While
picking
up
my
order
I
wanted
to
return
2
items
I
had
purchased
previously
online
as
gifts.
The
Items
were
2
Yukon
Gear
hunting
jackets
that
had
been
greatly
reduced
in
price.
The
jackets
were
never
worn
and
still
had
all
the
tags
on
them
and
I
had
the
original
bill.
We
were
advised
by
the
manager
that
as
per
store
policy
we
could
not
return
them
because
of
covid
19
rules.
I
advised
the
manager
that
we
were
not
told
this
when
we
picked
them
up
(from
a
different
store)
and
this
is
contrary
to
the
return
policy
on
the
bill.
He
stated
he
was
sorry
but
they
could
not
take
back
items
such
as
the
jackets
or
masks
or
pillows
that
someone
had
slept
on.
I
advised
I
could
understand
the
masks
and
used
pillows
not
being
returned
but
2
new
jackets
were
not
the
same
thing.
The
manager
stated
that
if
they
took
the
items
back
they
would
be
thrown
out
for
safety
reasons
and
explained
it
was
their
store
policy
and
we
should
take
them
back
to
the
store
we
picked
them
up
at.
The
jackets
were
picked
up
from
a
store
in
Victoria
and
we
were
now
in
Surrey.
We
continued
to
discuss
this
with
the
manager
for
over
10
minutes
and
he
would
not
budge.
He
advised
it
was
the
store
owners
policy
and
it
could
not
be
altered.
We
asked
to
speak
to
the
store
owner
and
advised
this
was
not
possible.
After
a
very
frustrating
time
at
the
front
desk
I
requested
that
my
2
jackets
be
returned
to
me
and
that
I
would
be
writing
a
very
unpleasant
review
of
this
store.
The
manager
then
said
perhaps
he
could
call
someone.
After
several
more
minutes
the
manager
returned
to
us
and
stated
he
would
refund
our
money.
He
went
on
to
say
that
in
his
opinion
the
jackets
were
not
used
and
that
some
customers
use
clothing
items
and
then
try
to
return
them.
I
suggested
that
Canadian
Tire
should
deal
with
those
individuals
and
not
have
a
blanket
policy
that
alienates
honest
customers.
We
left
with
our
money
returned
but
very
unhappy
with
our
treatment.
