😠 I bought a box of 6 croissants yesterday, the date was still good as we were Oct 10th but when I open the box at home 3 out of the 6 had mold on them! It's disgusting!!! How a groceries store can sell molded food!! I'm French and in my entire life I never see mold on croissant! They get hard and not...     I bought a box of 6 croissants yesterday, the date was still good as we were Oct 10th but when I open the box at home 3 out of the 6 had mold on them! It's disgusting!!! People check carefully your items before buying them at this place!!!

    1 star only for the person who answered the phone to tell me there were two of the products I inquired about, a certain kind of compact freezer, after they went to check and made me wait for 15 minutes, so I could save the time driving all the way there from Metrotown and not find out it was not in stock. After I got on the highway all the way over and checked the spot, there only two black compact refrigerators. I called the customer service line and explained what happened, and the lady (different one) paged someone to come help me. But no one came so went to the Customer Servicr Desk and asked the same lady. She said “no one came? I am so sorry! And then checked my request and told me the one I wanted was only available online. We both then realized that the other Customer Service lady must have thought “refrigerator, freezer, what’s the big difference?” Or did not check carefully. It if was not for the second customer service lady, this would have still been a one star review.

    There are never shopping baskets available, carts require a coin to use so if you are not carrying any, you can only buy the few items you can carry around in your hands. Simply ridiculous. Basic items are usually out of stock.

    This store is way too small to sustain the amount of people currently living in our area; & there are 1000’s of others that are currently moving into nearby towers. They are constantly out of product or restocking due to high demand. Definitely one of the worst Walmarts in the province.

    I went in looking for butane the website listed as $11.98 the retail price in the store was $14.98 The cashier said "we don't price match" Now your company makes billions of dollars a year, all that I'm asking for is approximately $3 off the cost the website versus the store. You guys suck. Where is the customer service where is the happy to help you cashier that will make it work? I'm so sick of rude cashiers and people that work at your store and Canadian Tire and Tim Hortons and all the places that used to be good. You guys suck. I will give you negative 5 Stars

    This Walmart has gone downhill fast. You’d think with the other grocery store Independent closed since January they’d up their game, buuuuut NO! I went today (Monday) not a buggy inside and outside. I walked from one end to the other in hopes of finding a basket….NONE… I went to self checkout to find a lonely one and I snatched it quick as other customers were on the hunt. It’s turned into a very dirty store, shelves empty and produce looks like they could use some water. I won’t even go into the meat department as that’s scary in its self. It’s a shame really cause it’s in a prime location. I hope that they change management cause I’d be ashamed of myself if I let a store look like that. I’ll make the trip to Superstore where it’s clean & staff look like they enjoy their job. Good luck Walmart!

    I went to this store many times, but most of the time their employees are so rude. They always put the items in the wrong spot with the wrong price, then when I went to the cashier, at first they don’t believe that I saw the price which is different from what she use, then when I showed her, they say that people change the items spot. The funny thing is there are so many of the same item that all of them were moved by people 😂. And at the end they say it is what it is. But as far as I know in this situation they have to accept their fault and give me one item for free and the rest with the price that I saw, which I just asked them to use the price that They put under the item. Their behavior are so disrespectful and since now I prefer not to go there anymore.

    Good for a walmart location, a bit odd seeing some shelves empty, but overall had everything we needed. Undortunately, I went for some camping gear but a lot of them were out of stock and this locations selection of outdoor gear was considerably limited. Understandable as it is located in a mall. Their selection of clothes are expansive but I think it's a bit too much focus on the clothes. I think their foods selections can be better. Also, fyi, darn cheap desserts and pastry prices. Would recommend for cheap snacks!

    Closing the only in person staffed check out line to facilitate a break ? Fine. Yet here’s a tip - stop the line of 20 people from forming where you wish this to occur. Not just walk up mid line and arbitrarily say you all need to fall in back into the already backed up self checkout line? Because only one person was monitoring the ‘half’ opened number of self checkouts. We said no to the request of falling into the back of line after waiting 20 minutes….. Typically this is always next customer to the next available cashier? Not at Wal-Mart. Anyways, we seemed to circumvent the break by saying it was unfair - yet This makes no sense either way. Zero management, Not fair to staff or customers. Please help your staff be able to do their job. Not their fault. Support self check out or not - Not what this is about.

    Apparently, now when you shop in the cosmetics department, you need to pay there before taking your items into the rest of walmart. YOU CAN NOT pay for them at self checkout or through a regular checkout anymore. Plus to top off this super inconvenient policy they dont have bags so they make you walk over to self checkout to stand in line there to purchase one then walk back over to cosmetics to pay for your purchase there. So if you are planning to shop for groceries too, beware of this HUGE inconvenience! I'd rather pay more for convenience so I wont be shopping here again!

    Christmas clearance items in the photos below, advertised from $2.75. When I got to the self checkout one of the items rang up as $10.97. This wouldn't be a problem if they were marked on the sales floor or the items were marked as everything was a huge mixed mess. The CSM that I spoke with said I was wrong and the pricing was correct and this is how wal mart corporate likes to advertise items and that the store has no control or say. She than explained to me they have price checking machines put randomly throughout the store. I don't understand how as a customer it's my job to go seek out the pricing when nothing is clearly stated on the item itself or the display. Maybe price your items correctly for your customers. I was treated poorly over a price difference of $8.22. The correct thing to do would have been to price the item at $2.75 for me and have someone fix the display. Not argue with a customer that shops regularly over the last 20 years in your stores and has usually had a normal experience. This whole ordeal took 10 minutes.

    they have the self check outs but ppl are not trained on how they work so when you think something went scanded they think you steeling maybe bring back real people to do the job i shouldnt have to show my receaced

    If you guys are going to force us all into the self serve checkouts: Have a system set up where customers can see what stations open up (screen showing open stations) or at least a dedicated employee to inform ppl when one opens up. Countless times I’ve been at this location where half the ppl in line don’t realize self check outs open up.

