I came here with my friend and our two daughters for dinner. We ordered the Margherita and Truffle pizza. Both were delicious and girls really enjoyed them. The Buffala salad was really fresh and nice. We also had the vegetarian pesto and Manila clams pasta. We all really enjoyed the pesto dish. The clams was okay but not our preference. For dessert we had the Panna Cotta and Pistachio Gelato. Let me tell you those desserts were so good. Our server was really kind and attentive and we really enjoyed her service. The washroom was clean and bright. I really enjoyed our time here and will return again, thank you.

a delightful place with one side being cozy and relaxing, and the other side more modern and bright. Manrico is a magnificent chef, each course was truly delicious. Now I truly understand how good hand-made pasta can be. The tiramisu was light, creamy with a strong coffee flavour that was an excellent finish to a marvelous dinner. Combine this with friendly and very professional wait staff, it made for a memorable anniversary dinner for us.

We found out this restaurant by Google around Burnaby area for Italian restaurant. Found out it's really authentic Italian food. The presentation and the taste it's really good feel like homemade Italian food. The food not over powering but not weak as well.

The restaurant was really clean, and staff were attentive. We ordered Pappardelle (with sausage) and Linguine di Mare (seafood pasta). Both were good. Not as spectacular as the pasta at two of our favorite Italian restaurants, so I am only giving it 4 stars. But definitely will come back to try out other items on their menu.

My friends and I came here one evening as we had been waiting to try this new spot in the neighbourhood. There is parking in the back and what appears to be a patio section too (of course, weather pending). I thought it was a smaller restaurant but when you walk inside there is quite a lot of seating which is nice. There was only one other table inside for dinner time when we went and two servers. Between the four of us we had ordered meatballs and a pasta each but it left us feeling unsatisfied food wise for the price point and slightly bothered by the customer service as it seemed like they were adamant to rush us out (we were there at 6 and nowhere near closing time). The meatballs felt pricey at $18 and nothing overly special. The pastas overall range $18 (cacio e pepe) to $28 (linguini di mare) but felt like a higher price point for no particularly special deliverance. Ordered the caserecce, papardelle, linguini, and calamarata - we all tried parts of each other’s dishes and still felt soso for our meal. The severs kept checking in on us (food is fine but it wasn’t enough to send anything back by any means) but it was to the point of “can I bring the check” and scoot us out over and over. We had not overstayed our time either (definitely within dining time of 1.5 hours and again - not busy). Maybe it was just an off night but it didn’t leave us with a happy memory.

Start to finish was a unforgettable meal experience. 8 dishes between 2 people at a Italian restaurant and left feeling like we ate the perfect amount. Waiter is a class act too. Would recommend to anyone and everyone who appreciates food cooked with love

We came across this lovely Italian restaurant after trekking at Burnaby Mountain. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, providing us a relax atmosphere to chat and rest. Love the Peach Sangria recommended by the server, the taste was mild and refreshing but not sour. I like my Spaghetti Vongole, the clams were fresh and the spaghetti was tender and chewy, which is the texture I like. Andy friends all love their food, just want to thanks the chef and staffs over there, good job guys.

Excellent service, delicious food and perfect atmosphere for dating. If looking for a semi casual dinning restaurant, this is highly recommended. Their pasta is perfectly cooked and extremely well blended. Update: We went again trying to order their Tris de Mere but unfortunately their menu have changed. However, the quality of each dishes didn't disappoint us. We love all the dishes and their dessert.

The overall atmosphere was great. The food tasted authentic. We visited on a Monday for lunch. The service was great. Our waitperson was very interactive and helpful. Would recommend this place. It's right by the R5 (to burrard) bus stop, making it convenient.

Delicious meal and personally greeted by the chief, how more authentic can you get. We celebrating Christmas dinner with our team and really enjoyed every meal that came out. I ordered the Gnocchi and my husband had the steak. The side potato’s were the best we’ve ever tasted. Well done. I wasn’t a huge fan of the tiramisu and the drink service was a little slow but overall a great restaurant.

