are looking for a stylist that you can trust who is a lovely person I definitely recommend Carmen. The snacks, beverages, amazing scalp massages and complimentary make up touch ups are great too.

For an expensive gel manicure I would expect a much better nail polish selection. I was disappointed in the outdated and boring colour selection.

I went to the Langley Location for the Lavender wrap. I had the most fantastic experience and have not felt that relaxed in years! I highly recommend Patty, she is just the nicest person and really knows her stuff. My skin feels amazing and they use top quality products. I will be back!

I have Harrington rods in my spine due to scoliosis. I suffer from a great amount of back pain. For years I was resistant to treatment as I feared people touching my back. This changed when I found Pamela RMT at Spa Utopia Langley. She is so good at what she does not only is she a skilled RMT but she is a beautiful person, making me feel safe in her hands. This past February I had another major surgery I had a right neck dissection and bone transplant using my right scapula. I just saw Pamela For the first time since this surgery a few weeks ago, again she knew exactly how to treat me. I have 100% trust in her. I have had other massages but she is the best! Bonus you can use the eucalyptus steam room and lounge before and after your treatment.

Bad experience. I went to Langley location for my hair color and was disappointed. Please do not go there as I was totally disappointed.

I was visiting from out of town and was able to get a massage with Laurel and when I arrived the front desk were able to sneak me in for a haircut with Carmen. Both ladies were amazing. I even asked Carmen to finish my cut earlier than the time allotted (which is an annoying request I know, sorry Carmen), and she was able to do so with plenty of time to spare. The facility hasn't changed in the decade that I have been a patron, but it is still so peaceful, spacious and clean. The representative that mans the facility is also awesome and deserves a pat on the back. And lastly, the rooibos tea is always my favorite. Thank you Laurel, Pamela and Carmen.

Amazing Experience. I had an appointment with Shell for my hair- She is a master designer and is amazing at what she does, I had previously told her what i wanted to do with my hair and showed her an idea and she made it look even better then i could imagine. I was greeted by Kirby she was very polite and asked if i needed a beverage or anything... Shell was very polite, helpful, professional and she has the most knowledge in hair and it was the best experience. I would never go anywhere else and from now on in the future Shell will be the only person who touches my hair in the future. I am so in love and happy with how my hair looks now and how amazing it makes me feel, The colours are so beautiful and great length. She made it feel and look so healthy and beautiful. AMAZING JOB SHELL! I would recommend anyone to Shell- she is so amazing. Cant wait to go back

I go for regular massages with Ashley. She is trained in multiple disciplines and always customizes my treatment to my ache(s) of the week. She has a lot of experience with sports injuries as well, so often incorporates relaxation with rehabilitation.

Wonderful first experience. I booked a Full Body Swedish massage for my mother and I and both massage therapists were extremely friendly and welcoming, and were great at their jobs. We could hear them washing their hands throughout the service, which is important during these uncertain times. I unfortunately have forgotten their names but I hope you can find them through the reservation under my name for 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 15th and pass our compliments to them.

I had an amazing hair cut and colour today with Amanda - top notch service from start to finish and very thorough on COVID safety. Everyone was so welcoming, professional and offering service and assistance at every turn. Amanda is amazing and I would recommend her highly - I love my new hair cut and colour and feel like a new person! I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I were extremely happy with our service. We both had a 75min Swedish massage and it was the most amazing massage we have ever had. Raj was my masseuse, and she was incredible. Shoulders, back, legs, feet, arms, hands, head… I can’t decide which was my favorite part. My husband had Geo and he said Geo was really impressive and made his shoulder aches disappear. Thank you both for an amazing experience in a palatial environment.

I had the signature massage by a gentleman named Geo over the winter break . It was the best massage I have ever had. He was professional and made me feel comfortable. He constantly made sure that his pressure was adequate. It was firm but it did not hurt. He worked out some knots in my back that other RMT's could not get rid of. Overall, I was very satisfied and relaxed. I will be back to visit him. Thanks Geo :)
