This place needs a better system for booking times. When you book a time you will show up to a giant line up of people standing outside in the cold. The online reservation isnā€™t for an appointment itā€™s for a spot to wait. Completely useless. You know how long it takes for tests by now so why have it this way? If hairdressers can set proper appointments then so can you. I took a photo of the 30 plus people standing in the rain waiting but it wonā€™t let me post it. My wife is supposed to be staying warm with the procedure she just had done and now she has to stand in the cold and wet for hours?! What a joke! From reading your past reviews I see this has been a problem for awhile. Maybe address it and make some changes like other businesses. Oh thatā€™s right youā€™re government so donā€™t have to worry about staying in business like the rest of us. This isnā€™t for the people that work here. Itā€™s not their fault. Itā€™s the people making the decision for how itā€™s run. Get it together.

Was told through the app I could use the getcheckedonline barcode at this location. The receptionist told me this was incorrect. Totally understandable. But instead of listening to me when I told her that the app was incorrect then and they should look into it, she continued to argue and talk down to me. Will definitely not revisit this location.

This is walk-in only. So when LifeLabs had some issues with their online appointment system, I decided to try their walk-in. I arrived at 7:20am on Saturday and walked out at 8:40am. Not bad for Saturday. Their staff is really efficient and communicate things clearly, but people donā€™t always follow their instructions. So if you decide to come, follow their instructions. When you first arrive, join the check in line on the right side of the door, if there is any. Once they check you in (just to get your name in the wait list), you will have to wait in the other line on the left side if there is no chair available inside. Donā€™t block the entrance door. If there is a chair inside, you can seat until they call your name to verify your information and the tests that you need to do. You will have to seat again until they call your name with the room no where you will get your blood test. The one who took mine, Tida, was very good and friendly. She also provided me with the label, so that I can see my result online. If you follow their instructions, you will walk out from this lab with no issues. Just be patience and wear proper clothes for the winter for just in case you need to stand in-line outside. If you donā€™t want to wait, book your appointment online at the other LifeLabs locations. Another plus: easy to find and lots of parking space

I admit I was nervous as the receptionist at the first booth inside the door curt and uncaring. I will chalk that up to "We all have an off day " Chris Registered me. Asked me to go to seat four. She was quick, friendly and extremely professional. Could not ask for better then this lady. She then prepared a the room for my ECG and again very professional and kind. Thank you Chris you are a Rare Gem.

Really bad experience. Iā€™be been seeing a few doctors and brought 4 Lifelabs requisitions with me. They couldnā€™t stop complaining. I have health issues and they complained all the time about the amount of work they had to do, in front of me like I wasnā€™t there. After the third time I still tried to be nice and said ā€œIā€™m sorry, Iā€™ve been seeing a lot of doctorsā€. They didnā€™t even acknowledge what I said. After I left the booth I was sitting right in front of it and again they continued complaining. And It was all initiated by the manager there. Way to set the tone with the other ones. No manners. I only hope that Karma is real. Replace these ladies working here. Langley deserves better. A lot of good kind people out there wanting work and that deserve better.

COMPLETE GONG SHOW! You are standing outside to check-in, then after you check-in, you go back outside and stand in line; then the woman runs around outside shouting out people's names (embarrassing) asking for scheduled appointments which then jump the long queue and this so-called "hold a spot" and those people just ended up in the long queue too. Once you are inside, it is chaos. It's like a fast-food restaurant on a roller-coaster ride. At least at McDonald's you get your meal in 10 minutes or less. LifeLabs is an inefficient, stressful business to deal with. All I could think of is I want to get the **** out of there!! It took a full hour of watching this gong show before I was able to get the service I showed up to have in the first place! And the fastest part of the process was taking my blood which took less than 60 seconds, but I had to go through their meat-grinder of a process for a 60 seconds withdrawal of blood! BONG!

I found the women working there friendly, helpful and efficient. I don't think they get enough credit for all the hard work they are doing. Especially under these trying covid 19 conditions. I, for one, would like to say 'thank you' to all of them.

Advice: put someone who isnā€™t completely miserable & doesnā€™t hate their life in the first booth as the first contact for patients entering this lab. I fully understand that itā€™s a difficult job to deal with so many dense ppl day in and day out, but dear god I avoid this location as much as possible because of the super grumpy and rude employees there. Their Covid set-up is also horrible: only 2 ppl can wait in the line-up inside before everyone else is forced to wait outside in the rain and cold. This would be fine if this was CLEARLY indicated on a sign when you first walk-in, but you are expected to be a mind-reader and know this automatically when you first enter. If you are the third person waiting in line inside, be ready to literally get yelled at rudely by the N*zi at the first booth to ā€œwait outside!ā€. If this is SO critical that youā€™re going to YELL at ppl walking in, why donā€™t you have a CLEAR sign saying ā€œno more than 2 ppl waiting inside in line-up pleaseā€. Use your brain.