Celebrated a milestone at La Forchetta in North Burnaby, and it was exceptional. The staff's attention to detail and their genuine desire to make our celebration memorable were truly commendable. The thin, crispy pizza dough and fresh pasta were highlights. Despite a few menu items being unavailable, the overall food quality surpassed expectations. The quiet Tuesday evening enhanced the pleasant experience, with attentive and prompt service. The dessert, arriving on a plate that read "Congratulations" showcased a considerate touch that elevated the moment. I am genuinely grateful that I chose La Forchetta for my celebration dinner with my nana. The overall service, food, and extra special touches made it a memorable dining experience which exceeded my expectations.

Vittorio was our server and gave us an amazing experience. . It was my partners 66th birthday, and we couldn’t have picked a better restaurant and server to enjoy my special evening. The food, the atmosphere, and especially his charming and wonderful demeanour gave us an experience to remember for a lifetime. Thanks 🙏🏻 Victory ( Vittorio ) for the great evening!

Very nice. I would give 4.5 stars, Everything is good , they have their parking area but limited parkings spots make sure you go there earlier to seek for a parking. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Had my cousin's 60th birthday yesterday at the restaurant. None of us had ever been to the restaurant but chose it by it's website, menu, reviews, location and it could seat us all together . We had a great time and food was very fresh. We were a large group of 18 people with kids, teenagers and adults. We had a few people with food nut allergies and the chef was able to accommodate and was very careful with cross-contamination. Staff in the kitchen and in the dining area were very helpful in working with me before the day to make our dinner go as smoothly as possible. They gave us 2.5 hours which was perfect for us. Thank you to all the staff for helping make my cousin's 60th birthday special and very memorable!

The service was great. Atmosphere was excellent. Great place for group or date, but probably not for food. The food was too slow. Waited an hour for a mediocre pizza and pasta? No way. If you want food, there are other better Italian places on hasting.

Went with a large group to try out La Forchetta. They make their own pasta. Entrees aren't cheap; pastas are $25.50 to $28.00, pizzas $18.00 to 25.00. No lunch specials offered. - Bread ($4.00/basket) - they'll ask if you want bread but don't mention the price. - Calamari ($22.00) - not worth the price tag. - Bruschette miste ($15.00) - mortadella was the best piece but such a tiny portion. - 2x Pallotte cacio e uovo ($14.00) - was told the egg and cheese balls were salty. - Paccheri pistacchio ($28.00) - pasta was al dente and the sauce well balanced. Plenty of Italian sausage. - Prosciutto e rucola ($25.00) - nothing particularly memorable about their pizza. - Tiramisu ($12.00) - light and creamy. Only detected the smallest hint of marsala wine. Skip the appetizers and stick with the pasta.

Went with a table of three and was able to share three plates comfortably with an appetizer and desserts to share. service was excellent throughout the meal and there was no wait for a table since we made reservations ahead of time. they had a parking lot but it was full so we parked on the nearby uphill street. The gnocchi was my favorite. cooked and seasoned perfectly. we also enjoyed the pizza and pasta we selected. Crust on the pizza was traditional crust with a nice crunch to the crust. Kitchen was closed so there was no view to the cooking. I wasn't a fan of the dessert size but it was still enjoyable for the quantity you get. overall good pick with parking nearby. we spent a bit of cash for a good quality experience.

Casual dinner. Rib eye is very nice here with charcoal smell and done perfectly. Bread is too expensive though $4 for 3 pieces and nothing special. Other dishes are good. We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 main courses plus dessert. Just perfect portion.

The food was ok but the portions were very small and definitely not worth the price. Very sad looking very hard crust pizza is $24, appetizers size octopus $31.9!!!!! calamari $23.5. not a lot of stuffing agnolotti $26.5. risotto $30. pappardelle 26.5. Total comes to $170.52.

Great dine in experience with fresh ingredients and original dishes. Friendly staff who’s knowledgeable and give useful advice and recommendations on the amount of food we should order. We ordered the pizza bites with prosciutto starter but didn’t get a chance to try the pizza, the octopus was tender and delicious. Would love to come back and try other things on their menu next time. Also the restaurant is very chic and clean

The food was great, the pasta dishes were very delicious and original. Love the fresh pasta! The panna cotta was amazing! Service was excellent! Wine selection could be better and ambience could use another star if they change the napkins to cloth and cover the tables with white table cloth. Overall great restaurant with great food. We will be back for sure!