    Just wanted to share our wonderful experience at Walmart Austin avenue store today. We could not find the product that we liked online and Mr. David from the electronics department came to our rescue. He was so nice and helped us find our product and also offered to bring it to our car. Thank you so much David you were so humble and your support was exceptional. Thank you Walmart for this amazing experience.

    A couple of products have been out of stock for years. Moreover, yesterday I opened a box of ice creams and they looked like they melted and were frozen again. Sad, considering children had them, before I was able to realize that.

    If you’re applying for Walmart Mastercard at the store, double check that the customer rep entered your details correctly. They entered mine incorrectly and my credit card application got rejected because of that. I forgot to ask them to review my application details, but they also didn’t offer that. I believe they should have asked the customer to review their details and confirm that everything is correct. Hope the staff will get better training in the future!

    I bought an electric razor the other day, charged it and found out it does not work. I understand that it’s final sale but I was told I can exchange it for a new one. However, even when I asked for assistance I still waited about 15-20min and no one came. So thank you for wasting my time and taking my money.

    Walmart is always so so but tonight we were helped out at customer service by a super lovely, cheerful associate (Natalie). She made me glad I shopped at Walmart. I just wanted to give her a shout out for being friendly in retail (with difficult customers, it’s often hard to be positive). Great experience. I hope Walmart works to keep more employees like her.

    Terrible customer service. Called and asked if a product was in stock. CS rep said yes; their system was showing that they had 80 pcs of it. I asked if they could get a human to check with their own eyes if that's true because I needed to buy in bulk. They insisted that the count was correct. Ok then. I showed up a few hours later to find nothing on the shelves. I asked the CS manager about the product, and after he checked over the radio, he confirmed that they were out. I expressed my dissatisfaction at their wasting of customers' time, and instead of the courtesy of at least promising to do better, the manager blamed me for not asking the rep to put a hold on the product before coming to pick it up and for not getting the rep's name over the phone. Hello. If I have to treat your reps like I'm interviewing suspects every time I need something over the phone, something is definitely wrong with the way you manage your staff. Friends, be warned.

    Another review on *Nov 29, 11:30 am* The customer service manager, Sayd, lacks empathy and customer service skills. I was here to purchase an area rug which was showing a different price online, however the price was showing different at the checkout counter. When i seeked help from the cx service manager, Sayd, it showed different on his scanning device. The product was same, with difference in pricing, and i was okay to cancel the product at the store,and order online. The manager, Sayd, started arguing to prove his point that the price shows up on his device is the correct and what i see online is wrong. I understand at times walmart system takes time to update the pricing, and there must have been discrepencies in pricing on different channels for that product, but what I expect is a good customer service and a polite communication. Sayd clearly lacks empathy, patience, courtsey, good communication, and is an aggressive speaker. He definitely seem to be not open for any feedback, and lacks listening skills. Previous review on *Date Oct 23, 9:00 pm pst* The pharmacist who was avaialble at walmart pharmacy at 9:00 pm pst, Oct 23, lacks customer service and patience. I was there with my 2 years old toddler, and was seeking her advise on the medicines. She was making faces, was pissed and staring at my 2 yo son just bcz he was over simulated and screaming at that time. As a front line employee in healthcare, i appreciate if she could have patient, empathy and cx service. She was the main pharmacist with a support pharmacist. The support pharmacist was good though, and helpful.

    Given the location and the large number of customers due to being next to the mall, the store has a lot of visitors. However, it is still well organized and is running smoothly, thanks to the hard working staff and management. Thanks!

    Customer service rude and obnoxious. Treating reg. Customer like dirt due to losing a receipt & wanting to return outdoor unopened garbage bags. So I have this feeling of not wanting to offer even a smile to Walmart employees in future. Lowering myself to their level? Bad taste. Maybe their culture finds this acceptable?

    Today. I called the customer service at 909am. Whoever she is did not want to to her job by checking which store has it. She did not even want to give me her name so that I can give a good report or feedback about Walmart's customer service. Anyways just want to let u know that the customer service hates her job by not giving customer service. If you hate your job just quit or fire her. Lol

    I am writing this review on the experience I had as someone on vacation and just wanted to shop to get a few things for my children for the air bnb we’re staying at.. yesterday I had grabbed bread and as I was paying for it I grabbed a part where I noticed there was a whole I then I proceeded to tell a worker and she didn’t seem concerned 2 of the workers I had told didn’t seem concerned and after I had grabbed and I smelt my hand it wreaked of mice or rats the worker took forever to get me hand sanitizer and again acting like it wasn’t a problem still offering me bread after finding the bread I found! It was by far the worse experience I had…

    It always has everything I need: well-stocked seasonal dept, great kids clothes, reasonable price on steel toes in a pinch. The door from lougheed mall is supposed to be opened at 10 am and here is a disaster by not opening the door on time

    I went to the electronic department and I was helped by a young man named Ryan. I cannot believe how patient he was with me and he put in an incredible amount of effort to help me with my new phone. On many occasions I have witnessed him be the exact same way with several other customers. It’s seems as if everyone that walked by knew him by name because of how helpful he has been with them. He is such a wonderful person. Thank you SO much for your help Ryan!
