My child has played for this club for 3+ years, things were good for the first couple years but have really declined lately. He is on a development team that receives very very minimal staff lead training and instead primarily depend on volunteer coaches that aren't certified nor do they appear to recieve training & aren't well versed with the sport. I myself along with many other parents are discussing the option of removing our children from this club if there isn't any positive change.

Waiting to hear back from Registrar after team allocations went wild. Poor coaching by untrained volunteers is a big problem in the GAC. Specially when it comes to young children, they must enjoy the game. If that is not happening due to a coach, that is a sad story and going to have a strong effect in the child's sports career. Registrar usually gives you two options 1. Take your money and leave (after deducting 50CAD admin fee, what a penalty) 2. Stay and play on the allocated team. --- Its a very rigid and unfriendly policy. As parents, there are many good fellows in this Club. However, Its sad to see their standards are going on the down hill day after day. If someone want to start a new club, I am in.

Reasonable soccer program for kids. Instruction for some of the younger ages could be better, but rely heavily on parents and volunteers. So still pretty good

The location and facilities are very good.... I'm not at liberty to discuss the coaching credentials of volunteer coaches but Guildford Athletic is not the only soccer club there...North Surrey Football Club is also there and they are a young, ambitious club with excellent coaches and they train on those fields as well.... there are alternative options available at the same location....who knows it might be a fit....

I like having a take out lunch here and it is close to work. Peaceful, quiet and watching soccer or practice is entertaining

My kids have been playing with the Guildford Athletic Club for the last 10 years and I have coached 2 teams for the last 8 years with this club. This is a great soccer club with amazing technical staff. Would recommend this club to players of all ages.

Fantastic value for what you pay. I couldn’t be happier with the service I get for my two children. I would recommend this to any family as the first choice for youth soccer players in the area!

The club has done a great job of altering programing on the fly to keep my girls playing safely during covid. If you are looking for a smaller club where the staff know all the players names and they truly care about player development and pathway this is your club!

Good neighborhood park to relax and chill

The woman that runs this club is the RUDEST woman I have ever encountered. How she has gotten through life talking to people the way she does is beyond me. All 3 of my kids have played here and all of a sudden this year they made a huge mess of the teams , my almost 9 year old is on a team with 6 year olds who are brand new to soccer yet she insisted she’s not. It’s an absolute joke. They rely on parents to coach the teams and bully them into doing it even though they have no experience in doing so. I honestly am not really sure what we pay for here. After almost 10 years here I think this will be our last season with this club.

Great club my son has played here for almost 4 years. Great staff coaches and top notch field.

My daughter plays for GAC, the coaches are amazing and they completely empower the girls. My daughter has gained so much confidence playing on this team.