The staff here is so friendly and efficient despite how busy it gets. Aneesa took my blood and did an amazing job! She was so kind, patient and professional as was everyone else who was there today.

The line is always long here, weekday or weekend. Staff are probably always exhausted and not nice but they'll get the job done. This place doesn't take appointments.

The lady at the in-take desk was super efficient and very friendly. Please remember, this location is for walk-in only. I strongly suggest you to check the wait time at this location on its website before your visit. If you can, try to avoid Sunday, or between 7am-9am during the weekdays. These are the busiest periods in my experience. The lab is located in a strip mall with lots parking stalls. Bus stops nearby.

I had to come in for a test. On the phone, asking about requisition information, a super nice lady talked me through it. She made my day and had such a positive tone. I believe her name was Sheista? Probably spelled wrong but regardless, what a wonderful person. Unfortunately, when I physically came in, the woman up front had a sour tone, not really that kind in the slightest and no manners. Hard to feel welcomed around that type of attitude. Wished it couldā€™ve gone better but overall got the job done.

Friendly staff every time I have ever come and the place is well lit. Comfortable seating. The only criticism I have is that people play their shows on the phone really loud and that should be dealt with but other than that it's always a great experience.

My spouse and I visited this laboratory on Dec 1. The behavior and treatment of all the staff were very respectful and friendly. The person who took my blood guided me with patience, and there was excellent calmness in this center.

Fast and efficient. All staff are helpful, especially the Medtech, except that girl receptionist on the first window on duty November 28, 2023 at 11:20 am. She's rude...#Lifelabs management

paid over $500 for NIPT test, the results has not been received for over 2 week, even though our doctor made a mistake, it takes forever with lifelabs to figure out the results. they charge crazy money and not responsive

half the time the appt system doesn t work, you cannot even get a person to answer the phone - even though you are pressing 5 for customer information - there isn't much good about this system at all except for all the hackers!!

Visit this location twice. Single check-in turns into two check-in. Staffs are always busy correcting records on computer. I would avoid this location in future.

The staff is incredibly kind, efficient and friendly every time I've been to this location. So happy and thankful that my experience was pleasant last week - the team working on Friday morning was awesome!

Very friendly staff. Though I arrived 10 minutes before closing, no complaints and no rushing. Quite surprised by their service. Really Awesome Team work. Keep up your good work and thanks for accepting walk ins.

I went there yesterday for the first time, I'm sure, of many. I had no appointment, so I was a "walk-in". Mt standing appointment card had expired last month, July of 2021, but they were so kind to ignore that fact. The counter tech sent me immediately to chair 4, where I waited for about 15 minutes. Sitting, not standing in the summer heat outside. The tech drew two full vials of blood, and I was back with my ride in another 10 minutes. I go to Lifelabs from choice, and have never had a problem. The techs who work there were very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I give this branch 5 stars out of 5. Thank you all for the great treatment I received there yesterday

The business hours on Google map are completely different from those posted at the door. If you modify the time, please update Google map and don't let people come to see a doctor in vain.

This location has become EXTREMELY busy since the Douglas location changed to appointments-only. Came to drop off time-sensitive specimen containers for a family member who cannot go themselves, and could not make an appointment as the specimen timing was unpredictable. It was very uncomfortable. People in the lineup were yelling at each other outside in the cold, and two lines had formed, so it was unclear what to do when arriving. It did not feel safe, especially having to go in with a small child. We left and went across town to a different location instead even though it meant going considerably farther. It is particularly unfortunate for the employees who are forced to work in such an overrun, high-stress environment each day.

This is the largest non-appointment laboratory in Langley, with a large number of staff and well-managed management. There are a lot of parking lots outside, and most of the people in the line are outside. It's a bit cold in winter, but the air is good.

I find this lab to be the best one in the area compared to others. Most labs have been chaos since Covid but the staff here are organized, efficient, and friendly. I never have much of a wait.

I just waited 2 hours by as a walk in and they removed me from my spot for a blood test. The worst service I have seen from this location. Its a pendamic while walk in is already difficult but making someone wait 2 hours and then saying sorry we have to put u on the list all again which shows more then another 1 hour wait. Do u really think someone has 4 hours in a day to just sit around for a blood test. Seriously disappointed

All ladies working at this location are extremely hardworking and polite. They always remain calm despite working under so much pressure. Really really really thank u for your help. And just a suggestion for people who visit them, please be patience

From what I observed today, every single staff member at this facility showed nothing but compassion, patience, and kindness towards myself and the other patients, even in spite of the facility being extremely busy. The staff seemed to have a very strong sense of teamwork. With that said, out of all the lifelabs I've been to, I would say this location is by far the best. Thank you!!
